Great food, delicious craft beers, a master sommelier-chosen wine selection, matched with impeccable service and a warm inviting ambiance is what the award winning chef/owner strives for every evening.
If there was ever a neighborhood gem, it's Flame. We have been multiple times and it's always outstanding. The food is authentic and the service is always welcoming and friendly.
The Flame is one of our favorite restaurants. It has a warm & inviting atmosphere. The food is excellent. I always start with a salad & then my husband & I split one of the delicious stone oven pizzas. The music is always ‘70s & ‘80s rock. What could be be better?
The Flame is truly a hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley!
Great food. Great music. Great ambiance. Great service.
We always feel genuinely welcomed at Flame Pizzeria. Tle Caesar salad is delicious and the pizza is as fantastic as the pizza we ate in Naples...amazing crust and toppings.
Wherever I have lives, Ive lived in New York, to Los Angeles, and in-between. This is my favorite. Even better than NY pizza
After years of searching, we finally found the best pizza in all of Los Angeles. Highly recommended - all the pizza options are great; best crust ever. Tuesday (and daily Happy Hour) is wing night. The wings have a great woodsy flavor; and they are big!!! Enjoy!!
Great food! They were short staffed that night so service suffered a little but overall love the place!
We are from NY and this pizza is so yummy! Love the atmosphere, the pizza, the chicken wings, the music and the service!!!!
Along with Mozza and Pizzana, the best pizza in So Cal.
Great place, food and service outstanding. Would highly recommend. And would certainly return if I find myself in the area. Tried salad and two pizzas.
LOVE IT!! I crave the potatoes, the sliders and of course the pizza! Tried the wings for the first time and so meaty and good! Can't wait to come back!
Food was great, music was wonderful, and I can't say enough about Richard the owner and Toni.
You should go and for sure you will go back!!
This is a treasure in the middle of The Valley. Great pizza made by a craftsman, good wine to go with it.
Very good pizza. Best crust you will ever have. Very friendly service and cute place.
Terrific service, and the Pizza and Caesar Salad were delicious. We will definitely be back.
I loved everything about our experience! The food, the staff and the chef was so friendly and welcoming. We left feeling very special and will definitely be back.
What a delightful surprise! Thanks, Open Table for suggesting it. Caesar salad was wonderful; pizza was excellent. My husband and I couldn't believe "we ate the whole thing!" Server was excellent and lovely. When she found out it was our first visit, she brought us a slice of almond cake--delicious, light and fluffy--on the house. We'll be back, and have already shared this find with several friends.
Excellent food and value. Order pizza for myself and salad as a main course for my guest. Looking forward to returning for line music which is available sometime.
Good neopolitan style pizza. Nice atmosphere and very nice staff.
The pizza is always excellent, great beer and wine, and fabulous service. We love Flame!
Caesar salad is especially good. Asked for pizzas to be cooked a bit longer and they came out just the way we liked. Such a pleasant place to go...will come back often.
Great dinner. Everyone friendly and team effort to make sure you have everything you need.
loved the service and pizza, the owner makes the best pizza in the valley
Great service and food was wonderful. Fresh and delicious. The pizza is out of this world. Wish everyone could have had their pizza at once but they are made to order and we had a big party. I’ll be back!
If you want to experience pizza Nirvana - this is your place! The meatball sliders are incredible!
If you live in the Valley and care about food you should visit this place: this is a chef driven restaurant narrowly focused on wood burning oven pizza, local draft beers, and a few carefully selected inexpensive wines. There is no trace of the mass market pizza that mimics the real thing found here, there is not a scratch of the overblown "gourmet" airs and prices of some other Valley chef driven venues. The service is a team effort as found in the best restaurants. My only complaint: there is a TV on over the bar (this is not to my taste), but one can sit in the back of the restaurant out of the sight and sound of the intrusive TV. This place is a little treasure of the West Valley, it is one of those LA strip mall culinary gems.
Delicious and great service
Our favorite pizza. We dine at Flame often and our daughter who lives in Manhattan, which is known for great pizza, loves eating at Flame when she visits, the last 2 times and now. This time we tried what I think is a new dessert - Almond cake (I think). Delicious flavor and texture which is not cake-like. I may be remembering the name wrong because it did not taste like almonds but was great!
Flame is always consistent - just great food!! We love the thousand layer potato appetizer, the Caesar salad is killer, and the Ritchie pizza is the BEST!! Richard is an absolute master!
Tasty food, amazing appetizers, and unique experience. Great beers on tap.
I felt like I was dining in New York City. Great originally cooked pizza. The Wood-Fired Antipasto is different and delicious, yum!! Pricing was typical of any fine restaurant in the Northridge area. I’ll eating there again soon!
We are more than willing to travel further to dine at Flame when we want pizza. A few nights ago when Passover ended, which is a week without eating any form of bread, our first meal was pizza at Flame Pizzeria. Great pizza, nice vibe, great service and my favorite beer anywhere - Mango Hefeweizen. The owner, Richard, was a private chef to the stars for many years and now he is "our" chef! Also the favorite pizza for our friend DP who travels twice as far as we do.
Amazing food and place. I have had dinner at Flame several times. All the appetizers are amazing and the pizza is out of this world
Great Pizza, Beer, and ambiance. Place reminds you of your local pizzaria.
GREAT pizza - our favorite is the Blanco with marinara sauce added. I rarely drink beer but I make an exception for the Mango Hefeveisen at Flame.
On the Value Rating: They said that we could substitute one topping on our pizza, but charged us for both - the ingredient that we left off AND the ingredient that we substituted. Not nice.
The Resteraunt is a quaint small neighborhood pizzeria. Menu is small, primarily pizza with a few apps. I thought the apps were pricy for what you got. The ceasar salad was excellent, pizza was fabulous, our server Nono was very friendly and never let our drinks get low, and our party of 7 had a good time. Looking forward to going back.
The food is always consistent and the service friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Excellent service. Primer menu by the Chef. Outstanding !
