   The food and drinks were AMAZING! Me and my friend plan to come back and try all the food. It did get loud as the time went on, but that didn’t bother us at all.

   When I arrived there was no hostess and after tracking an employee down after 10+ minutes I was rudely given the excuse that the reservation system is down and that I could wait for a table if I'd like. I decided to wait as there were open tables easily visible and yet no one helped myself or any of the other customers waiting for a table. After finally getting seated after creating a minor scene I sat at my table for 30 min without being attended to by a waitress at which point I chose to leave. I had heard good things about the food and was interested in trying it, however, the service prevented it.

   We made reservations for Mother's Day. On arrival found that no online reservations had appeared on their computer. We expected them to be busy but they were also short staffed, only two waitresses....food was great, but waited almost 30 minutes for our food. Everyone was friendly and apologetic (except the person who delivered our food) for the delays. I would go there again.

   We made reservations to Flavor Hills to celebrate Mother's Day; upon arrival, we were greeted by a jam-packed restaurant campus with limited parking. However, the restaurant itself was easy to get off the road. Front of the House: There was a significant line awaiting service going out the door, and nobody was attentive to the front of the house for about 7-10 minutes. The reservation system was either down or malfunctioning, but upon providing an email receipt of our reservation, we were seated relatively quickly. The ambiance is a bit tight but intimate. Our server was warm and attentive but a bit slow due to the space's traffic. She did explain the likely time from food prep to table arrival would be about 25 minutes due to everything being made fresh. The menus are digital and accessible via a QR code. Due to the traffic and the location, however, the menu took forever to load, but there were paper copies on hand. Food: We started with the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls as an appetizer, which were hot and well prepared (house-made dipping sauce was spicy but had no flavor). My wife and I both ordered the "From the South" plate, which was comprised of fried chicken wings, mac and cheese, and collards. The five chicken wings were the dish's star, hot, crispy, and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was hot, with some noticeable hints of paprika. The collards were also hot and seasoned but not overpowering. Altogether a decent portion size, but per the cost, and in comparison to similar entrees at different restaurants, it was a bit short in value. Altogether this was a good experience, giving grace to account for it being Mother's Day, but certainly looking forward to trying it on a less populated day.

   We have been here multiple times, everything was ALWAYS great. Mothers day was a different story. I know that it was mothers day and a very popular brunch place, so we had some reasonable consideration to the situation, but this was something like no other. I made a reservation a week prior, and when we showed up, people were out the door waiting for reservations that had not been accommodated for over 30 minutes already. We waited 2 hours for a table when we had a reservation, the host passed over us 4 times when we were "next in line" and sat 4 different people before my wife finally said "I will never come back here again" to which we were promptly seated next. When we were sat, we were told the kitchen would be backed up, so we put our order in ASAP, asked for drinks. Drinks (kids water, sprite, and 2 waters) took 30 more minutes. 1 of our 3 appetizers came out with the kids food 45 minutes after that 30 minute wait for drinks. Then 15 minutes later another appetizer made its way out. And 30 more minutes after that, NOTHING. I got up and asked the manager to cash us out. We needed to pay for what we got and leave we have been here for 4 hours and not even had more than 2 drinks and gotten a nibble to eat. We were patient, we waited but it was unacceptable. I was told to hold on a moment, our food should be right out. But our 14 month old and 3.5 year old, who were VERY good for the 4 hours, were done, and so were we. I paid for ALL the food, was sent with my food HOME in TOGO boxes, to by the time I got home and was eating, it was soggy, nasty, and found its way into the garbage. As I said, we have been here multiple times, and never had this experience. This time was insanely unacceptable. We were not offered any considerations for the wait, for walking out without food. Nothing. Paid a full bill, and will most likely never set foot back in this place. If you make a reservation, beware, it might not be honored.

   This was the first time I have eaten somewhere where the bill for two people for brunch was over $100, and there’s no qualifications from the “chef” or kitchen staff to be such. The food wasn’t bad, but completely overpriced. $40 for steak and eggs, when it was about 10-12oz of a fatty piece of meat, also not cooked to your liking, and over beaten eggs… I mean, literally there’s no reason why that menu was so overpriced for “good” food. There’s so many better places, with real credentials like Michelin Stars or James Beard Awards, that may have an expensive menu, but you actually get what you pay for and it’s worth it. Honestly, it’s sad because the place has all the potential, but just not worth the price tag.

