   Eight of us went for a great meal with steaks and wine. First two cab wines we tried to order from their wine selection were not available and we settled on a Pinot with the appetizers. Tried to order a cab with 8 steak entrees and the next two choices were also “unavailable”. We gave up after that since the wine selection menu was a work of fiction. If you are keeping track, that is one wine out of five that were available on the primary wine menu when ordered. Steaks had great flavor but were luke warm when served. Our bill was $1000+ with salads, sides, and tip. There must be a better restaurant in Springfield when a group wishes to celebrate and spend serious dollars.

   Was there for MSU graduation May 19, 2023. This was my third time…but first in the lower level…and we Loved it! Serious reduction in noise level and very intimate downstairs. My folks are a bit elderly, but did ok on the steps. Upper floors can be a little noisy at times and sometimes a little smokey from cooking. Hannah was our dynamite server and she was about as good as it gets! We had a couple food allergies and some wine enthusiasts in our party of 9, and she handled all requests like a pro!

   This was our first dinner experience in this restaurant. It is on the premium side but worth the value. It was our sons college graduation and it was perfect place to celebrate it. Our server was excellent and suggested the best champagne. Our steaks were properly cooked. It was an amazing experience. The parking space was limited in front of the restaurant but there was free public garage a block away.

   Flame is an absolute must for anyone visiting or living in Springfield! The food is consistently fabulous and prepared to perfection. Elizabeth is phenomenal so we request she takes care of us every time we come into town! All of the staff are great, but she is certainly top notch!

   Flame is definatively a SWMO destination! Remeniscent of a cozy steakhouse, replete with 5 star service and 1500* steaks, you wont be dissapointed! Popovers to start, delightful family size sides, and marvelous steak and seafood, greatambience and excellent service combine to make this an Ozark gem!

    This was a very nice place to celebrate an anniversary. The food was really good. They were very accommodating for our requests. We highly recommend the fried portobello with horseradish cream - yum!

    Elizabeth is amazing! We love the quiet conversations we can have with family in the Red Room Lounge and last night was no different. Food quality and taste is impeccable! We live in Dallas, TX, so make Flame a priority for our visits to Springfield to visit family!

    Just out for Christmas Eve dinner! The steaks were amazingly cooked to perfect. Drinks were great and service on point and sociable. It was so nice . The red room is a neat downstairs room. The atmosphere is more fun and red. Great art deco for good food and relaxing time .

    Wonderful ambiance—not their busiest evening but a perfect combination of bustling activity and quiet conversation. Table was well-tended and the bread service was second to none. Our party of four each chose a different steak and everyone was delighted with the cut and the preparation. Generous portion of creme brûlée to top off the evening. Will return!

    Items to rave about: Delmonico steak, lobster, halibut. Items that were just fine but nothing to write home about: mashed potatoes and lobster mac n cheese. Service was outstanding. We will definitely return during our next visit to Springfield.

    Great place to eat for a special occasion or just a special date night. Always excellent service and food and a nice atmosphere. They have an extensive wine list. Recommend you make a reservation because they can be busy even on a week night.
