Great food and service Our waiter, Kevin was attentive to my gluten free diet. He made great suggestions for wine pairings and after dinner drink. Great time
First time visit. Highly recommended venue for great food and very attentive service. Quiet enough to allow good conversation which is increasingly rare. Good value menu for a high end restaurant. Thought it was better than the posted rating on line in all ways.
Service was poor, food was okay. A bit overpriced.
I can’t say enough about the Mac and cheese. But I’m a Mac and cheese addict.
Drinks were way overpriced!
My past three experiences have been very, very, very poor. I will not return to your restaurant.
Bottles of red wine were served ice cold...terrible. Two of us had steak, both were terribly under cooked and had to be sent back. One person had fries that were cold, one person had cheese grits that were absolutely terrible....dry, tasteless, and gritty. The food was pretty bad quality for the price, service was friendly but slow. Will not return.
The parking attendants CJ did a wonder job taking care of me and my date. Keep up the great job CJ
Excellent. Would highly recommend. Our first dinner was such a positive experience we booked for a second night.
One of our favorite dining experiences ever.
brunch menu was good for the weekend. big servings- worth the value
Creative menu in a fabulous space! Try the queso!
Great dinner. Staff was excellent, very attentive. Appalachian Queso appetizer was amazing. Overall a great place to dine before heading to the theatre.
Maybe the finest carrot cake I’ve ever eaten. Thanks.
Everything was great! We had fast service and amazing food. The fried green tomatoes were to die for! My salmon tacos were a little too oily but had a nice flavor. I don’t think I would get them again but my mother loved her panini!
The service is always poor at this restaurant. My husband got the fish and for $17.00 it was one piece that most of it was battered and really didn't have that much fish under all the batter. Paeso Grill is way better food and priced way more reasonable.
Really enjoyed our meal at Flint. The table was ready and well appointed. The service was outstanding and we both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Food was delicious. My friend enjoyed the Scottish Salmon and I loved the catfish. We were going to a concert after dinner and the server was very conscientious about being sure we were served in an expedient but not rushed manner. Great mojito too!
Biggest complaint was the wine. We paid $52 for a 1/2 bottle of mediocre wine (Honig, I think). It wasn't worth that for a whole bottle. Waitress was very good (Savannah, I think).
Beautiful Resturant! Lovely setting and friendly staff. But say on the patio n area we were seated in needed to be wiped, it was cleared but then menus were brought (that had spots n stains soaked through them) and no one wiped until we asked. When asking to clean up or for more of anything they were polite but no one really making rounds or busing at all (maybe because it was the patio?). Had to ask for bill. Saw what looked like the manager busing tables ... it was odd , yet four staff l were at the hosts booth standing n greeting together and same four there when we left. Place not busy. Food was great . We Went because we had noticed online the vegetarian n vegan options but we would have loved to have seen more. Valet was great.
We had eaten at Flint a couple of years ago and it was excellent, but clearly there is now a different chef and kitchen staff. The food was too heavily seasoned, too heavy on tomatoes, too much salt (and I LOVE salt), pepper and rosemary. We had problems with the seasoning on both our evening meals and our breakfasts, with the chicken fried steak and eggs being inedible due to thick, heavy seasoning. My husband felt ill after eating the crab cakes, but wasn't sure if it was the food or something else. Definitely not the type of food we had had before. It was like no one ever even tasted the sauces and entrees before they were served. Disappointing.
Perfect anniversary dinner and convenient to walk in myriad gardens after dinner
Waitstaff not knowledgeable about drink menu. We were provided dirty/smelly wine glasses and had to send them back with no apology. Steaks cooked wrong, sides on wrong plates. Overall, not an enjoyable experience, especially for the price
Had Brunch on a Sunday morning. Waitress was amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious. We had a wonderful time.
It was amazing!
Really good food, interesting combinations, well prepared. This was a return trip and would return again.
Food was amazing so kudos to the kitchen staff. Front of house staff on the other hand was lacking to say the least. Took over 45 minutes to get our bill, which I understand we were the only ones sitting on the patio, but when I asked 2 separate servers that I had to hunt down mind you they both told me I'd have to find my actual server.
There were a few other things, however I've been serving for 10+ years and I get we all have bad days so no harm done the food was great and the atmosphere was too. Over all I'd give it another go! 😊
We had brunch here. It was really good, not phenomenal, but good. Service was awesome though! The view of the waterfall at Myriad Gardens is really nice.
Woah! Best food I've had in a LONG time!!! Will be back again and again!
Absolutely delicious food. We had the charcuterie board to start, the garlic pot roast for myself and the tasty beast for my boyfriend. Everything was outstanding! We had the key lime pie and the bourbon molasses cake for dessert and they were great. Basically I would come here for every meal if I could!
We dined there for our anniversary. Food and service were outstanding.
My family loves coming to Flint for Sunday brunch! The staff is always very helpful and the breakfast is exceptional. Live saxophone music provided by Vearl T sets the mood for a great time together!
Upon arrival, the hostess was too busy texting to acknowledge us.
It was just two of us, after sitting for 5 minutes I could hear two servers fighting over who would serve us. The girl who ended up being our server was worthless. For a 90 minute visit she came by 3 times. We had to order refills and request the check from the bartender.
Food is extremely overpriced for being subpar. The Texhoma Omelet was swimming in grease. Would have sent it back, but it already took half an hour to get the meal and the server never came back around. Luckily the table behind us wasn’t bussed so I was able to get a bottle of hot sauce from that.
The only person to look semi-professional delivered our appetizer. He told us to ‘talk dirty’ to our hush puppies... which was extremely off-putting.
Don’t waste your time, unless you just want some music and overpriced food.
Breakfast- the sever didn’t know the menu. The restaurant was dead. We were the only people there. No need for a reservation.
Loved the musician playing. I personally thought the room was a little cold though.
I’d have to say for my wife’s and I first anniversary this restaurant was the perfect place to have reservations at.
I will write it off as a misstep...I have always enjoyed my previous experiences at Flint, but this one was not on par. Appetizers came out at vastly different times, service was not up to Flint’s standard and one of the entrees came out without a side of asparagus (which then took over five minutes to cook and be served, by which time our entree had already been eaten). The best part of the evening was the free shuttle to and from the Civic Center Music Hall for Hamilton! I will give them another try in the coming months!
Great food! Great service! Looking forward to eating there again.
Overall had an awesome time! Service a tad slow but not a big deal! Food was amazing. Steak cooked perfectly and that macaroni... Man. So dang good! All workers were helpful and I liked that everyone seemed to help everyone out. Loved it and will definitely eat there again! Great date night!
There was not a blender for a frozen drink. The service was questionable. We asked what the fish of the day was and did not see George for another 5-10 minutes. The value was average. The food was fair.
For the price we were not impressed.
