Our waitress was really great, the environment was nice and comfortable. I had the shrimp and grits, not great... bland. My mother had the catfish, she stated it was overcooked. My husband had the pulled pork, which he stated was average. My father had the short ribs with mashed potatoes, he thought it was very good. Our tab was 150.00, no alcohol or appetizers. I wouldn't go back. If the food was better, yes... but it's a "no".
Our server only took our drink and food order and didn’t return until after we had finished our meal, however he did seam to be the only server in the restaurant. Our food was just eh as it didn’t have much flavor and was more expensive than what it would be worth. I would skip out on eating here and chose one of the better restaurants in the are.
Much better this round!
Our wonderful server, Justin, provided the perfect amount of attention, great recommendations for food and drink, and friendly personality. Food was amazing!
While the serving staff had excellent attitudes, their efforts were spread thin. I realize there is a shortage of wait staff across the state, but this did not seem to affect, proportionally, the number of tables sat.
Additionally, the breakfast/brunch options for such a prominent location in downtown OKC near so many beautiful parks was disappointing. The opportunity for excellence is there. They offer plenty of outdoor seating, allow pets, and have nice views of the Myriad Gardens.
The food ordered was decent, the bill was cheap, but the value was not quite to par for what we expected from Flint. Definitely a “get what you pay for” kind of situation.
Do better Flint. Be the prominent downtown restaurant we thought you were.
A regular guest. Food taste amazing, excellent bar and service is very good
Great food for decent prices. Would be a great place to have a nice meal on a budget. Wait staff was awesome!
The staff went above and beyond to make it a great night. We couldn't have imagined it would be such a great experience!
My boyfriend and I had our anniversary dinner here. We had a reservation and got seated right away. Our servers were great and attentive. The food and drinks were beyond amazing! Great flavor and presentation. The ambiance was perfect for a date night. Will definitely be coming back!
Good food and good atmosphere. Service was pretty good. Will definitely go back
Atmosphere was very nice. Service was pretty good. Food?
First of all, they offered no choices for two children that were with us. My Granddaughter, 7, had two slabs of ribs and Mac and cheese. My grandson, 9, had a plate with 1/2 a full chicken ! Really? Ridiculous for a child! Apparently, no other choices for kids.
Second, the food was not good. My Son and I had the No Name Ranch Beef and Pasta. I had about three bites and it was enough. Just very dry, non-seasoned beef with pasta and a few mushrooms. Never tasted any caramelized onions and certainly no sour cream/ brandy sauce!! I couldn’t even eat it. He poured on salt and pepper to give it some life! My daughter and daughter-in-law had the shrimp and grits. Disappointing also. Neither finished theirs.
This was a very disappointing meal especially since we had not gathered as a family in a while. Hoped to have a special evening with good food and special people. Didn’t happen. Will not be back.
Waitress and manager were both rude
We had reserved a certain table which was not available when we got there. Our waitress was terrific but the service was slow. We stay at the Colcord at least once every two months but will walk up the street to Cafe 324 for brunch in the future.
That was one of the worst experiences ive ever had. More than that i invited folks so i was embarrassed.
Food, service, location, and price met our expectations. Good evening out.
That experience was one of the worst I've had in oklahoma city. Restaurant was definitely not prepared for customers. I was embarrassed that i invited folks. Definitely wont return!!
Great service and good food. A few of the menu items online weren’t on the menu, so that was a tad disappointing, but those might be seasonal.
The food and ambiance were amazing. We were seated by the kitchen and every time someone walked into the kitchen they yelled “door”. I’m sure it had a purpose but got a little old. Overall it was a great experience.
Appeared to be understaffed according for inconsistent service.
Food mediocre. Went for eggs Benedict which they highlighted on the website but did not have. Remaining menu had little to offer and was poorly prepared.
Cost was fair.
The resturant is so cool inside the vibes are amazing! The let down was the food for sure. It was not very good at all. For the price of the food it should have been way better than it was! SO very disappointed 😞I do not plan on going back anytime soon.
We ordered soup and salad, the waiter didn't bring a spoon. I half expected heated cheese or cracked pepper to be offered, it wasn't. We ordered a bottle of Vino, they were ot and brought us a substitute which was a $10 bottle of wine that cost $40 for then to pour! We ordered shrimp and grits, but wanted to substitute mac n cheese for the grits. Apparently the waiter thought we wanted it the other way around! He offered to give us dessert and asked what mmt wife wanted and asked what i wanted, then brought one slice!
It was not what we expected from such a nice establishment! It really let us down, we had been wanting to eat there for years!!! They really need new staff and a new chef, maybe new management! We won't be eating there again!
I would like to leave zero stars. Idk what happened to this place. I thought this was considered “upscale dining”. The Customer Service is terrible.
