California bowl .... thumbs down
Creamy lobster bisque tasty and creamy
Service was great food was delicious!!
The Sunday Table (3 course menu) is most definitely worth the price. Tonight's meal was Petite Filet Mignon, Lobster tail with Fleming's salad and choice of Carrot Cake or Key Lime pie.
The whole dining experience was very personalized. The service was superb and of course the food were cooked to perfection.
We went for my step dad’s birthday lunch. Everything was great! Plus it was DineLA week, even better!
Jacob, our server was very pleasant, talked about menu availability and made recommendations for both food and wine. He gave us room to be, to converse and enjoy the food and wine! No rushing us, but Jacob was attentive and so was the support staff. The restaurant manager stopped by to greet us at our table, she thanked us for our patronage and offered herself to any questions we may have in the future. This was our second visit to Flemmings - Pasadena, we will continue to enjoy coming here.
The food was excellent. My husband has the ribeye and I had the filet with shrimp on top. Our waiter his name was Thomas, by far the best service we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be going back to this location.
We have been eating at Fleming's Steakhouse off and on over the past several years. While we haven't been there for about 4 or 5 months, things have really changed. The steak was still excellent, but that's about it. We asked our server if the sensational crisp, sliver-thin fries were still available, but not on the menu. She said they were much to our delight. But they were NOT what we expected. They were NOT crisp NOR sliver-thin. We also asked about our favorite dessert, Carrot Cake. Yup. Still available. Again, NOT what we had previously enjoyed.
I know there is a different chef with his own take on the menu. We were NOT impressed, and probably won't return.
It's okay, I dont recomend the tomahawk unless you have time lots of time.
We always go to Flemings Pasadena for our New Year's Eve dinner.
Food, service is great. I love this place.
The only set back was going home to Los Angeles, it takes longer because roads are closed in Pasadena because of the Rose Parade the following day.
Dinner for 2 took about 2.5 hours. While it was a holiday and a busy night, the service was very slow. Food was good quality but there were also several mistakes with our order. It took a little over an hour for our meal to come out from ordering. The manager did come by towards the end and apologized for the mistake with our dessert but not for the long delays etc and did not offer to comp the dessert or a drink or something. We sat at a table towards the front, got a cold draft every time the door opened.
A nice place but would not recommend for a busy night or holiday.
We had an amazing experience. The service at this restaurant, especially for New Years Eve, was perfect. We always love Fleming’s, this one went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable!
Our waiter, Tom was/is incredible. A trained sommelier, that understood out taste in wine and entree's. I have been several times to the Pasadena location, but will make sure we can get Tom with future reservations. Food was cooked perfect, appropriate temperature, with great presentation.
We so appreciated your attention to our Anniversary luncheon with complimentary truffles at the end! The food was delicious and the ambience so relaxed, yet elegant that we are looking forward to returning to enjoy the bar area. The server did not pay attention to serving the lady with the club soda first and she waiting to the appetizer course to get her (simple, yet needed) drink. He was more involved with opening a bottle of wine for the rest of the party.
The service and food were excellent as always
Service was outstanding Josh, the manager, served us champagne on the house as we waited for a table! Filet minion was the best we have ever tasted!! And the lobster Mac n cheese is to die for!!
Disappointed. We’ve been to Fleming’s numerous times. This experience was disappointing. The service was below average, especially during the time that we went. We had an early dinner, so the place was quite empty. Our tomahawk was a fail. It came out beyond CHARRED. It was burnt. We couldn’t send it back, because we were short on time. Our brussel sprouts didn’t taste as good as we have had them many times before. The brussel sprouts were overcooked and soggy, and there was very little bacon. The cheesecake that we ordered was edible. Overall, this experience at this Fleming’s was truly a disappointment.
We had an incredible time and the staff were more than accommodating, but that was after we found out they took too many reservations for the evening. We showed up for our 7pm reservation on time and had to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. While we understand it was a busy night for them, it got our night off on the wrong foot.
Totally packed for holidays but service was slow
Food was not anything special. For four people, we spent nearly $750 - nice bottle of wine. I would have expected a better experience, even with the season.
My sandwich had mushrooms and I had requested that they hold the mushrooms so I had to wait for them to bring another sandwich
My dads 89th Birthday
We have always had a fantastic experience at Flemings. This time was below par. Our salads were served improperly (twice). The sides that are meant to be shared have been cut in half. The meat and fish were delicious, just way overpriced since our last visit. Not sure if this was a one time experience or something that will continue to happen.
Party of 4 and more were all seated to the side instead of main area
Preparing for my nieces first birthdays.
I am sorry to say it was a not a good experience. They were way over booked and behind, we had to wait 45 minutes. Once we were seated it took almost 15 for our drinks. The food was warn but not hot.
The turkey was dry as was the stuffing. We asked for a glass of wine it came when we had finished the meal. Our check was dropped off never asking if we wanted coffee etc. We go to flemings once a month, the last time we went the steak was old and tasted bad. We know normally its much better so the 6 of us went for Thanksgiving and it was so bad....I am so sorry to say
Over booked and unprepared
Unfortunately, the wait with reservations was over an hour, but we were provided free champagne during the wait. At our table, we were also offered additional hors d’oeuvres for the inconvenience. We appreciated the thoughtful treatment and recognition of delaying our Thanksgiving dinner schedule!
As usual, the food and service were excellent!
The restaurant was either overbooked, short-staffed or running very behind for the Thanksgiving dinner service. Arrived 5 mins before our 6PM reservation and was finally seated nearly an hour later. Very disappointed to have been hastily seated outdoors, which no one would logically request for, on a rainy day. My 88 year old mother was freezing cold and we requested to be seated indoors on next available, which the staff eventually was able to accommodate. At that point, the whole evening was ruined and we simply wanted to finish our food and leave. To Fleming's credit, we have patronized this restaurant on other occasions and this was the only time they failed so miserably on all levels.
Our Server was amazing! He was knowledgeable, polite and helpful!!!
Interior design is very modern, ambience is a plus. Food is better than expected given a chain restaurant. Overall good experience.
Great people and very good drinks
This is a great restaurant but it is very expensive. I love the bread, the appetizers are amazing, and the salad is pretty good. Service is outstanding! This is a great place for a special occasion.
They were out of bread- a bummer- and they offered lavosh crackers in lieu but they were marginal. Service was good.
I am never disappointed at Fleming's. Never. So, this review is more about the top notch service my family and I received from Jacob who was attentive, professional, and kept things moving throughout the evening. While I am going to miss the bone-in filet which I understand is going to be taken off the menu, I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and the sides. In my humble opinion Fleming's is a superior steakhouse and a solid outing when you are up for a nice evening out or for date night.
Very good service but food came warm and wrong. Also toilet was dirty no soap.
We went to celebrate a birthday and the food was good, the service very attentive, and the drinks were well prepared. We left content with no complaints.
Service was great. Food was good but not heavenly.