   They were out of the wings, got the pork chop instead. It was a little on the dry/tough side. Service was slow but it was busy and it didn’t appear to be many waitresses working. They were super nice and apologetic about it though. I’ll definitely go back, just not for the pork chops. The Mac n cheese had a good taste but was runny or loose.

   At first glance it doesn't seem like an actual restaurant until the food comes out and then the taste is out of this world good. I really wish they had a building that was similar to Ale House or an actual steakhouse because their food exceeds both of those places and taste and texture.

    I can't wait to go to Flavor Hills again. I got the honey butter biscuit sandwich and that was amazing along with the homefries that came with it. The prices were a little higher for smaller portions, but the food was really good. I will be coming back in the future.

    We had a reservation and were very excited to try this place because of all the great reviews we’ve heard. However, we were sat down at a dirty table while the people behind us who did not have a reservation were sat down at a clean table. They did not offer physical menus to us. When talking to the people they placed beside us they told them about the special of the day and more about the menu. However they couldn’t even get our drinks right and it wasn’t even that busy. Both my husband and I did not like the overall vibe of the place. It felt very judgmental and did not feel comfortable or relaxing.

    Our first time visiting. we had a reservation so we’re seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and able to make recommendations. Food was fresh and delicious. We will be back for another date night. Also, it is absolutely beautiful inside.

    I have brunch at Flavor Hills often. Never had an issue until this weekend. The waitress didn’t really know what she was doing, and was not very attentive. The pancakes were A-LOT smaller than usual, and there was hardly any blueberries on them. I got a side of warm blueberries after.

    We made reservations online for my 40th birthday drove from Cherry point over a hour drive and the place was closed I called no one answered the phone update your website if the business is closed or being remodeled

    We made a reservation and it was confirmed..got to the restaurant and it was closed. This website should be updated to reflect the actual hours for the restaurant. Someone could have called us and let us know that the restaurant was closed but instead we wasted our time and had to go somewhere else for dinner.

    Terrible service. Food was not good and very expensive. Garlic bread was $12. Soda $4 but couldn’t get a refill. Pasta was so greasy I had to soak it up with a napkin but still couldn’t eat it. Reviews did not match our experience.

    The food was good, but we had to wait over an hour to receive it. Apparently the kitchen was backed up…how??? Why??? The service overshadowed the quality of everything else. Also, the prices are crazy. They mention being veteran owned, but offer no discount.

    Overall brunch was great. We've eaten at Flavor Hill a few times. Each time it grows on me a bit more. I think what is my biggest dis-like is the loudness of the music. It is very hard to have a conversation with the people at your table.

    I enjoyed my $20 chicken sandwich and the sweet potato tots are deliciously covered in brown sugar and cinnamon. Aside from the California level price tag the food is good. The service is why we won’t be back.. both employees we encountered were clueless and made us feel unwelcome. It took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and over 10 minutes to get water after we were seated even though there was only one other table. They weren’t busy. The decor was beautiful but maybe a staff training day would be a better use of resources.

    Firstly we went to this restaurant 2 days in a row. The 1st visit was amazing and the 2nd not so much. I understand that cooks prepare food differently but it was nothing like we had the first visit. The food and flavor was awesome but the 2nd night just tasted like very basic fries and burgers. Needless to say, we were disappointed and it will be a while before we go back. I love the food combination though!

    Great food but the vibe inside is music that is too loud and a little tough on the inside of restaurant. Basically a drive through restaurant converted with a tile floor with a weird decor. Food is really good though.

    I cannot complain about the food. It is absolutely wonderful. Pricing is at the fine dining level (4.5 or 5 star) which is not this. Noise level is loud so if you are looking for a semi quiet breakfast or dinner - this is not it. People have to talk over the music. Service is seems overtaxed at times and slow as compared with when food arrives, attending to guest needs, etc. I have been there 4 times and it is the same. I will go back but it has drawbacks.
