Flavor of India - West Hollywood
I like a little more flavor/spice to me Indian food.
One member of our party got very sick immediately after eating the fish biryani. Service was terribly slow.
It used to be great a few months ago when they first opened in this location, and went for years to their old location.
Sadly, not sure I would go back.
Food was fine but nothing exciting.
We ate the lunch combo and it was a good deal. Would have loved the rice in the lunch combo to be in some jeera rice or pulao form.
I love Indian food and I really love Flavor of India!
A genuine surprise. The food and the service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was our first visit to the West Hollywood branch of Flavor of India. We go all the time to their Studio City location. Everything was excellent, with the exception of the ladies' room toilet being stopped up but they didn't put a sign on and/or boarded up the door. I had to see for myself and promptly used the men's room after reporting the problem which no one addressed with much urgency. Kind of a not-so-good first impression. But then our friend arrived and we ordered food and all was well!
Overall we were not happy with our experience. When we entered, no one seated us or gave us any water. The waiter was rushing us to order and never came back to ask if we needed anything else. While we had just gotten our appetizers they began adding the main course as well and we felt very rushed. When asked about dessert, they said we had to get it to go because there wasn’t any time. The only person that was kind was the man who took the check from our table. The rest looked tired, unfriendly, and unapproachable. Will not return.
Great food, great service and very nice restaurant!
Best place ever! So happy they re-opened one on Sunset! Service is amazing and food is beyond delicious! :)
Everything seemed a little chaotic but the food was good. Not much in the way of ambiance.
One of the best Indian food restaurants in L.A. , the service & the food are AAA
