Absolutely nothing but good things to say about our greeter, waitperson, food quality and service time. It was also nice to see the manager hustling around, helping and checking in with the patrons. Excellent work all around and greatly appreciated. (Only one tiny thing; wish you offered mints.) Thank you for the great evening!
I look forward to coming back.
We had a great experience, both for dinner and brunch. In addition, ask for Carlos, he provided great wait service. Only draw back was being placed by a loud party celebrating a bachelorette party. We were on a couples week end trip and really needed a more romantic setting. Still worth the noise because the food was incredible.
Very nice evening!
I always enjoy Flint!!
We enjoyed the pork shank and the trout. Wine selection is very good and they have a nice cocktail menu. My Aviator cocktail pre-dinner was delicious! They seemed to be a bit short on servers as one of the bartenders was our server and she was doing double duty. It didn't have a huge effect on service, but she seemed a little overwhelmed. Overall, a great evening.
Jose was our server and he was phenomenal! We enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning.
Had a great office party there. They were very accommodating to our needs and made for a great evening
Great server and food, but it took 40 minutes to get 2 burgers after we placed our order. It was game night, but the restaurant wasn’t full.
The eggs florentine was absolutely delicious, cooked to near perfection
Popped in for breakfast, waited 30 minutes for our food. Waiter brought my husbands breakfast but they lost mine. 🙃. We left and went elsewhere.
Flints brunch is on a slippery downhill slope
Our over all experience for our Thanksgiving dinner at Flint was awful, for various reasons. First, we ordered an appetizer and when it arrived we realized we were not given forks when we were sat at our table. My partner quickly flagged our waiter down and asked that we receive forks. We waited several minutes as our appetizer was getting cold. While we waited I noticed our waiter pass us several times, giving checks, getting drinks, picking up finished entrees. I finally got tired of waiting and asked the hostess for forks. As the hostess was getting forks for us I again saw our waiter pass with another drink for another table and it caught his eye that I was receiving help from her. Then shortly after I returned to our table he came to our table to fill our water and said "Oh, I guess you got forks already". We took our order and I asked that for my entree I have the basil pesto on the side and my partner asked that her prime rib be prepared medium rare. I saw that our waiter had not written down our order. We waited patiently for our entrees and when received I noticed immediately the pesto was not put on the side and my partner cut into her steak and saw it was cooked well done. She also was supposed to receive mash potatoes and instead received home fries.. The waiter did not bother to mention they had ran out of mash potatoes OR ask if she would like to have something else to substitute. At this point we were both frustrated with our experience and when our waiter returned she asked about the mash potatoes and mentioned her steak was well done. The waiter THEN mentioned they had ran out of mash potatoes and asked if she would like another steak be cooked. We decided then to take my plate to go and leave. Fortunately we were not charged for her entree. Of course at this point kitchens everywhere else were closed and we had no option but to go home.
Our only disappointment was in my husbands food choice. Keep in mind it was 3:15 on Thanksgiving and one of the options was prime rib. He must have received the last portion as it was small and obviously the end pieces (burned) and it was dry. Won’t keep us from going back, we will just make a better selection next time.
Flint was a great place to spend my Thanksgiving away from home. The servers were great and very courteous and the food was scrumptious.
Thanks giving dinner
The food, service, and atmosphere was beyond expectations..
Had their special Thanksgiving lunch. Our server, Katey, was fantastic. The turkey, ham, stuffing and potatoes were all excellent. My wife doesn't care for turkey or ham, so she had a bacon/hamburger that looked so good I can't wait to come back to have one for myself. We already deemed it our Thanksgiving "go-to" place...and look forward to any other opportunity we have to eat here.
When in okc we will come back!
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Our favorite brunch place when in the city.
Great spot in a great hotel, and very accomodating for post-theater arrivals!
Attentive staff, and memorable comfort food!
Wonderful drinks and food. The staff was great. I recommend for Pre Thunder game dining. Fantastic place!
Excellent food, good prices, nice atmosphere, been here several times. Service was lacking, our poor waiter had too many tables, only saw two servers that night. He did a fine job considering the number of tables he had to take care of. We will be returning customers.
For being attached to a 4-star hotel and being the litttle brother of Vast (a world-class restaurant). I was disappointed with both the service my friends and I received and the quality of the food. My fish was soggy, and several of the burgers ordered by others were charred on the exterior and thoroughly over-cooked. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food after ordering. My cocktail was a small measure for the price, and another group member’s drink order was forgotten all together.
Wonderful atmosphere and food was excellent
Great place for a special occasion or more elegant setting. The menu doesn’t offer a huge amount of selection, but the options are fine and well-prepared. The service was excellent and the location is fantastic especially for downtown events (NBA games, concerts, etc). The price was on the expensive side as you might expect for a classy upscale setting in the downtown area. Recommend using the valet to avoid having to fight for a parking spot nearby.
We love staying at the Colcord but the restaurant has become a big disappointment. The service is marginal....our server this past Friday, George (Jorge), was friendly, attentive and did his best but was thwarted by the bar and kitchen, IMO. Cocktails ordered LONG before dinner orders were taken, were not delivered until the food came out....which also took WAY too long. Restaurant was NOT busy...perhaps only 6 tables of patrons...shouldn't have taken so long. Will probably not be going back...sad, because the setting is fun..floor to ceiling windows in an urban environment....
Veg pozole soup and beet & goat cheese salad are still my favorite. My husband tries something new each time - never disappointed! Our waitress, Paris, was great. Delivery from bar was little slow - particularly the beer ordered to accompany dinner.
It took us an hour and a half to get our entrees. It surely doesn't take that long to cook a steak. The food was good but I was very disappointed in the service. Our waiter appeared to be young and inexperienced and at the end of the meal the chef made a lame excuse that they had to deal with a private party of 20 people. They made no apologies and did not seem to care.
Good experience. Tequila flight wasn't worth it; find something else to embibe. We had a pacing problem with the meal (app. came at same time as meal). It's worth a chance in spite of the challenges we encountered.
Boring food bad cocktails, bad service!!
Great place to eat before a Thunder game. Food was great and service was timely
Great by the bottle wine selection and prices, make sure you ask for the wine list
We had the worst server I have ever experienced in my life. He was so inattentive that we had to ask a neighboring server to refill our drinks. Everything took a long time. The server was extremely rude when a drink was spilled - we had to clean it up ourselves and were informed that another drink would not be complimentary as it was not his fault. The manager did comp 1/2 of our meal, but I would have much preferred to pay full price for an enjoyable experience.
I am a lawyer in NE Oklahoma and met my mom and sister-in-law from SW Oklahoma for a girls' weekend to see the ballet.
Server forgot we were sitting out side food was delicious but would not adventure on the cocktails again.
Charcuterie board tasty. Patty melt great. Caesar salad a little too salty but good. Nice dinner before Thunder game but at $110 for the appetizer, two burgers and a Caesar its a little pricey to do before every game. Nice treat though.
Food was good but service was only acceptable at best. Waitress was not attentive and did not ask if we wanted drink refills. When asked a polite question about the check, she quickly became rude and defensive. We have loved going to Flint for brunch but after this experience we will likely be looking for a different location.
Kevin provided excellent service and recommendations! We love sitting by the fire and staying warm. The drinks, wine list, and food are exceptional and worth every dollar. We come here every time we're in OKC for a drink or dinner or both! Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Pretty good time
We love Flint!
