Churrasco has three centuries of tradition in the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil. Gauchos would prepare a feast for their family and friends by slow roasting various cuts of meat from each of their herd over an open flame pit. They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. Established in Roseville in 2014, we are proud to share with you the culture of great food and warm hospitality.

    Really enjoyed ourselves. Really appreciated that the owner came around to greet his guests, good thing to do so he knows first hand how they are doing. The only thing I would work on is the wait staff, they are not as friendly as one would expect at an upscale restaurant. Although the waitress who waited on us was very knowledgeable, she wasn't as attentive & did not notice that my husband had no silverware, it took a minute to flag someone else down. Also I asked for a straw & she just tossed it on the table & I felt that was rude, at least hand it to me. The staff serving the meat etc were very nice, despite our waitress we are open to returning.

    Best date place in Bakersfield! The food was fantastic, the service was top notch, and the ambiance was just right. We went early to avoid crowds so we had practically the whole place to ourselves! We will absolutely be back!

    Bakersfield favorite! Entertained friends and family here many times. Pineapple, lobster bisque, and the little cheese-filled bread is enough to bring you back! Staff is always amazing.. thank you for consistent quality.

    We have dined at flame and fire multiple times. We have had Christmas parties there taken kids for birthdays and every time we go it gets better. Me and my wife went there on a date and last night and had an amazing experience our waitress was so nice the Gauchos were great and super friendly, the meat just kept coming. We especially love the Picanha it’s so buttery tasting add a little of the pineapple with it and WOW!! Thank you again to Christophe, Cody, Dan, Valentino and all the other staff. You guys always make it a great dining experience!!

    It’s our second time coming here for our wedding anniversary dinner. Delicious food, great service, cute anniversary card and a yummy dessert… what’s not to love? Everyone is so friendly, too. Tonight the manager came up to our table and wished us a happy anniversary and said they would be bringing out an anniversary dessert. Everything was great!!

    This place is very clean, very nice and the employees all very nice. The price is very HIGH! We came hungry and there was no way we could eat our moneys worth! The food was good. The dessert was so so. But it is not a place we would frequent because of the expense.

    Food was excellent especially the top sirloin and pineapple. It was our anniversary, was given a rose and a complimentary chocolate cake. Staff were extremely attentive plates and drinks were always full. Owner stopped by to greet us and made us feel very welcomed and special. Will definitely be back

    Our server Valentino, and the hostesses upfront made us feel very welcomed. Valentino explained everything to us in a very patient, calm way, and made sure he went above and beyond to make sure my fathers birthday was perfect. We will definitely be returning for another special occasion.

    First time at Flame & Fire. The tomahawk steak was to die for. It was outstanding. The sides were amazing. My favorite was the candy spicy bacon. Hailey our waitress was wonderful. She explained everything to us on how it worked as far as the dinner goes. Overall a great place. Drinks were amazing also. Ask for Hailey she was excellent.

    I had come once before & hadn’t been in 2yrs. Specifically for the lobster bisque. The first time it was creamy, buttery, & big chunks of lobster. This time it was salty, smaller pieces of lobster, & tasted burned.

    Our food experience was amazing. The atmosphere is so mellow and chic. The difference varieties of meats are great quality and oh so delicious. The staff greeted us at the door and we were seated immediately with our reservation. I can not tell we what was our favorite part of the meal because everything was great. All the servers meets us with a smile and great meat, cheese and pineapple selection. Oh but the grilled pineapple is OMGGGGG GOOD. The drinks from the bar were scrumptious. Our overall experience was a 10+. This is our favorite restaurant by far in Bakersfield.

    Brought my family here for my wife's birthday and we had a great time. The owner came and checked on us and visited for a few minutes. Waitress was amazing. Food was great and so was the atmosphere. We will definitely try it again sometime.

    We have been to this place over 20 times. I absolutely love this place and it’s hands down the best restaurant we have in Bakersfied. The service is always great. We always make reservations ahead of time on this app and it works out seamlessly. We always order the Rodizio option. The food is always flowing and cooked to perfection. Their drinks are the best. Sometimes we do take a bottle and their corkage fee is reasonable. My step-son loves ordering their crème brûlée, it’s delicious!
