I brought my girlfriend here for our birthday. The place was a cute lil bougie place but we probably wouldn’t come here again. Food was good, not a lot of options. Our server didn’t check on us to option but the manager got me right with my drink.
Waiter was the best part. Very friendly and knowledgable. The food was good. Definitely would go back.
Food was better than expected. Had catfish and shrimp & grits! Temperature of food was on point!
I didn't like that they only served brunch on weekends until dinner time. We were not aware of that when we made the reservation.
Everything was amazing except for the food. The portions were smaller than expected for the price and it was also very bland. Ordered a medium raw steak and received a cold, bloody, uneatable mess. It looked gorgeous as did the entire meal, but it was hardly worth $10, let alone the $65 I paid for my meal alone.
The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable with their recommendations, if only the kitchen staff hadn't dropped the ball.
We went for the valentine dinner with the set menu. You could tell the chef really cares about the technique and quality. However, the food lacked in flavor and the sides lacked in both flavor and creativity.
The price was that of a 5 star quality meal and more of a 3 star. A person could get a much better meal for a similar price.
Went for Valentine’s Day. We were sat right next to the kitchen door with 80 percent of the restaurant empty. Followed by that, it took 18 minutes for our server to come by for the first time. Very surprised to see that for a restaurant of this caliber. Nonetheless we stuck around, as this was also our first time visiting. The food was phenomenal and more than redeemed the lack of service that we continued to have.
Would still try this place again at their regular menu options.
Valentine’s Day menu was limited. The steak Oscar was very good and cooked perfectly.
Great everything. Loved the venue, reasonable price , food was expected nothing outstanding ,great waitress Awesome night . Definitely will be back .
My wife and I went here for a valentines day date. The restaurant was not busy at all. Our waiter was nice but she only came by 2 times the whole meal. The food was good but definitely not worth the high prices they charge. This is Oklahoma, so if you're going to charge $50 for a steak it better be pretty good and mine was just average. If their pricing was where it should be I might go back, but I can get much better food at reasonable prices.
Overpriced poor quality overall completely and utterly a waste of time
Great place to have dinner. I enjoyed myself with family !
We have been to Flint several times with mixed outcomes. I am happy to say this was one of our best experiences and we will definitely be back.
We love everything about Flint. The atmosphere is classic, the wait staff is polished and attentive, the wine list has good choices, and the food is deliciously different. Try the duck confit or the pot roast....delicious! You will not be disappointed.
We love the food at Flint (especially the duck confit!) and understand they're busy, but we had a hard time getting our waiter's attention since he was running around to multiple tables. The major downer was that we ordered a dessert to go and didn't realize till we had left that they gave us the wrong thing; it was okay, just not what we wanted or ordered.
Parking in that part of town is awful - having the valet service there is fabulous!
We always like it. They were somewhat understaffed this night because Mahogany was shut down for a broken pipe. I ordered chicken strips and they poured bbq sauce all over them, and that was obviously a mistake, but all in all you can always count on reasonable food, service and nice atmosphere. We need more downtown in this price range and quality.
This was my first time to have brunch at Flint. It was delicious and we had a great time. We even had live music which was a surprise added bonus.
Had a wonderful brunch to end a getaway weekend before heading home. Service and food were well worth the first time visit! We will return someday!
I think the atmosphere and food made up for the service. I felt like the prices were a bit high. A fine dining establishment would have better service, along with a pre-appetizer. Usually places will serve bread or even have an option for a side salad to begin with. Besides that, the food was delicious. The drinks were okay. Overall, it was pretty good though.
I was here from NYC all week and I’ve been to Flint 4 x’s. It’s my favorite restaurant in all of OKC!
The location and restaurant is great. Windows out to the street provide a great view. There wasnt that many people there when we arrived, but they huddled the few people that were there into such close proximity that it felt cramped and crowded. The service was polite and pleasant, but did take a moment to get started. I dont ever complain about being left alone after drinks and food is served. I'll wave somebody down if we need something. So all good there. Water glasses were both dirty and with something in them. Could be a premier place to go eat with a little attention to detail. A little to pricy as well.
Service was slow. I do not think this was the waiter’s fault. Bread should be free. The drinks are expensive.
Visiting from New York City. Our Server was awesome. He was very accommodating. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Friend's birthday brunch. Service - slow and poor. Took 10 minutes for a server (finally a manager that we flagged down down) to acknowledge our table. Another 10 minutes for a bottle of wine to make it our way. Food was less than mediocre. Our server was absolutely horrible. Preferred the tables with men. This is the fourth time I have been to Flint. Thought perhaps the first three were just "off" nights. This visit as cemented the fact I will not return nor recommend this establishment others.
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Our experience was outstanding. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was well prepared and presented. The bar near the entrance and the general noise level convey an atmosphere of fun, while the dining area is quiet enough for conversations and the booths by the windows offer privacy and a sense of calm. I cannot wait to have another meal there.
We were quite rushed due to having to wait 25 minutes after our reservation was scheduled so it was hard to have a reasonable time to enjoy our meal. In fact, one of our party was unable to finish.
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. The service was soooo slow. After an hour and half wait, the food was cold and mediocre. I won’t go back.
Went early. Only two tables had customers so the noise level was great. Food was good but a little pricey. Service was great since we were the only customers in our server’s area.
Everything was great except it was quite chilly in the restaurant.
Food and pricing were pretty good. Took awhile to get food however about 45min
Slow to be seated. Slow to get food. Food was average at best. Didn’t live up to the hype. Service was below average too. Not a good experience. Two of my party said they would not order their entree again.
Sadly disappointing experience food mediocre they had run out of food items drinks were served late appetizer and meal served at same time.
NYE before the Thunder game!
Great brunch experience. Santa Fe bowl with sweet potato, chorizo, etc was amazing. Service couldn’t have been better. There was even live music -piano and beautiful saxophone. The only thing that could have made it better, in my opinion, would be to brew better coffee.
Thanks for a Great Anniversary Dinner!! We had a very nice evening!!
Perfectly lit dining area with ample room to enjoy private conversations. Wait staff was professional and cordial. Service was quick and our waiter was consistent when checking on any needs or requests.
The plating was impeccable and tasted phenomenal.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a couple’s night out.
Celebrating Christmas Day at Flint was fantastic!
