Good ambience. Service was slow on Saturday evening at 5:45p. Prices are reasonable. Porterhouse was so-so but the filet mignon was very good. It took 30 minutes to get a cocktail - totally unacceptable. Food is good but not exceptional. We enjoyed their sister restaurant Char more.

Jim was amazing, food was EXCEPTIONAL!! Possibly one of my new favorite restaurants. Cool swanky vibe, great wine selection, knowledgeable staff that went the extra mile and everything we ate, from the pop overs (Omg) to the ribeye, mushroom steak soup, creme Brulee, just fantastic

My husband and I were excited to visit this restaurant-but somewhat disappointed by the experience. Our server was excellent at the beginning of the meal but became more lax as the evening continued. They forgot about my husband’s second request for a cocktail and brought the check before we even had a chance to inquire about dessert. My husband enjoyed his strip steak and large baked potato and we both liked the bread served. The Flirtini cocktail was really good as well as the wedge salad but the portobello mushroom and shrimp cake appetizers as well as the dessert tree were mediocre at best. All things considered-we won’t be back-

Our server, Trey (unsure of the correct spelling), was super personable, efficient, and accommodating. Owen made sure our water was never below half-empty. We felt like royalty due to the outstanding service and attention we received. The food did not disappoint as usual. I think nailing good service is, at times, harder than nailing good food and Flame was firing on all cylinders last night. Bravo!

Eight of us went for a great meal with steaks and wine. First two cab wines we tried to order from their wine selection were not available and we settled on a Pinot with the appetizers. Tried to order a cab with 8 steak entrees and the next two choices were also “unavailable”. We gave up after that since the wine selection menu was a work of fiction. If you are keeping track, that is one wine out of five that were available on the primary wine menu when ordered. Steaks had great flavor but were luke warm when served. Our bill was $1000+ with salads, sides, and tip. There must be a better restaurant in Springfield when a group wishes to celebrate and spend serious dollars.

I love a great steakhouse, and Flame didn't disappoint. What a find! Superb service, awesome food, and the steaks...steaks so good that I'll have to fly back to Springfield just to go to dinner here again! It was an amazing experience! I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Was there for MSU graduation May 19, 2023. This was my third time…but first in the lower level…and we Loved it! Serious reduction in noise level and very intimate downstairs. My folks are a bit elderly, but did ok on the steps. Upper floors can be a little noisy at times and sometimes a little smokey from cooking. Hannah was our dynamite server and she was about as good as it gets! We had a couple food allergies and some wine enthusiasts in our party of 9, and she handled all requests like a pro!

This was our first dinner experience in this restaurant. It is on the premium side but worth the value. It was our sons college graduation and it was perfect place to celebrate it. Our server was excellent and suggested the best champagne. Our steaks were properly cooked. It was an amazing experience. The parking space was limited in front of the restaurant but there was free public garage a block away.

Flame is an absolute must for anyone visiting or living in Springfield! The food is consistently fabulous and prepared to perfection. Elizabeth is phenomenal so we request she takes care of us every time we come into town! All of the staff are great, but she is certainly top notch!

Flame is definatively a SWMO destination! Remeniscent of a cozy steakhouse, replete with 5 star service and 1500* steaks, you wont be dissapointed! Popovers to start, delightful family size sides, and marvelous steak and seafood, greatambience and excellent service combine to make this an Ozark gem!

This was a very nice place to celebrate an anniversary. The food was really good. They were very accommodating for our requests. We highly recommend the fried portobello with horseradish cream - yum!
