flavourbistro (FKA Fall City Bistro)
flavourbistro - Chef Langan's new venture in Duvall, will be opening in May 2017. Though under a different name and location, we look forward to carrying over our same great concept and services.
Providing all natural and organic fair.
Thank you for showing us the love and dedication to our bistro and we look forward in seeing you all in our new location.
Sean is a chef and host second to none. His staff is attentive and engaging. My flaming duck was amazing. I love the intimate decor and lighting so perfect anytime but especially on date night. My favorite place to bring guests!
Great ambience, tasty and beautifully prepared food. Excellent service! Highly recommend this gem.
Fantastic overall. Rare find in a small town. Live music, great service and food was delicious.
Unfortunately, it took a long time for our food to be served and then out of the entree’s was totally wrong so they had to make the right one during which time the other two of us had finished eating already. No new silverware was given to us so we had to share knives to cut our food. We had a great experience during the summer but were totally disappointed this time. For the price/value it was outrageously bad.
Chef takes it to a new level with each weeks fresh menu. Outstanding flavors with beautiful plated dishes. A must for foodies!
Great imagination but the main courses were all served cold, and live entertainment was provided but, while not unpleasant, was loud enough to prevent conversation.
Always a great experience! Amazing flavors and quality and Chef will work with any allergies to create a special dish! Thank you.
We love Flavour bistro and the chef Sean. Amazing food with unique differences that set it apart from other fine dining. If you want exotic, they have it also. I had kangaroo and loved it. The well drinks by the way are as unique and amazing as the food and ambiance and old black and white silent movie in the bar. It’s worth the drive from Bellevue and other Eastside areas of you want to explore other high end dining.
Have visited a number of times over the past year and this Gem in duvall always delivers. They have a standard set of dishes and a weekly fresh menu. This is a cozy and enjoyable restaurant that is hard to beat in the area for both food quality and ambiance.
Great place, really enjoyed the atmosphere. Quite pricey for the valley. The drink prices were truly insane. Mediocre wine selections at El Goucho prices. Really limits our desire to go back.
The food is innovative, edgy and very good.
Shhhh... don't tell anyone. OK you can tell your best friends. This place is a gem. Food was wonderful and the service and people were incredible. It is clear that it is a chef-owned and loved place. The chef met friends at the door, and then welcomed us. -then worked his tail off and still came by to check on us. Did I mention the food? Did I mention the staff? They changed our mistakes for us, inventing drinks and dishes on the fly. We had a fantastic evening for our first meal there and will be back again and again. In Duvall!
We have 6 in our party, we had 5 good meals and one that had to be sent back. The flaming duck breast was full of grissel and fat not worth the price.
Fantastic service, great food, I love this place. It is truly a gem.
Delicious food and fabulous staff. But the perfect volume on the live guitar music was especially delightful!
Worth the drive for an excellent dinner; we have eaten there twice. Food is imaginative but not weird; very tasty and reasonable portions. Had the medallions of pork loin with white beans both times. He had duck and ? the first time, NY steak last weekend. Ordered the excellent house red wine both times. Live guitar music is pleasant, not amplified to be overpowering: we can hear each other’s conversation comfortably. Service is friendly and attentive but mostly unintrusive: a big plus in my book. A great value; we will happily return.
My wife and I have come to this restaurant ~8 times - sometimes with our 12-year old, sometimes with adult friends. Generally everything has been okay, but most recently the service left my disappointed. I'd made a same-day reservation via OpenTable (so we could get the truffle popcorn). When we arrived to a relatively empty restaurant and said "Hi. we have a reservation" the hostess seemed surprised we were there. She looked around the stand for a bit, asked me if I was sure, then asked us to sit and wait. Five minutes later she returned to seat us in the bar. I brought up the confirmation on my phone, feeling I needed to proved that I had a reservation - she said "Oh, I'll speak to them..." The restaurant remained relatively empty during our entire 2.5 hour meal. Needless to say, it will be hard for us to return after such a poor reception.
Creative menu, food well prepared, attentive and friendly staff. A great dining experience.
My family and I always have a great dinner and they cater to kids, adults, special occasions or just the casual night out! This is such a must for anyone looking for a high-end meal at an affordable cost! We can’t say enough awesome things about this place! It’s one of our faves and it’s local!! Plus you won’t find a friendlier group of service individuals. From the Chef, to his hard working team behind the scenes, to Connie at the desk, Jorge and many others on the floor and Steve stopping by to be sure everything is going great! Thank You Flavour Bistro for making our experiences always the best they can be!