Having owned a restaurant, I understand restaurant operations. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The hostess was very rude to my wife as we entered the restaurant. Then we were told it would be an hour before we could expect our food. Looking around I noticed the place was less than half full. We ordered coffee and pastries to carry us over until our brunch could arrive. The coffee was cold on arrival and it took an hour to deliver pastries which arrived at the same time as our food. The Texohoma omelette was missing most of its stated ingredients. I ordered hash as my side and received roasted red potatoes. The bison chili totally lacked any flavor. I should also note that I am a published chef. As I told my wife, I understand when things go wrong, however, the manager should have been greeting us at our table and offering pastries to help ease the strain of waiting over an hour to eat. It was obvious from the hostility of the hostess, the lackadaisical attitude of our server and the pathetic coffee service that this restaurant has a total failure of leadership. I certainly will never be back and will urge everyone who will listen to my expert counsel, AVOID FLINT AT ALL COSTS TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM CULINARY DISASTER!
Got the cheese board and it was delicious. I got the filet. It was cooked perfectly. So yummy and the mac and cheese was divine. Really nice date night!
Very good food. Great waitstaff
Have been here few years ago. Doesn't disappoint.
I’ve always enjoyed my visits to this restaurant. We had a party of five and among us had seafood, steak, and fried chicken. All the food was well prepared with good flavor. Definitely a place to dine in OKC
Even though the servers were nice, the food and drinks took forever to come out. And the food was subpar for the price that you pay. Average food with above average prices. The place had a nice vibe and was elegant. But don't go for the food. Overall, to expensive for what you get.
Thank you vvbghjgffjjhdfhkkjffhjkkffgjkhfgjkgghjkkh
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was nice, romantic. The service was slow and confused. Overall I would visit again even knowing some of the deficiencies. Nice looking restaurant in a very nice are of the city.
I thought it was very over-priced. The location was great and so was the decor, but it just wasn't any good. Mediocre food for $150 bucks. We got a bottle of wine, which was good, but the $30 salmon was nothing special and neither was the burger or the jalapeno hushpuppies. Yep, just two of us. Limited menu and it wasn't awesome.
After all the good information had heard about The Flint was truly disappointed in the food. I ordered the tacos and they were awful. Tortillas seemed old. We’re hard. Eggs were scorched. No avacado on the tacos. Should have sent them back but not sure if they were short of workers or what. Took forever to get second coffee but after that would bring refills regular to me. Really the only good part of service. Not sure would go back!
Valet service was great!
Took my girlfriend to brunch, they completely forgot our drink order and appetizers. We ordered our food and drinks prior to other tables being sat and they received their drinks and food before we got anything. I ran out of water and my glass was never refilled nor were we asked if we wanted another drink. Service sub par, food nothing you can’t get from McDonald’s. Highly disappointed and definitely will not be be returning.
Don’t bother. Food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. Waited thirty minutes just to be seated with a reservation and over an hour to get food.
Enjoyable Sunday dining. Love the location by Myriad Gardens and Scissortail Park.
Everything was slow, took 15 mins to order a drink, an hr to get the food. And the place wasn’t packed at all. The pancakes I ordered were burnt and didn’t even taste good, I ate a piece of the scrambled eggs and was immediately done. Idk if they’re short staffed, but the wait at that place and food don’t match up at all. Take allday and bring out disgusting food, my first and last time dining there.
The server seemed very nervous and unsure of themselves, someone that I wouldn't expect to have been given proper training. The main meal took almost 45 minutes to arrive. The BBQ burger was okay but nothing special for the price, and the swordfish was overcooked and they horribly over spiced to the point that I could taste nothing else but the harissa. The only part I enjoyed was the pimento cheese appetizer.
This is the second time eating at Flint, outstanding both time. Love nearly everything on the menu. Highly recommend the pimento cheese and chip appetizer, the chips were special and really made the dish.
Lovely setting for our anniversary. We sat outside. Little noisy with traffic sometimes, but not unbearable. The service was excellent. The food was great. We are vegan, so we were a little disappointed that there weren't more vegan options (we actually compromised and went with a steak and chicken LOL!). The steak and chicken were good, but our favorite part was the appetizer (black bean hummus with pita bread; so good!) and dessert (pumpkin cheesecake with raspberry sauce on top; amazing!!! and perfect with coffee!). I would absolutely recommend this place to a friend, especially for a special occasion!
Value wise Flint is a special occasion place. Everything about this place was wonderful!
The personnel was almost rude. The host was not welcoming, the waiter was rude. They did not know how to serve a table. Lacked basics like bringing salt & pepper to a breakfast seating. We actually had to fetch a waiter while there were more than 6 employees and just 3 tables including ours.
