Second visit to Flanagans I like it very much on both occasions. Had the pre movie offer. My husband had the steak w d rated it highly. I had salmon was very nicely done. Their baked Brie was a lovely starter too. Service is friendly and efficient and wait time not too long. I’m sure we will return again when in Dublin.
It's a cosy place in the city that does more "traditional" meals. They do rare right.
Verging on nostalgia the restaurant itself is a reminder of youth to many.
The staff are lovely. I hope they're paid well.
Overpriced and food average More like pub grub. Little black flies everywhere (from potted plants). Could do with a makeover.
Food is pretty good but services was pretty terrible
Went to Flanagans with a friend home from England. Food was beautiful. We will be back
Super service, very friendly staff. The best steak I have ever had
The food was kind of basic. Nothing special. The steak was way overcooked. The mixed grill of meats apparently my friend who ordered it said the chicken liver was horrible; worst he's ever had. Nothing special for all the raves it was getting online and all the advertising pieces we saw.
Food was wonderful as was the service. Perfect for our first dinner in Ireland.
A great restaurant good good and we'll locatedhave eaten here many times and will continue to every time In dublin great and attentive staff
WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN STAFF VERY PLESANT FOOD EXCELLENT
Lovely atmosphere warm welcome quick service and great food
Our whole party were extremely impressed with the friendly, helpful service and will return based on that alone!! Thank you
Very poor quality food and service. No ice with cold drinks, no tartare sauce with scamp. Served very poor presentation. Special did not have all ingredients listed on menu. We were very disappointed charging bistro prices for cafe service and quality.
Very friendly server, did not rush us but knew when to approach table
If in the area, I would recommend this restaurant. However I would not go out of my way to eat there. Service was good. Food was good.
Service was fast and efficient despite the fact it was busy early Saturday evening. All in all a pleasant dining experience.
Always one of my favorite treats when we go to Dublin, I wouldn’t look anywhere else, food, service, setting and atmosphere is perfect, also it’s spotlessly clean for such a busy restaurant.
I thought this was a lovely restaurant. However the plaice was more batter than fish. However, the service was excellent especially in relation to gluten free options. Although it wasn't on the menu when my sister said she was looking for a chicken dinner they managed to make her one without the sauce. Although gluten bread was just undern£4 for one slice.
The food was not outstanding but average.
It was very crowded en there were people waiting for a place to be seated. This is where the manager did not know how to guide his personell. None if the waiters knew exactly what their job was....pitty
It was a most enjoyable meal
We were looked after well
Very good value
Staff were lovely and food was excellent
Really lovely food and atmosphere. Good value particularly as Dublin is so expensive!
Great value lunch menu, friendly staff who are happy to help. Always busy great food and great service
Lovely envornment, amazing food, had the valentines set menu which was great value for money, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Would definitely go back next time I’m in Dublin!
Lovely restaurant with good choice of menu. Staff were excellent and very accommodating.
Lovely food, quick service and good atmosphere. Really enjoyed it
Amazing Restaurant, Great food and drink would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin. Left truly satisfied after finding this amazing restaurant!
Ordered the pesto chicken pasta which was bland and tasteless and chicken was dry. Very disappointing.
Partner had goats cheese burger and chips which he was not impressed with.
We visited on new years eve which was very busy you could see the restaurant had took too many bookings and staff weren't organised for it at all. Partners food order was taken incorrectly. Poor service and rushed. Would not recommend or be visiting again. Waste of money. Would prefer going to McDonald's than going here.
Always a good place to eat with very well made food and a nice atmosphere and lovely servers.
Waitresses try their best, they are attentive and smiley, unfortunately food disappointed us very much.
I really expect to have Irish stew in Irish restaurant look and taste like a stew and not like a watery broth with carrots :-/
The main course of the meal was not great for 2 of the 3 of us at the meal but we did tell the waitress and the manager came and spoke to us discreetly and listened very well to our complaint. I really appreciated that service and attitude and it would make me go back in the future. The desserts were gorgeous and we had a very comfortable sitting area.
Great food, arrived promptly. Brilliant service!
We were a party of 8. Wasn’t happy to find service charge of 15% automatically added to the bill if you were party of 8 or more. We always tip but feel annoyed when an automatic service charge is added rather than at our discretion. To make things worse 2 of our meals were very poor. The Irish stew had awful fatty lamb and another meal was dry salmon and cold potatoes and veg which must have been microwaved. Our other dishes were ok and they did deduct one meal value but wasn’t the best dining experience
Two course dinner was great value! I love the flip over lights to attract attention from the wait staff. Chef could maybe season with a heavier hand, but that's a minor niggle. Had a lovely time and will be back!
Service was good and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was good especially the steaks. Overall it was very enjoyable. I would recommend the restaurant.
great food fast service lovely staff . The food was very good x
We booked a table for mum's 80th birthday. We brought her to Dublin from England as a treat. The food was lovely and the service was spot on. Loved the table lights that alerted the staff if we needed anything ( original).
Nice restaurant right in the cenre of O Connell Street offering a good variety of dishes at a reasonable price.
The food was average, very little if any info on suppliers, provenance, etc. Cheap ingredients was the overall opinion. However we had a very comfortable table, were well looked after by attentive, friendly staff and not rushed out after the last mouthful which is the way in so many Dublin restaurants.
Good location, good portions, good geeeting, good service, good value.