Another wonderful dinner at the Bistro. Chef Sean never disappoints. Try the salmon.
Anytime there’s a special occasion we make a reservation and go see what chef Sean is serving. Our anniversary dinner this week was amazing. Service, flavors, ambiance is all top notch.
The the interior was very nice, simple and elegant. The service was excellent, professional and pleasant and the food was outstanding. We have mercantile friends about our new "find," and are planning our next meal at Flavour Bistro.
Our second time there and again impressed!
The dungeonness crab fondue is a must!
I had the Ahi tuna and it was wonderful. My husband had the chicken nachata. The bananas foster was outstanding!
Each time I dine at Flavours is a culinary experience. The service, ambiance, food and drink are handsomely displayed and wonderful. Thank you for being so unique and interesting. It is more than a place to eat, it is an experience.
Spectacular! A foodie’s dream! Fantastic find in Duvall. The chef has a gift! A perfect blending of flavors. Nothing overpowers. Love the farm to table local support. This chef takes local products and transports them to other-worldly greatness! Highly recommend!
Next time, I want to try the Chef’s Table!
We were prepared for an experience but were disappointed. This was a holiday weekend and the place was dead, very few diners. Our waitress did not seem to be well suited to her job since she had very little information to offer about the selections available. Forced friendly sort of person. The food was varied and unusual. We selected 3 different main course meals since 2 of us had the same thing. I had the boar and was up all night with un unhappy stomach. This was a first and last time experience.
We LOVE Chef Sean Langan and Flavour Bistro! This cute place is an amazing find in Duvall! The food was amazing and our experience there is always awesome. Truffle popcorn, crab and artichoke dip! How can you beat these amazing creations. We drive from West Seattle and love this restaurant!
As usual the food was amazing! Great service as I've come to expect :)
Really excellent high quality food. Food prices a bit high end and coffee $5.00 seems a bit high but over all just a great place to eat and enjoy a special occasion.
Went for Mother’s Day Brunch to change up from going to Bellevue or Seattle. Had good reviews. The buffet was a solid good (need user-friendly chafing dishes where lid doesn’t fall off, though). Glad we tried it, but not racing back. Cute town and pretty drive (during day.)
Great variety of choices, many if which you won't find anywhere else. Great presentation, portions are more than adequate and service was not intrusive but attentive. We keep going back even though it is a 45 minute drive for us.
Our first time this evening. We ordered a williamette pinot and quite a few dishes to try the gamut of the Chef’s interests. Everything was tasty. The highlights, the grilled ceasar and the papardelle and lobster. We also took part in their 3 for $30 Wednesday special. This was excellent as a bargain promotion. The chef was friendly and social. The host, wonderfully engaging. They even created a non-alcoholic cocktail for my daughter. Other dishes we ordered, orange caprese, flaming duck (excellent, but a bit sweet for me), the curried shrimp, and the asparagus. Everything was tasty. I gave up on my duck dish and blended the rich duck into the spicy curry and WOW! I hope that ends up a future dish. So many good things about this place. Finally, a high end food experience close to home. :)
Fabulous gem of a restaurant. The chef and his staff are superb. I would highly recommend.
As always Sean and his staff were the perfect hosts. Love the creative menu and everything was done to perfection. One of our very favorite places to eat
Food was wonderful. My friends had the Chicken Nachatta - great “flavours”! I had the sesame crusted Ahi! We’ll be back!
Wonderful atmosphere, everyone was great! Interesting food. Tried the Cobra meatballs, yum! Can't wait to come back!
Took my girlfriend for her birthday with a party of eight. Our waitress was great and explained the menu in detail which was very nice. The food was great, very good. Party of eight and we all had different things and they all loved what they had. The music (live) as great. Not to load. Just right! Plan on going back again and again. Highly recommended!!
Some of the food and flavors were outstanding. Things went great until we got to the entrées. We were a big group of about seven and perhaps they aren’t well equipped for larger tables - they forgot one of the orders, another order came out ice cold and they had to remake it, and the stroganoff I ordered was real mediocre.
I wanted to love this place and it started out that way but finished really flat. Hopefully a few small tweaks and this place is great
Unique choice of options. Started with kangaroo appetizer which tastes similar to beef. Scallops and halibut entrees were very good. Price is a tad high but comparable to Seattle restaurants. Nice to have a great option without going to the city.
This is our favorite spot ever!! Everyone should try this place ♥️
