Churrasco has three centuries of tradition in the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil. Gauchos would prepare a feast for their family and friends by slow roasting various cuts of meat from each of their herd over an open flame pit. They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. Established in Roseville in 2014, we are proud to share with you the culture of great food and warm hospitality.

    What an incredible experience! I took my team as part of our planning meeting and to show my appreciation for all their hard work and we had a wonderful time. The food experience was amazing and the service was impeccable. Valentino and the whole service team at F&F made the moment very special for us.

    We were moved into a sideroom even though we had a reservation and there were empty tables in the main (preferable) room. Our server and the bar staff were over extended, and the restaurant was not full. Meat service was fantastic however.

    Lunchtime Rodizio Grill is a good value. We definitely ate our fill. The Market Table was fine, but nothing to rave about. Service was excellent. The music was too loud; next time I’ll try outdoor seating even if it’s hot. I was also surprised that other diners were wearing very casual clothes - pj bottoms, jeans, t-shirts, shorts, gym wear - when Flame & Fire’s website makes such a big deal about “Proper Attire”. If I’d known they weren’t going to enforce their own dress code, I would have worn jeans and a tee as well.

    This is just my opinion, overall experience was interesting. Service was great! I didn’t necessarily enjoy the meat though, way too salty for my taste. Probably wouldn’t be going back.

    Service was not great. Took forever for them to bring the meat around. Every time you asked for something it is like they forgot. Asked for medium rare and never got medium rare. Manager walking around but never once went to tables to ask how things were. Been here like 6 times and it is always the same. Will they ever improve?

    First time here and at a Brazilian steak house. Over all it was amazing. We were seated promptly on arrival and since I said ahead of time everyone congratulated us on our anniversary, even down to the bus boys. Everyone was pleasant and interactive. The food was great to boot. Everything we were given was amazing. Even the market meal that came with the people cutting off the meat was amazing by itself! Definitely would recommend and will go back!

    I've dined here several times before and the service has always been excellent especially from Melissa. The meat selection was excellent, everything from filet mignon, Ribeye, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, chicken in several flavors, pork, and lamb. Delicious lobster bisque on the Market Table. This restaurant is on-par or maybe even better than Fogo de Chao.

    This is the very best restaurant in Bakersfield! The service was personal, attentive and wonderful! The food was amazing! I cannot say enough great things about Flame & Fire - Bakersfield. I would strongly recommend that anyone who has a special occasion, in particular, considers Flame & Fire for dinner. You will not be disappointed.

    Absolutely wonderful experience. It was our first time dining and everything was explained in detail, presented well and tasted delicious. Every single protein we were offered (we tried over 16 hand passed items) were cooked to perfection. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL, it’s truly hard to find this kind of an entire staff anywhere. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you!

    Poor service and the waiting time for each meat is too long!! Price should be $59.80 I ended up paying $100 that’s without ordering drinks or anything specified!! Very bad experience

    Everything was wonderful. The food was amazing. The staff were on point, very helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. The only complaint I had, and it’s minor, was that there is a clearly stated “dress code” on the website, so my wife and I made sure to be presentable, but when we got there, it was clearly not being enforced. It was a little bit of a let down. However, it’s only a minor issue and will not keep us from going back again, still dressed appropriately.

    My wife and I love this place! We probably have came here about 4 times this year. The food is always great and the service is amazing. Unfortunately, this past Friday evening 9/15/23, we didn’t receive such a pleasant experience..There was so many people that night. Because of this, it felt more chaotic than usual. It seemed like they were understaffed. We got skipped multiple times, and by the time the food came around, it was cold..The staff was definitely trying their best, one of the gentlemen even asked us if they can personally bring us a specific type of steak and did. I think the system just may need some improvements. Overall, we believe this may have been a one off day. And will still be coming back! Hope this feedback reaches the right person!

    My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and I think this is going to become a go to for celebrations or special occasions. The ambience was great. The food was amazing! The staff was very kind and attentive. Our table had a personalized note and a rose when we sat down. We were also given a complimentary chocolate cake for our anniversary. Definitely recommend!

    I’ve been here quite a few times and this was such a bad experience. Quality control was poor and the service even worse. All the meat came out over salted and completely raw when they cut into it. It was inedible. We spoke to the servers who agreed with us. Manager and waitress did even care to check in. We left
