Service was great. I like how they have a pizza up at the host(ess) station up front and they give out small slices to people as they arrive. Restaurant had good/fun atmosphere. I went there on a date and we got the Lobster Diavolo pasta and the pizza that had scallops, lobster and calamari. Both were very good. The pasta dish was big so unless you're very hungry, that could easily be split. We had more than half the pasta dish and a little less than half the pizza left when we were done.

Wish I had known about this place earlier and taken my family here for brunch the weekend before rather than going to Sequoia.

The filet mignon was very good, appropriately pink for medium. The gin martini and the Maker's Mark Manhattan were both good, although both were a little bit sweet for our tastes.

This restaurant has a fair menu. Waiting staff are kind but seem to have too many tables to take care of.
The hostess was disappointing - they weren't to thrilled to have us.
Attention could be better on this place.

Very pleasant

Our service was terrible. Not only were they not attentive, but I got the incorrect meal and had to wait and it took 20 minutes or more to get our bill. I know they were busy but it was unacceptable.

Flavio was excellent. From the simple grilled flatbread and oil, to the flavorful bruschetta, to the main course and all the way to dessert, the preparation was perfect, flavors and textures we’re scrumptious and the service was understatedly attentive. The mushroom ravioli was woodsy and hearty, the limoncello cake was light and bright, and the cannoli was out of this world. The bartender certainly knows what he’s doing too. The space is very open but not noisy - very easy to carry on conversation. First rate and highly recommended!

Visiting D.C. for a friend’s birthday and met other friends from the area at Flavio. One of the only restaurants that were accommodating to a large party (15) on a weekend in the D.C. / Georgetown area.

Service was fantastic - prompt and accommodating. None of us spent any time with empty glasses; they took our order quickly, and we did not wait long at all for our food.

Food was really tasty - but a few of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan which was a bit of a small helping - still delicious. Also, the fried calamari was delicious!

Overall, worth the price (large $10 glasses of Pinot Noir) and we would definitely come back when in the Georgetown area.

We always enjoy our visits to Flavio. The food is amazing. This time we had one of the best Lasagna's we've ever tasted! The Veal alla Limone was also outstanding. The ambiance is just what you'd expect from a popular and busy Georgetown restaurant, and the staff is outstanding! We are especially fond of Hamza, the owner/manager, who always takes the time to make us feel extra special. If you are seeking a place that is comfortable, casual, delicious, and reasonably priced, Flavio is the place you need to visit!

Lobster Pasta is the best!!!

The restaurant was packed! You could tell the staff was struggling to keep up, however, they made up for it in being attentive when possible and delivering a free dessert at the end of our meal. I’d definitely go back. Food was delicious.

Fun ambience but very slow service.

In town for daughters 18th birthday. Server was very friendly, fun atmosphere, but most of all the food was fabulous. Highly suggest the gnocchi, lamb chuck, wild mushroom ravioli. We also loved the appetizers os bruschetta, cheese plate, and calamari. The only thing that was good, but not great was the pizza.
It gets super busy around 7:30 so the earlier you go, the better service you get. Service started at a 5 and wnt down to a 3 because of the crowds.

Food was okay. Decent for kids. But we overheard our main waiter berating the busboy just because we asked the busboy for a dessert menu since our waiter was never around. He didn’t refill water, ask us about our meal and one of us didn’t receive the entree until well after the rest of our group. But, it was the meanness off the waiter to another staff menu that really rubbed us the wrong way.

Food is always good. Italian with a twist which makes it nice. Caesar Salad is a wedge of Romaine with very tasty dressing. We like to eat here for holidays with family. Great location to walk around afterward.

Delicious food, would recommend the lobster diavolo. Ambiance is really nice and the restaurant is very spacious. Service and attention was great. Only thing I wasn't pleased about was that it took nearly 30 mins to seat us, even though we had a reservation through open table.

Great chicken parmigian!

We had a large group (14) for a bachelorette party. They were very accommodating, the service was great, and we all enjoyed our food!

Gnocchi and Lobster Diavolo were excellent. Service was good.

Food was good. Our waiter seemed to be a little hard of hearing and messed up a few things with our drinks and food.

The restaurant appears good for a happy hour spot but I took a family member there and the food was very very salty. Also the drinks tasted..odd. Although I can’t quite place why. The server was quite nice though.

Flavio has become one of our favorite places to go for a night out. The food is good, service better than most and the vibe is very good. I think we will find ourselves here on a regular basis.

We are visiting DC for the first time and have 3 picky teenagers. so finding a place everyone likes is nearly impossible. Every member of the family absolutely LOVED their meal. Our 13 year old son called the margarita pizza the best he’d ever had. And my 19 year old daughter asked if we could come back again before we leave. We may have to do that. A great experience all the way around.

Food was wonderful - great portion sizes and flavors. We didn’t know ahead of time that it was pre-fixe, otherwise we might have selected another restaurant and saved a few bucks. Server wasn’t very friendly, told us to keep our silverware between courses, and quickly turned our table; we felt a bit rushed on an evening that should be relaxing. Ambiance of the dining room was a bit cramped. The candles on the tables were a nice touch. Didn’t think the music selection fit the occasion.

Server was very kind and attentive. Lobster diavolo was amazing and husband enjoyed his chicken alfredo. We plan to go back for my birthday dinner in May.

Our bottle of Wine never showed up second time...sure there was some left after pouring it once to 3 people. They were rushing to take your plates and bread. Not going back.

Food is so good!! We ordered the calamari and mussels for apps, probably best mussels I've had in forever. We ordered lamb chunk (lamb shank) for entree, it was amazing. We love this restaurant!
