Unique choice of options. Started with kangaroo appetizer which tastes similar to beef. Scallops and halibut entrees were very good. Price is a tad high but comparable to Seattle restaurants. Nice to have a great option without going to the city.
This is our favorite spot ever!! Everyone should try this place ♥️
I normally LOVE eating here and have had many amazing meals with top notch service. But, we came for the Easter brunch buffet and were very underwhelmed. Many of the food dishes were not hot or suffered from not being served immediately (waffles, funnel cake and the English muffin on the benedict). The bacon was no where near crispy. Eggs were just warm.
Our table was near the back door and we froze every time someone came in. I know the place is small, but on cold wet days, I don’t think folks should be seated at this table.
All that being said...I will be back for sure, just not for a buffet. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here on prior occasions.
Food and service were outstanding! Unique and creative menu. Will definitely be back!
Great music and atmosphere, chef very attentive. Friendly staff. Had a great meal.
Sean is an amazing restaurateur. He makes everyone feel welcomed. Presentation of all courses are amazing as is the flavor. I could eat there every day ! Thanx Sean
Flavour Bistro does not disappoint. We have been here several times for dinner and was delighted to see they now serve brunch. Meals are spot on and it's so nice to have a new and creative restaurant in our small town.
The menu has some very unique items. We especially liked the salmon chowder and chocolate mouse. The chicken and fish were moist and the sauces delicious. We would definitely go back.
We had the sea bass and seafood gnocchi from the weekly menu. Both were excellent. This is the 2nd time we've been to the restaurant and the weekly menu was super both times and reflected local fresh ingredients. The preparations emphasize flavor and balance of the ingredients.
Excellent food, as always. Great service. We’ve been regular customers since they were in Fall City, so the chef always greets us, and says goodbye on our way out. We love him and his restaurant.
Food was fantastic, as well as service. We can't wait to visit again.
Outstanding menu, different but delicious. Make reservations because you get free truffle popcorn. Tables by the windows are lovely
What a fun night tonight was! Thank you again for a memorable time! Jordan always takes great care of us and Connie always is such a blessing and sweetheart! Thank you! We will see you again!
We love Flavour Bistro! Something on the menu for everyone. Food, presentation, atmosphere and staff A++ - Good Job!
BTW - it is in charming Duvall not Fall City -
Sean and his team continue to put out outstanding meals, electic and diverse menu and well presented.
This restaurant is upscale and exactly what Duvall has been lacking in restaurants. Chef Sean came out and greeted diners. Asked if we were satisfied with the meal. Food was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere & live music. Lots of staff all very attentive. We were celebrating my mom’s 87th birthday. I had the salmon off the fresh sheet menu & it was perfectly cooked. We will be back.
Fantastic food exceeding my expectations every time. Your restaurant is my all time fav and very happy your now in Duvall.
Nice place. Great service. Good cocktails. Good, but not great, food. Over priced.
Yum it was great
We had a great time with the chef and Jo Jo our server
Although I received a confirmation from open window, Bistro did not have my reservation. Wasn't any problem however.
Went on a Sunday and was informed the show started at 7.
Inexpectedly it was a drag show. Really added some spice to a typical birthday dinner. Their last show in this location is February 26 as they're moving and reopening in Duvall in May. Good food and fun event!
The food was excellent, but the service was mediocre. We visited Fall City the Saturday before Valentine's day. We were seated relatively quickly since we were 15 minutes early for our reservation. We were promptly brought a bowl of popcorn. Unfortunately, we were then ignored and no one talked to us (drinks or food) for over 15 minutes. At this point, we stopped someone and asked for drinks. Maybe they were busier than normal due to it being the Saturday before Valentines. Once we requested service, the server did an excellent job and was very attentive. The food that we ordered was seasoned well and tasted amazing. There is a large menu and a large wine selection of various prices so good choices. The prices seem fair. We'll definitely visit again as the food was great and hopefully the service will be better.
Great salmon from the fresh list and the amazing as always duck & sausage stroganoff.
The Fall City Bistro is a real find! The food was excellent and you can tell the Chef is creative and works with fresh local ingredients. Very good food and Service, the staff worked hard to make us comfortable. The only downside was the building the restaurant is currently in feels like it is falling apart and there was almost no heat. Most people inside were having a great time but still kept their coats on. I understand the restaurant is moving from its current location in Fall City to Duvall. If you go before they move, I highly recommend the pasta dish with duck and pork.
Our food ranged from good to outstanding - the bison rib eye and gonzo dessert were particularly delicious. Scallops were competent but not great, and fried asparagus appetizer left a bit to be desired but wasn't bad.
service was a big downside - we ordered hot tea and sent it back because the water was brought out cold, and then waited a good bit only to have the replacement brought out at room temperature. we never actually got any hot tea. we went over an hour with no water refills as well. it also took more than half an hour between asking for the check and finally getting our card brought back for signature. our waiter wasn't particularly busy, but spent a lot of time talking to patrons at the bar while ignoring our table and the one next to us.
I recently moved near Fall City so after a busy moving day our group decided to dine at the Bistro. Our group was treated to the famous truffle popcorn....we loved it. That was followed by a Kangaroo appetizer....amazingly good. The menu is incredible and the staff is welcoming and responsive. We did have a blunder on a rib-eye steak order, but Chef Langan personally came out and explained it. This will be my favorite place to dine.
We came here on a double date and couldn't have enjoyed the experience more! From the food, to the ambiance, to the live music - it all was on point. You could taste the quality of both ingredients and preparation in every bite.
The food is fabulous!Have traveled the world for my job and Fall City Bistro is my favorite restaurant of all.On this visit we enjoyed some of the new small plates, and the prime rib was the best I ever had.
Coffee was like warm.
I missed the music on Saturday. Great spinach/artichoke/ crab appetizer. I always order that. Halibut cheeks, chicken in the Marsala sauce I'd also recommend.
We love this fine dining establishment in the most unpredictable area. I do miss the white table linens and white leather dinner area. The decor moved slightly away from this feel. The more elegant and classy the better because of how unexpected it is from the location. The decor needs to match the food. It's currently (decor) not matching the amazing , high quality, elegant menu.
We have heard about Fall City Bistro for the past year and finally took the opportunity to try it! From the truffle popcorn to their own wines, it was fantastic!! We had the biggest "cup" of smoked salmon chowder ever, shared the unique Caprese a l'orange and the Pasta Special. Every dish was delicious, unique and flavorful. Service from the hostess to the wait staff was very professional and friendly. Live music was a great accompaniment but didn't prevent us from hearing conversation. Will definitely return!
Have been to Fall City Bistro several times and have never been disappointed. Truffle popcorn and duck stroganoff are favorites. Good wine list with very reasonable prices. Last Sunday of the month Diva show is always entertaining!
Me and my wife dine here about once a month, it is a restaurant that should belong in Seattle but we are lucky to have it close to home. The service is sometimes inconsistent but the food is incredible and always consistent. The Chef/owner is extremely particular about quality and presentation. The Togarashi Ribs are to die for and the Zongo dish for desert is plate licking great. There are many other great dishes Kangaroo, Curry and others on the menu that you can't find at any other restaurants in the area. The ambiance is very cool, retro elegant, roaring 20's themed.
Oh and make a reservation, you get the Truffle Popcorn free. It's the best popcorn you will ever have!
