The food was very poor quality for a high price. I actually have lost my appetite for the type of food I ordered there. The beer was the only thing that was good.
With our OpenTable reservation, we were given 3 rounds of the "free" potato chip snacks to take the edge off of our hunger, because our food arrived over an hour later. I think it was a management issue, because the kitchen obviously couldn't handle the not-full restaurant. Our waiter never explained why our food was taking so long. When I asked him, he told me to "calm down" and that the restaurant was "slammed," despite empty tables and no one waiting to be seated. We planned an hour-and-a-half for a nice birthday dinner ... and had about 20-minutes to eat. We paid our bill early so that we could get out faster once the food arrived. The food was good, but we weren't the only people wondering when our food would arrive. Apparently, this is what happens at this restaurant when there is a performance at the World Arena.
always a great place to eat.
Great food every time. Awesome service.
We went because of the Prix Fixe Valentines Day menu; however, the food and the ambiance was of low quality. The service was good.
Fish and Chips were great - served on a newspaper..:) Fish taco's were a little on the bland side -
though the fish was delicious - nice and flaky and the breading wasn't to thick. Kids bbq ribs were too spicy for 8yr old - we are a family that loves sharing each-others food so it really wasn't to big of a deal. Overall the food and atmosphere was casual.
Service was absolutely wonderful when we first got there and then a big rush came in we were lost in the crowd. It happens when restaurants get busy we understand that. One person can only do so much.
So if I could rate everything individually
The appetizer I ordered was steak tips with Brie and bread
I give it 5 stars. It was delicious
My main meal was a French dip. I give it 3 stars
Beef was very dry. The bread was soggy and it was loaded down with onions.
Overall I would say this place is more for bar food and drinks than a lazy dinner plan.
Salmon BLT was fantastic!
I brought my son and daughter-in-law to your restaurant for his birthday. I had never been there before and I was extremely happy with the friendly service, the amazing food and the cleanliness of your restaurant. I can assure you I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon
Sat in bar area. Lots of TVs to watch games. Enjoyed dinner without drinking cocktails as our choice. Good variety on menu. Have enjoyed Flatiron before. Will be back.
Good food, good service and reasonable prices.
Not a good place to eat. Place was somewhat dirty and uncomfortable. We won't be back
We always enjoy this place. Friendly service and outstanding food! Have had a variety of dishes here and are never disappointed. Will definitely go back again.
Just skip it. Food was mediocre at best. Service was ok. I had a pizza that was virtually inedible (greasy and bland) and to their credit it was removed from my tab without me having to ask.
Service was great, food was good but not great. Similar to going to Chili's.
Went for the prime rib, basically the only time we go to Flatirons. Had been busy so no yorkshire pudding left and only 1 serving of prime rib. Had specifically requested this when making the reservation. I had a flatiron steak instead and it was very good. My husband had the prime rib and couldn't eat it, said it was too tough.
We have been dining at Flatirons for several years and they remain our "go to " place for solid food. Service in the bar was excellent.
Limited menu, but the salads and salmon were great.
Great food. The flatiron steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were generous. Also great reviews for the quesadillas, bruschetta, and salmon Caesar. Great beer selection and friendly service. A delicious meal at a reasonable price
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my order. I requested a burger cooked medium. It was served very pink so I returned it. They then served it back to me (the same burger) still very pink. By then, everyone else at the table had finished their meal so I was not able to eat anything. They did try to make it up to me by giving me a gift card. However, I don't live there so will not be able to use the gift card. Very disappointing as it was the first meal in my weekend visit with my son.
Arrived early for reservation and they were very accommodating. Considered patio seating but storm was in the air. Enjoyed server, Maggie's attention. Even had more people come and they moved us to a larger table without issue. Enjoyed cocktails, beer and wine with appetizers and main courses. Will be back.
Service was stellar and the food was delicious. Had a party of 6 and it was no problem for the staff. Best Reuben ever! Chocolate cake was to die for. The steak burger was also delicious. Wont' go wrong here.
It's a nice sports bar/restaurant with moderate noise level. Service & drinks were excellent. The food however, was a disappointment. Steak too salty & overcooked (ordered nedium). Baked potato needed another minute or so in a microwave to cook properly. I'd recommend it for a small group of friends who want sports in TV and nice selection if drinks.
We had 22 church members who attended and I only received one complaint. He had fish and chips and he said that his fish was over-cooked and dry. I know others ordered fish and chips also, but I haven't had a chance to talk to them. We loved the patio! We do "lunch bunch" in our church during the summer months - you were our last stop for this summer, but we will definitely have you on the list of restaurants for next summer. Thank you to our waiter - he did a wonderful job serving all of us by himself.
So I had a meal here two times in a row. The first time was amazing, salmon burger and spinach. Yum.
The second time was good, but very heavy handed on the salt. I made a comment but nobody really picked up on it and I felt no empathy.
Overall experience was OK. I would eat here again when staying at the hotel but I would caution the wait person about the salt.
We had our Red Hat luncheon there. Waiter was very accommodating and pleasant. Food was good. I would recommend it.
We had a great time. This place is always consistent and the people who work there are really nice.
Very good. Good place to eat! Fish tacos are great!
The food and service was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Food was delicious! The restaurant was not busy, yet still had to wait an hour for food.
We were disappointed with the quality of the food. The potatoes au gratin were served with the cooked edge which was inedible. It seems the cheese was in slices instead of shredded so the consistency was not good and they lacked flavor. It seemed that bottled rather than house made sauce was poured over the ribs. It was obvious that the kids' chicken tenders were not freshly made. I'm sure they were frozen and heated in a microwave. The servings of coleslaw were small. We asked for extra cheese on the Reuben sandwich and did not get it.
Steak portion was disappointing tonight. Frites were not good. Scalloped potatoes were small portions. Flat iron steak was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the wait staff was wonderful and very friendly!
The salmon with artichoke asparagus hash was excellent!
Great GF menu, amazing burgers and wings, super casual. Would definitely go again!
Overall we had a nice meal. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
Not very busy on a weekend evening. Quiet. The food was good but not great.
The food was very good and the service was awesome. Ask for Aaron, he is a great server!!
Really didn't need a reservation, there was plenty of seating. It's also more of a sports bar than a restaurant.
Fabulous salmon salad! Greens were fresh, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the other ingredients were delicious! I dined in the bar and service was attentive and friendly. This is always a go to place when I'm in Colorado Springs.
