   Casual dinner with business associates, great service with a smile and made us feel welcome. Seeing the chef work in the kitchen while we were eating created nice atmosphere. Had a chat to chef at end of dinner and discuss the meals served was nice way to finish and feel connected. Loved the grill and the meat was awesome and well presented on the plate. Coupled with a good selection of wine. Would recommend if you like grilled meats.

   An unforgettable dining experience where every dish was masterfully cooked over fire, bursting with flavour and charm. My 13yo son summed it up perfectly: “The atmosphere is moody and the hosts charismatic.” A true feast for the senses!

   We had an exceptional dining experience at Flint a couple of evenings ago and I can't rate this restaurant highly enough. Everything was delicious...imaginatively created, beautifully prepared and presented, and then joyously served. Even our cocktails were creative and delicious! Owner and chef Nicki has created a gem and her personal touch to all the food is beyond special. Luke – as greeter, menu advisor, cocktail creator, wine consultant and table waiter – was friendly and helpful, sufficiently attentive without being overly present. The whole evening was an experience, one we were in no hurry to conclude. Flint is a restaurant you want to savour and is outstanding value for money.

   Flint is one of go to local restaurants. The staff are enthusiastic and engaging. Carrot carrot must stay on the menu forever!

   The steak was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Melbourne. Quality produce and prepared perfectly. The menu otherwise is limited. The fish was fresh but underwhelming. The space is cool. Comfortable and stylish. The staff is warm and kind, but they likely need one more person. Will definitely return because Flint is worth supporting.

   Excellent experience showcasing what the power of smoke, char and fermentation in food. Great food, great drinks and chef Nicki and Luke were very accomodating

   Kind and friendly service with a fun sense of humor. Food was delicious - care, thought and real skill involved. My friends and I had a lovely evening. Will be back!

   Julia, Luke and Nicki were amazing. The food was beyond insane — the Wagyu and the bone marrow sourdough was our personal favourite. Genuinely the best food we’ve had in Melbourne in a LONG time. Met Luke and Julia after their shift at the bar next door and safe to say, they’re legends! Will be making this spot our go-to, especially if we can see Nicki’s best friend, Lenny, again! Thanks guys 🩷🩷

    Hands-down the best wagyu steak in Melbourne. I’m not lying. Everything was cooked right in front of us on the charcoal and it was such an amazing thing to experience. We will absolutely be back!
