Moody atmosphere and steaks prepared to perfection. Don’t miss the escargot or a fun cocktail. Excellent service and overall dining experience. Can’t wait to return.
I have tried this place a number of times and it just isn’t good. The food prices are laughable and it’s just salty meat. Sides are just basic steakhouse side nothing stands out.
This is a first time experience.
As soon as you walk in you can smell the steaks. LOL it was great.
I got the 42 day aged rib eye with fries and mac and cheese.
my wife got a salmon with mash potatoes.
all was great! very tasty and worth the money.
overall great night and great drinks.
Excellent service by Jim
My waiter was awesome
I took my friend out for a special occasion and Flame did not disappoint! We both had filet and a few sides and all of them were perfectly cooked! I have several food allergies and they were so great at accommodating me! The cocktail selections were fun and executed perfectly! Our waiter Jimmy was informative, insightful and well versed in the menu and drink. Will def be back with my boyfriend next time!!
The service was awesome and tentative from the Hostess to our server Roxanne. Roxanne is a wealth of knowledge and is fantastic at showing up at the best times. Unfortunately the bourbon listing is decent except the bar doesn’t have what is listed. We tried 4 different pours Weller 207, Col EH small batch, Blanton…. Finally settled on a beer. I understand running out on occasion but they didn’t have anything of interest. So be it. Overall good experience.
Food was delicious, good service. Excellent restaurant for a nice night out.
Night out with friend’s
Filet medallions were delicious as usual.
Great place to eat -had been there several times in the past and will go again.
I have been to Flame many times. This time, the $70 steak was not enjoyable because the cook covered it in salt. It was edible, but not enjoyable. I did not tell management because I did not wish to spoil dinner for the others at my table who might be reluctant to enjoy their meals while I waited for mine to be corrected.
I expect cooks working with expensive meat to be more experienced and more careful.
The service was pleasant and professional and attentive -- as usual.
Hopefully, next time, the food will be outstanding -- as usual.
Best steaks in the country and great service. I highly recommend Jace.
Steak was excellent. The Old fashioned spot on.
Had a great dinner. Food was superb and service was excellent
The grand reopening was fantastic. Good to be back.
Lindsey is a great server! Very personable and food was great!
Food was amazing, and atmosphere was as well. We had the best table in the restaurant!
I was excited to eat at this well reviewed steakhouse but found the experience lacking. The food was mediocre at best, my ribeye was poorly seasoned and the fried oysters were bland. My husbands lobster was chewy/overcooked. The price was exorbitant for the quality of the food. Our sever was the only high point.
Outstanding Birthday dinner for my Wife with a group of friends, great Service, Food and wine.
As usual excellent!
I had the 8 oz filet cooked rare. It is the best steak you can get in Spfd.. It is also close to the best steak I have ever eaten anywhere. It was a hundred times better than a Ruth’s Chris steak.
Food was just OK. Had the Delmonico, add cremini mushrooms and had the twice baked as my side. Food came out about 7 minutes after I ordered, which was a bit strange. Steak was on the thin side and average at best with a lot of fat. The potatoes were luke-warm and the bread they eventually brought out was cold.
The online wine list was not even close to what they had at the restaurant.
We both ordered a steak and it was to be medium but came out raw. We sent it back and again brought out raw. They asked if we wanted to send back again and we said no. I ordered my steak med well and it was med. Prices are to high and we were seated at a table that had a lot if traffic. Everytime a server walked by he hit our table with a rag. Ewww. Not worth it.
Daughter & date said it was great
Always the best steaks in Springfield.
We were extremely happy that we had one of the u-shaped booths off the balcony. Our food was amazing - from the steaks to the oysters and lobster - everything was the best we have had in quite some time. The service, as usual, was top notch. This is always a favorite of ours when visiting Springfield.
The steak is absolutely put of this world. The twice baked potato... not so much
We went to Flame to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday. I made a special request when I made reservations and I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and those requests were met. Service was phenomenal and the food was extraordinary.
Bone in filet for $60 was tough.
Been going there since it opened. Lost its mojo
We went to Springfield for a late anniversary celebration to eat steak and see Les Miserables. We had not eaten at Flame before and the reviews made our choice a toss up between Flame and Char. Well we chose Flame and were surprised to find when we walked in the door winding stairs going up and down into different dining areas. Our first thought was oh no, are we gonna have to climb stairs?!!! Well we did, thank God we didn’t plan on drinking. Our appetizer was actually Great! We ordered the twin burger appetizer. It even came with fries! But then we ordered steaks with salads. Our salads were drenched in dressing. Our steaks were terrible. Our waitress was pleasant. We won’t go back.
Great place. Loved that we requested a table away from the windows and they could accommodate that request.
Lindsey was an amazing server who made the experience so fun! She gave us plenty of recommendations and the food was amazing!
Food was excellent. Our server Lindsey was a 10+.
Amazing food, amazing wine and phenomenal service!
Always a great dining experience. Went for New Years Eve-wonderful.
