I went to Flatiron for dinner yesterday. I will not be going back. The entrees are ridiculously expensive without justification. I ordered the $17 hamburger which was nothing exceptional. The hamburger buns at McDonald's are of a higher quality and the patty was dry and burnt. My family members ordered the sliders, which were a very small portion, of poor quality, and overpriced, and the salmon with risotto, which could be described in the same way. If you are looking for upscale dining in Davidson, go to any other restaurant on Main Street, where you will receive better quality food for a lower price. Don't waste your money at this place.

Good place, consistently excellent food and friendly people. Wine list isn't extensive but has something for everyone. Bar has good choices and creative twists on traditional cocktails.

We were running late for our reservation, but no worries, we called and they held our table for us. The food was excellent, especially the octopus appetizer!

The pretzels were amazing. The coconut curry mussels were to die for. Totally see us returning to sit at the bar to watch football and try the craft beers. Service was professional and courteous.

Really enjoyed the food and wine, but it was a bit overpriced. Maybe if we had had beer, it might have seemed more reasonable. That seemed to be more their specialty. Still, a fun evening.

The duck Breast was amazing. I ask for the chef to prepare it their way and the whole plate rocked. So many flavors hitting my pallet at once. Highly recommended

My wife ordered the coffee crusted ribeye, and I had the NY strip steak. Both were excellent and prepared to temperature. The name Flatiron is definitely appropriate. The chefs made cauliflower (which I do not generally care for) taste great by browning it and adding seasonings. The craft cocktails were also extraordinary; we even stayed after dinner for a second one. This was only the second or third time we had been to Flatiron, and the other times we were not nearly as impressed. This restaurant will definitely be added to our rotation on a more regular basis.
