   Lovely food and great service!! The presentation of the food was great… and my steak was rare as requested! The meals were not cheap but the quality and serving size was really good.

   Food was good, staff attentive but the doors were open due to outdoor dinners & the wind cold. (They did close the door when asked after most dinners outside had gone) Certainly not what I would classify as a restaurant though. I'd liken it to calling McDonalds a restaurant! I do live close by & may consider calling in for a drink but not another special night.

   We had a lovely dinner sitting outside. The food was excellent. Our waitress was so kind and looked after our requests to get the kids fed early and went out of her way to make sure we had a great evening. We look forward to returning again soon.

   Staff at this place are amazing. They go out of their way to be helpful. Food is served hot and is very tasy.

   Service was amazing and the staff are really friendly and helpfl. I had hald a dozen oysters and at $24 for the serve, they were really small. Not good value at all. For my main, I had a really good sized steak, and it was cooked medium rare as requested, but it was nearly cold by the time it got to me. Disappointing. There was another large group there that had kids running around and staring at other patrons, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault!

   Great service and meal options. Very quick. Food quality was of a very high standard. I recommend.

   There was dirt in the vegetables that came with the salmon which was disappointing as I expect that all vegetables are washed before being cooked, steak was overdone (ordered medium rare and it was close to well done). Seating by window overlooking the pool was nice but overall the meals were a bit pricy. Service was quick but wouldn’t eat here again.

   The staff were lovely great service, flame trees is a lovely spot we love it during summer when we can sit outside unfortunately the food wasn't as great as previous times, the parmas and steak sandwiches were good but not great the salad was lovely the buffalo wings were really tasty but would of been great to have a dipping sauce. We did have to send a fish back as it was inedible but they still tried to charge for it even though the chef agreed it wasn't up to standard. Generally though the food here is lovely so we will definitely go back.

   Tomato mussels toast came with the burnt side hidden, and the sauce overpoweringly salty that I had to to send the entire dish back. Common sense would dictate that they would rush the replacement dish but by the time it came everyone else had already finished their meals. It was extremely extremely disappointing and not worth the price and anguish of waiting for the replacement dish. When the replacement dish it pretty much fell flat, wasn't delicious unlike many of the better options we had while around Phillip Island, or at Melbourne. Service staff unsure where menu options are in their point of sales system, and did not ask for doneness of steak. Would avoid given the poor quality. A pity given it's a restaurant located within a hotel. No discount or goodwill or apology was tendered at the end of the meal.

    I recently visited Flametrees Bar and Restaurant, and while it wasn’t the coziest spot, it still provided a comfortable setting for a meal. The highlight for me was definitely the food—the dishes were flavourful, and the portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable, which made the overall dining experience quite pleasant. If you're looking for great food with good service, Flametrees is definitely worth checking out.
