Had a wonderful brunch to end a getaway weekend before heading home. Service and food were well worth the first time visit! We will return someday!
I was here from NYC all week and I’ve been to Flint 4 x’s. It’s my favorite restaurant in all of OKC!
The location and restaurant is great. Windows out to the street provide a great view. There wasnt that many people there when we arrived, but they huddled the few people that were there into such close proximity that it felt cramped and crowded. The service was polite and pleasant, but did take a moment to get started. I dont ever complain about being left alone after drinks and food is served. I'll wave somebody down if we need something. So all good there. Water glasses were both dirty and with something in them. Could be a premier place to go eat with a little attention to detail. A little to pricy as well.
Service was slow. I do not think this was the waiter’s fault. Bread should be free. The drinks are expensive.
Visiting from New York City. Our Server was awesome. He was very accommodating. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Friend's birthday brunch. Service - slow and poor. Took 10 minutes for a server (finally a manager that we flagged down down) to acknowledge our table. Another 10 minutes for a bottle of wine to make it our way. Food was less than mediocre. Our server was absolutely horrible. Preferred the tables with men. This is the fourth time I have been to Flint. Thought perhaps the first three were just "off" nights. This visit as cemented the fact I will not return nor recommend this establishment others.
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Our experience was outstanding. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was well prepared and presented. The bar near the entrance and the general noise level convey an atmosphere of fun, while the dining area is quiet enough for conversations and the booths by the windows offer privacy and a sense of calm. I cannot wait to have another meal there.
We were quite rushed due to having to wait 25 minutes after our reservation was scheduled so it was hard to have a reasonable time to enjoy our meal. In fact, one of our party was unable to finish.
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. The service was soooo slow. After an hour and half wait, the food was cold and mediocre. I won’t go back.
Went early. Only two tables had customers so the noise level was great. Food was good but a little pricey. Service was great since we were the only customers in our server’s area.
Everything was great except it was quite chilly in the restaurant.
Food and pricing were pretty good. Took awhile to get food however about 45min
Slow to be seated. Slow to get food. Food was average at best. Didn’t live up to the hype. Service was below average too. Not a good experience. Two of my party said they would not order their entree again.
Sadly disappointing experience food mediocre they had run out of food items drinks were served late appetizer and meal served at same time.
NYE before the Thunder game!
Great brunch experience. Santa Fe bowl with sweet potato, chorizo, etc was amazing. Service couldn’t have been better. There was even live music -piano and beautiful saxophone. The only thing that could have made it better, in my opinion, would be to brew better coffee.
Thanks for a Great Anniversary Dinner!! We had a very nice evening!!
Perfectly lit dining area with ample room to enjoy private conversations. Wait staff was professional and cordial. Service was quick and our waiter was consistent when checking on any needs or requests.
The plating was impeccable and tasted phenomenal.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a couple’s night out.
Celebrating Christmas Day at Flint was fantastic!
The service was extremely slow, we waited an hour before we were served our salad and bread. The main course was not what we ordered so we waited again for the correct food. Al it took almost 2 hours.
Had Christmas lunch on the 25th. Early lunch at 11am, due to only thing available, but restaurant wasn't busy. Service was nice and efficient. Food was not unique or interesting...very basic. Options were limited. Not worth the $45 fixed price.
Great food and service. Love it more every time I come.
We brought our dog and sat outside. It was low-60s but sunny. We were the only ones outside so service was slow and it took a long time to get our order in. The food was served hot and tasty. I go the chicken fried ribeye which I highly recommend. Even the pup liked the green beans.
Took 18 minutes to be acknowledged by our waitress
Turkey Burger was very dry and bland
Great service, ambience, and very good margaritas! My only complaint would be the salmon I ordered which was on the dry size and small. I received an end piece of fish and so did my son. For the high price your paying you should get a nice cut of fillet. My fault for not saying anything when it was served to me.
So much fried breading on the catfish with very little fish. Found two bones. Very greasy. Fries were cold. Very disappointed this time around. Bring back the meatloaf!
I felt our service could have been better he seem like he did not want to be there at we had to wait on our drinks after we had to ask for a drink menu.
Always amazing! We eat here at least once a month and it is always fantastic!
All went well. Very pleasant dinner and evening. Good food, good Service.
Never been disappointed at Flint.
The pace of service for brunch was incredibly slow. 45 minutes to get brunch food is way too long. Toast dry, served without butter, had to chase down server to get butter. Needs a good manager.
The server wasn’t very attentive everything else was great
No wait. Friendly staff. Delicious food. The Spicy Bloody Mary was the perfect morning-after-Bedlam cocktail.
Perfect Thanksgiving dinner. We’ve been going here for holidays for years and have never been disappointed.
We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Flints and it was excellent. The food, the beverages, the service - all wonderful. It was a bit pricey for two, but we would go back again.
I would recommend Flint with disclaimers. It felt like the food service was disorganized and the kitchen was overwhelmed. I absolutely appreciated the fact that Flint was open for Thanksgiving and the wait staff was wonderful and they were working hard but the host staff was inattentive and did not seem to be assisting the rest of the staff. There seemed to be a disconnect. The wait staff was warm and wished the patrons a happy Thanksgiving whereas the greeting staff was in their own world happy to stay out of the chaos. But they weren't even hospitable or welcoming. I suspect that everyone was overwhelmed and there were no expediters in the kitchen. The food was good, but with only an ok dessert. I hope Flint decides to open on Thanksgiving again but with better planning, a calmer environment and a true hospitality staff that can offer some snacks at the table and some prosecco and festive music playing. It felt like a stressed out Thanksgiving at my house.
My family ate Thanksgiving dinner at the Flint. The food and service was super. We look forward to another visit. try it out. You will like it.
We are paying the exhorbitant price of $45 for a meal and the menu has a fabulous descriptive array of food but this meal was flavorless, bland and dull. The table of 8 was served at all different times, sent back two prime ribeye, no bread and butter served -super slow service and waited for dessert for e v e r, finally arriving was a cold piece of pecan pie. At the 2 hour mark still waiting for a check. Embarrassing thanksgiving as I invited my parents and in-laws to the most expensive meal I’ve ever hosted and it was an epic fail. I feel jilted. (Also when I made the reservation it was because I read an article dated October 2019 which said Flint would serve Thanksgiving Dinner for $28 each and the printed menu on arrival was $45!!!!!)
