Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria Ratings and Reviews
We visited on a recent Saturday night with our 2 and 3 year old kids. I was THRILLED to find out I could make a reservation. No more waiting for a table! Their build your own pizza model for kids is great - kills a bunch of time and keeps the kids happy. Would have been nice to have gotten some paper and crayons which we got at a recent lunch time visit.
Loses one star because the pizza was pretty charred on the bottom this visit. And also because I feel like it's so expensive. The tab was over $50 for a salad, two kids meals, one pizza and one beer.
On the expensive side, charging very high prices for beverages that cost a fraction of the cost at a neighboring location.
Food is great!!! Server at the bar was AMAZING!!!
We made online reservations a few days in advance, arrived about 5 minutes early; open tables all over the place but we were some how going to have to wait 20 minutes for a table???? So, we took a table in the bar and received amazing service from the bartender, but can't say the same about the other service staff. We couldn't get a table?? It made zero sense that the hostess said we couldn't have a table and this has occurred other times we have been there. Very slow on the service as well, minimal people were in the restaurant and some how took over an hour to get our food.
Advice: Sit in the bar, great waitress, incredibly nice lady, and apologized for the very slow process in the kitchen. She saved our experience, otherwise we would never return.
Phoned in reservation but was denied since they closed reservations before 2pm on Valentines Day. Jumped on open table app which to my surprise I was given many reservation times to pick. My baby girl was celebrating her 15th birthday since she's s valentines day baby and Flatbread was her choice for her celebration. Big thank you to open table for getting my reservation for our big celebration.
We love this place and go every time we're in Bend. Its great for families and groups, something for everyone, and the wood oven pizza is very good. Food and service have been consistently good until our last visit (not associated with this reservation) when our order was full of errors, without any acknowledgment or apology. It took 35 minutes just to get the pizza kit for my son, then another 25 for it to get baked and bring my happy hour pizzetta. They were not full or understaffed. We stopped for a 'quick' dinner after skiing before the drive home but it took us NINETY minutes to get a kid pizza, salad, and pizzetta, and the 'warm cookie' was cold. This visit was totally different from all previous visits, so hopefully all server error. We'll be back, but I'll be proactive about the service next time.
We love this place, however, the food (besides the yummy pizza) was only so-so. Steak salad was just OK and the lasagna did not have enough layers of pasta for my liking. We will be back because we love the vibe and the location. Service and drinks were top notch!!
Pizza done right! We love the pizza at Flatbread . . . the crust is perfect, the toppings are interesting and spicy enough to keep me happy. There is a good variety of cocktails - try the Blood Orange Margarita! - and a nice selection of beers on tap. You may want to finish up with a nice little dessert. The Butterscotch Budino is amazing. Thanks for a fun night!
My husband and I ordered one Neapolitan pizza and a half salad to share. It was tasty and just the right amount of food for two not-so-hungry people. Our daughter had a flatbread pizza and ate about half of it. Our grandson had a kid's pizza and loved it. The place is popular and, as a result, fairly noisy. We would return.
Our group of friends includes two Celiacs, and this place has the best GF pizza in town. High quality toppings and interesting combinations. If you are looking for a giant greasy pizza loaded with c*ap, this place is not for you. If you are looking for traditional Italian flavors, and some creative combos, and like a bit of char on your wood fired pizza (I do!), you will love it!
