Awesome service and great food!
We sampled three types of marguerita pizza and were not disappointed! Mushrooms, fennel sausage and cheeses all high quality.
Service is excellent and pizza very tasty - really enjoyed the “Friday night energy” with a table by window, overlooking downtown Boise.
My parents were in town for the weekend from rural Idaho. My Dad recently had hip surgery so we try and find him a comfortable spot. The space was perfect and he was comfortable on the chairs. We had Brock as our server and he was fantastic! At times I saw him literally running to keep the customers happy. And as always the happy hour was such a great deal and were not sneaky about when it was ending. Thanks for the wonderful evening!
My 12 year old daughter and I brought a friend visiting from NYC. I wanted to show her Boise in a relaxed atmosphere with great food. Sitting in the corner window gave us the view I as hoping for, and as always, the food was fantastic. Our waiter was friendly and funny and everything we needed. I love this place and now, so does a New Yorker.
My family and I ate at Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria - Boise on Saturday, December 16, 2017 prior to Ballet Idaho's "The Nutcracker." Our original reservation was for 5:00 PM, and thankfully the restaurant even though packed was able to negotiate our time slot. We were beyond grateful!
We always order the Baked Goat Cheese with Fire-Roasted Tomatoes for our appetizer, and are never disappointed.
The kid's menu is great; in this case my niece had the Pasta Bolognese with a Meatball. The food is great, and the portions are more than enough for my hungry 8 year old.
The rest of my group had standard flat breads and salads; however I went out on a limb and ordered Bisteca Pappardelle and I regretred that decision. The sauce was broken, the steak was chewy, and the mushrooms tasted canned.
The view from the restaurant is amazing you can see up and 8th and Main. The staff is friendly, cordial, and professional.
We went for my daughters birthday. They were very accommodating to my grandson who was a little picky . Food was great and the ambiance was fantastic. One of the best places downtown to take a family for dinner. Reasonable prices as well.
We loved the atmosphere of this place. It was so cozy and comfortable. The food was really good too. My only comment would be that I love veggie pizza and my veggie pizza had very few veggies on it. I'll remember to ask for extra next time.
Flatbread is always a good choice! We love the kids build your own pizza and the food is consistently awesome. I don't think we have ever had a meal we did not like.
We came in with a large group (in town for soccer tournament ) and staff was super accommodating and set us all up together!
Our server was amazing!!! We split the checks up and he kept it so organized!
Great time all around!!! Highly recommend!
Awesome! They took great care of my son, his date and friends for homecoming!
Expected a pizza joint and found so much more. It was a delightful night for me and my wife. Great food, wine and service! We will be back again and again.
I have eaten here several times, however this time the Gluten Free pizza was crispy and superb! Best that I have had so far!
Excellent service! Our waiter made menu recommendations, and the food was delicious!!
Great service from Rebecca, delicious appetizers and creative cocktails! Get a table by the window for an all-around relaxing, interesting experience!
This was my first experience at Flatbread and I will be back. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi. It was delicious. My daughter had the lasagna which was a nice sized portion. My complaint would be the food was almost cold. If needed to be served much warmer. I ordered the bruchetta as an appetizer the portion was very small. Would not get that again. Overall great experience. Craving the Gnocchi already!
Pizza and bruschetta were good. I would stay away from the fondue and the wedge salad was so so.
Great food and our waiter was super fun.
Flatbread is a restaurant that worships starch, carbs and more starch. It is almost impossible to find anything on their menu that is not made with starch, served with starch, or utterly devoted to the adoration of starch. Their motto should be Starch-R-Us.
Flatbread serves mostly pizzas (and more pizzas). What is not pizza still partakes of their single-minded devotion to the pursuit of starch. Making up your own pizza requires strict attention to the menu since some ingredients are considered "premium" and will run up the price in a hurry, like some types of cheese or truffle oil. This is fine as long as you know in advance. Otherwise, you could be in for a surprise.
Flatbread prides itself on healthy ingredients, which makes its sheer devotion to starch seem odd. I have eaten there three times and been underwhelmed each time. The service is young and not particularly helpful or impressive. They tend to rush you and they expect you to know the menu as well as they are supposed to, even though they are not really conversant with it either.
