We chose the Flatiron for its closeness to our hotel. The menu was varied. We shared the buffalo chicken spring rolls appetizer; my son had the burger royale and I had the fish tacos. The tacos came with hard shell tortillas, which made them more difficult to eat. Our biggest problem was the music level. Much too loud for such a small space. My son is 23, and it bothered him as much as me. We didn’t stay for dessert because of the “noise”.
We had a good experience, and an attentive server. The food had good flavor, but my burger was undercooked. I ordered well done and it was medium rare. The flavors were good and the server was not immediately present, so I just ate it. Even though my burger was undercooked for my taste, I would definitely eat at Flatiron Hall again.
The millennials are loud and the acoustics don't help but the food and service are terrific. The fish tacos are the chicken sandwich are worth a trip.
Had to send a burger back twice as very undercooked. Waitress made it clear she was also not happy with the chef! Waitress good / chef bad. Venue was ok but not good for kids as it is more bar than restaurant which isn’t that clear.
The Women's restroom has no hook for coats or bags and no table to put a pocketbook on. It is a large room, so couldn't they go to IKEA and get a small table and/or a coat rack?
Good bar food. Quiet at lunch when not busy.
Impossible to enjoy conversation due to noise level. Will not be going back, which is a shame because the food was good.
It's a good middle ground for friends meeting from two different areas of the city. The drinks are good and the food is good too. I like that they have options for different dietary needs. It is ususalyl very busy after work so it's loud, but it's a fun atmosphere.
Friendly staff with a good sense of when to approach us. Service was outstanding. However, can't say the same about the food. Fries were luke warm at best and burgers were cold, as if they were cooked and left sitting while waiting for another item was prepared for our table. Good news was they brought us replacements.
Great food. Great server. Too loud to hold a conversation
If you are in the mood for a fun loud spot with good food and good drinks this is the place for you.
First time to flatiron. Great lunch and staff. Will be back again.
Great for beer!................................................................Burgers are Ok.....................................................................................................................................
We enjoyed the food, the service, and the lively atmosphere!
Very good bar food and drinks. Quiet at lunchtime but might be noisy when more crowded.
Burger was great but the noise level was off the charts. We had to yell at each other across the table. Also the tables were extremely small.
Our server was fabulous, as was the bus "boy".
Good place to meet friends. Menu could use a few more vegetarian/healthy items, but overall it is a good pub menu. I will definitely return.
Love the food here a great quick go to place for any size group. Good food, music and service.
Good spot good music
Loved the beer selection, apps and sandwiches. Great place to meet up with a group to relax.
I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! My family had a wonderful, delicious meal here. Great way to start off our NYC trip!
Cool place to meet a friend for a few beers after work or a nice weekend hangout spot. Kinda loud but that’s what you expect at a beer hall
Great bar for a causal date night or boys/girls night out. They have TVs so if you're into sports that works great!
The waiters/waitresses really gave me a family/friend vibe. Made sure we didnt over order because the portions were big. They recommended different beers and food. Even gave us samples.
It wasnt a busy Friday night so we got to sit anywhere but if you're a tall guy/girl or your significant others or friends are, some of the tables can be short for their knees. So aim to get there early for a high seat.
Great spot!
amazing as usual. super loud today though. many group of more than 6 everywhere. but it's a pub setting anyways.
I love their beer especially chocolate one. with their nachos and burger. yum
I had a great time at this restaurant with my family on our short trip to New York. There is nothing much special about this restaurant but there is nothing negative at all. I recommend this restaurant for casual drinks with friends or colleagues.
It was insanely noisy. Seems like a great place for late 20 somethings and early 30 somethings to grab a drink and maybe some bar food.
It was dope
2nd time here. excellent!! i was served by the same waitress. she's awesome!!! food. i had their fried chicken sandwich again. so good. so addicting. beer. i had again chocolate stout and red ale
we had their in house beers and they were good. fried chicked sandwich and mac&cheese were excellent too. the server was amazing. we really enjoyed and probably stayed about 5hrs until they were about to close the place.
Fun but very loud. Great beer. Must try the pretzel.
First rate bar food and service.
Burger wasn’t the best ever, but it was good, and $12 burger + beer (craft beer at that!) is an amazing value in NYC for lunch.
Nice place, average food, a bit noisy.
Glad we chose Flatiron randomly on open table. It was close to the hotel and Madison square garden. Great casual fun setting Thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and drinks. Waitress was attentive and helpful.
Went there for Super Bowl. It was great as it wasn’t insanely packed. Not the biggest fan of their wine offerings, but if you like a good beer and a hearty burger with a fun vibe it’s the place to go. I had also visited on a Friday night previously and that was packed to the core!
Our server was very attentive despite how busy he was. Food and drinks were tasty too.
Best fried pickles in the city!
There is a lot of space. I was really surprised given its midtown location. We made a reservation as we were arriving around 7, but I don't know if that was necessary. A table had been reserved for us. We had space and weren't really sitting on top of anyone. It was a little loud; I had trouble hearing my friend diagonal from me. Beer was delicious. I'm glad we were there during Happy Hour as beer prices are a little expensive. My friends had the Steak Frites and Fish and Chips, which they thought were fine. My friend with the Fish and Chips was expecting a traditional slab of fish, but the fish is served fried in smaller pieces. I had the house-made veggie burger and thought it was sensational! One of the best I've had since I've been a vegetarian. Our server was great; made sure we always had drinks and water but also left us to chat and catch up. It was a wonderful experience. I really loved the space- the cute booths and wood floors. I think it's a great place to meet when people are coming from different boroughs. We will be back.
I frequent The Hall 2 times a month. Although the lunch menu prices are pretty steep outside of the burger special, the food all-around is pretty good! Love the decor and that they brew their own beers with so many to choose from! I definitely recommend them.
