Food was OK, steak was a little tough,
service was very good
price little high
Great food, atmosphere & service was very professional. Thx for a great fancy lunch!!
A very nice steak house with comfortable smaller rooms so the noise level is not too loud and we can hear our guests' conversations. Steaks are prepared as ordered and very flavorful. The sides were also perfectly cooked, not mushy. The onion rings were a nice surprise. They were not like other places with big puffy batter, but really crisp and crunchy. A very nice wine selection. The wait staff is very attentive.
Victor our server made this meal. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive. Food was good but the service is why I would go back in the future
We were there for restaurant week. While the main entrée was very good, the sides were bland. Also, the waiter was not very friendly. Additionally, he not once came to the table to see if we needed anything, other than to order dessert.
Great service, good food. Casual dress. Worth a visit!
Always great, friendly service. It's a local steakhouse that deserve community support.
Steaks need more seasoning.
Great find! Excellent dinner!
Birthday gift for this girl I’m dating. Hands down the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Staff was awesome also
Have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've had at a steakhouse in Westchester. Not only was the steak cooked perfectly, the sides were amazing as well. Will definitely go there again when I have a chance!
Located in an unassuming building on route 119 in Westchester, the steakhouse is staffed by a proud group of young men who enjoy their job and the food they serve. The portions are good. The temperature and finish of the food is good and the flavor is excellent. The wine list is solid. The menu has choices for people who like steak with the usual side dishes, but the Bronzino happens to have been excellent as well. I think they should take a second look at their desserts however. This is a good choice if you are asked to think about where you can go tonight and have to come up with something good on the spot.
Excellent meal. Particularly spectacular steak. A great space.
Very courteous workers
Food came out just the way we ordered it
It was a very special day for my friend
The prices are very excessive with the seafood tower, and on par with the entrees to other steakhouses.
The steak was cooked to perfection. Had the green bean salad which was one of their specials but it was delicious as was the entire meal. Will definitely return!
It was the best steak weave ever had. A little pricey
We've eaten at the original Flames and it was always amazing. Understanding it was the same owner, we wanted to try it. Unfortunately, amazing is not the case with this Flames. This steakhouse is in a strip mall with a pizza restaurant attached. It is very expensive, more so than Benjamin's or BLT, with far less ambiance or tasty steaks. We were one of two tables occupied on a Saturday night and they still got our order wrong. They rectified it immediately, but that didn't make up for the quality of the food. The drinks were at least $15.00/each - not fancy cocktails, just vodka and soda, etc. The quality of the food is what you would expect in a strip mall, the price is not. We won't be returning.
From the time we walked in to be seated the service was great. Plenty of items to choose from on the menu along with some suggestions from our waiter.
We where very pleased with the food and the service. It was a nice quite evening for my wife and I topped off by great food.
Looking forward to our next trip there.
Great place and great food! Service was impeccable will dine again
Our first visit to Flames in Elmsford, was greeted & seated as soon as we walked thru the door.
Our server was professional, had full knowledge of all of the specials, and although this was an afternoon lunch celebrating our wedding anniversary quietly, we were cared for with precision.
MY T-Bone was cooked to perfection and detail throughout our lunch was present.
We really enjoyed our first time here and will plan on going back for dinner next time!
Fresh food, cooked with care. A warm welcomed feeling, Flames is a win win!
We got the porterhouse steak for 2. I asked that it be cooked to Medium. It came out perfectly. The steak was very tender. I would recommend Flames to my my friends.
Excellent food and waitstaff
Great service food was outstanding and great value. Parking on street. Really enjoyed everything we ordered
Food was good, albeit pricey, especially given the location in Elmsford’s main corridor. The standout here was the impeccable service from the staff and the precise cooking i
Of the steak- just as ordered..
A real old school NY steakhouse.
Great and helpful service and Peter Luger style sirloin.
Not Luger’s but very close-
And close to home!
Fathers Day dinner. First visit. Porterhouse bland and tasteless, as was creamed Spinach and ‘garlic’ mashed. Calamari was very good though.
We went for father’s day and it was fantastic! Food was amazing and service was excellent.
Never a bad experience! Quality of food always its best
Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Flames on 5/29. Porterhouse was cooked perfectly.
This was my second visit to flames restaurant my first visit was with my girlfriends for my birthday at that time I had decided I would come back with my husband. This visit was with three couples that absolutely loved everything from the beginning to the end. Our service was impeccable the food was delicious my husband had the Tomahawk steak the bone on that steak had to be 8 inches long. Everyone said it was worth the money because everything was perfect. Don’t waste your time at Benjamin’s just go to flames to have a wonderful evening
Food and service were outstanding. Staff was attentive, making certain that we were happy without being intrusive.
Had thg porter house for two and it was delicious! NYC steakhouse prices and quality without the hassle of NYC. I'll be visiting this place again for sure!
Simple decor yet very elegant. Not my first meal there, but it was for my guests. Great restaurant where great conversation, food, and service go hand-in-hand.
Noise level was beyond belief!!!!!
The ribeye was really tough to cut and chew
I like the service best here. Good group of staff working together. They like their own menu and serve the table attentively. Portions and food quality solid. Ambience is friendly and warm. (I grade tough here bc it’s not elegant...but it’s also not stuffy ) Price on the ribeye a bit steep and even some appies are a bit much. Dessert tray okay but not wow. They do steak and even fish well. Solid core menu items. Good choices.
Excellent food but very overpriced for Elmsford.
Honestly feel bad about this low rating - Flames is an excellent restaurant, I have been numerous times and found it to be outstanding. But I would not go back during restaurant week - we did not order off of the Restaurant Week menu and the entire experience was greatly lacking. I understand that they may have had a slew of walk ins but I learned a lesson about Restaurant Week...
This was my first and last visit to Flames. After we were seated, we were ignored for close to 10 minutes. No water and no menus - we just sat. Finally, given menus and the wine list we ordered from the very narrow choice Restaurant Week menu. The food was ok, but nothing exceptional. If you plan on drinking wine, be sure to bring a mortgage. Wine prices are outrageous - more than NYC. Sorry - the place ain't worth it. The only redeeming course was dessert - the apple strudel was quite tasty.
Sorry Flames, there are many better alternatives in the area.
Extremely attentive wait staff. Was there for restaurant week. Food was delicious and portions were a decent size, unlike many steakhouses during that week. Want to try their pasta dishes next! I'll be back.