As long as you do things their way, and just act happy to do so, Flatbread is fine. Thinking outside the box is not encouraged. This means eating there can be frustrating unless you conform. Good luck.
Reliable, good. love the view. On this occasion the background music was so perfect.
Valentines dinner with my two daughters. They love the place. Awesome pizza and lasagna.
Awesome food! Awesome server! Clams tastes wonderful, bread was crisp, flavors were put well together. Great atmosphere!
As usual, we had good service and good food at Flatbread. Their Happy Hour prices and selections are great. The only downside to the evening was that they did not have our Open Table reservation in their system and assumed I had made the reservation at their Bown location, which I had not. They did find us a place to sit after a short wait.
My husband and I were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. It was a very nice evening and we enjoyed the food. We did miss the stuffed mushrooms that used to be on the menu, but the prawns were a good second choice.
This was our first visit to the downtown Flatbread since they moved to their upstairs location. While not as cozy as the original, we thought the vibe was great - loved the wood stacking system. The pizzas were good, as always. Kale salad was awesome. Wines flights were fine, just not as good as we've had in other pRts of town.
We've been to nearly all of the Flatbread restaurants in town and enjoy each of them for their varied ambiance. The food is always consistent. I think we personally like the one in Meridian the best
Flatbread is consistently good - we love their appetizers and could easily make a meal for two out of three appetizers.
The staff is always friendly, and the food is always really good. The prices are reasonable especially during Happy Hour when you can save significantly on food and drinks. I have yet to have a negative experience here.
Horrible service and food was cold
Always come here when we visit Boise.
There are good gf choices on the regular menu. Their pizza and flatbreads can all be made gf for an up charge. I also had the fondu with gf pita pieces which was very good.
The antipasto platter and cheese fondu were fantastic! There were delicious gluten-free options for those who can't eat gluten. Alfredo the Great is our favorite pizza. You can't beat the butterscotch banding for dessert. The only complaint would be that we were given a table that would comfortably seat 6 for our party of 9 so it was a little cramped. And dessert took awhile to get out because the "kitchen was backed up." But the food was fantastic and the service staff was great!
Me & seven of my friends kicked off our New Years Eve at Flatbread. Our waitress was awesome, very knowledgeable. Two of us,including myself, are gluten free & we also had a dairy free member. We were all able to eat,and the food was excellent. Their gf crust is one of the best I've ever had. And they had goat cheese,so my df friend could have the complete pizza experience. We of course had drinks, & my blood orange margarita was to die for. When my sister's mojito wasn't strong enough, our waitress brought her 3 shots to make it better, & it did! Thanks Flatbread for helping us kick off 2014 in such a delicious way!
Flatbread never disappoints! Get the wedge salad the candied bacon is to die for.
I had just come to Boise and decided to try this place as I usually like Italian. The waitress came to our table and was upbeat and friendly, which was really nice. My boyfriend and I tried pronouncing the pizza names in Italian since we started learning the language, and explained it to the waitress. So she decided to give us a real Italian treat and serve everything to us the way they would in Italy. Real hand-stretched dough, imported Italian cheese, (which they always do with their signature pizzas) and didn't slice them (she did give us knives though). The food was mouthwatering and delicious. The crust wasn't too thin, the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect and the toppings were so fresh. Overall, it was just a fantastic experience.
We had a birthday party at the restaurant. I picked a Sunday night thinking it would be slower. But the restaurant was packed, so the service was a little slow. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed. But the food was very good, and everyone had a great time in spite of the noisiness. We will be back.
It's nice to return to a place and have a waiter from another section greet us because he remembered us for a few weeks ago. He even talked about how we ordered the same dessert as last time. Nice touch!!
Great place to bring anyone, something on the menu for everyone. The Salads are always fresh and they have a variety. The service is always very friendly.
Always have a great time at flatbread, been going for 4+ years, enough that we call our Friday lunch group; Flatbread Friday.
Best flat bread pizza in the area! Interesting wine and beer choices. The salad's are great and not at all an after thought as you find in some pizza joints.
My wife and I came here with a gift card. It made for a perfect dinner for our evening together.
