Churrasco has three centuries of tradition in the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil. Gauchos would prepare a feast for their family and friends by slow roasting various cuts of meat from each of their herd over an open flame pit. They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. Established in Roseville in 2014, we are proud to share with you the culture of great food and warm hospitality.

    This is the very best restaurant in Bakersfield! The service was personal, attentive and wonderful! The food was amazing! I cannot say enough great things about Flame & Fire - Bakersfield. I would strongly recommend that anyone who has a special occasion, in particular, considers Flame & Fire for dinner. You will not be disappointed.

    Absolutely wonderful experience. It was our first time dining and everything was explained in detail, presented well and tasted delicious. Every single protein we were offered (we tried over 16 hand passed items) were cooked to perfection. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL, it’s truly hard to find this kind of an entire staff anywhere. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you!

    Poor service and the waiting time for each meat is too long!! Price should be $59.80 I ended up paying $100 that’s without ordering drinks or anything specified!! Very bad experience

    Everything was wonderful. The food was amazing. The staff were on point, very helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. The only complaint I had, and it’s minor, was that there is a clearly stated “dress code” on the website, so my wife and I made sure to be presentable, but when we got there, it was clearly not being enforced. It was a little bit of a let down. However, it’s only a minor issue and will not keep us from going back again, still dressed appropriately.

    My wife and I love this place! We probably have came here about 4 times this year. The food is always great and the service is amazing. Unfortunately, this past Friday evening 9/15/23, we didn’t receive such a pleasant experience..There was so many people that night. Because of this, it felt more chaotic than usual. It seemed like they were understaffed. We got skipped multiple times, and by the time the food came around, it was cold..The staff was definitely trying their best, one of the gentlemen even asked us if they can personally bring us a specific type of steak and did. I think the system just may need some improvements. Overall, we believe this may have been a one off day. And will still be coming back! Hope this feedback reaches the right person!

    My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and I think this is going to become a go to for celebrations or special occasions. The ambience was great. The food was amazing! The staff was very kind and attentive. Our table had a personalized note and a rose when we sat down. We were also given a complimentary chocolate cake for our anniversary. Definitely recommend!

    I’ve been here quite a few times and this was such a bad experience. Quality control was poor and the service even worse. All the meat came out over salted and completely raw when they cut into it. It was inedible. We spoke to the servers who agreed with us. Manager and waitress did even care to check in. We left

    Came to flaming fire to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the staff made it so special, brought amazing food and sang in Portuguese to my sister. I’m a vegetarian, and they had a wide arrange of other options for me to choose from.

    This was our first visit and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The Manager or Owner even came by to make sure we were enjoying our visit and wished my boyfriend a Happy Birthday. The only neutral comment I have is that it took about 12 minutes after our reservation time to get seated. However, it might make sense for how the service rotation works and I would happily wait that time again when we return.

    Service is excellent! I was there for my wedding anniversary and the staff made us feel special and important. My server, Valentino, was attentive, informative, and ready to take care of us with excellence. I will be back for the tomahawk.

    Valentino was an amazing server. We have been to Flame & Fire several times and never gotten service as good as last night. I really appreciated him moving us to a bigger table to my toddler had an actual seat at the table and not on a corner where he could just reach anything on our plates. I also never had to look for him to ask for anything. He frequently checked in on our table amidst the gauchos bringing meat by! Normally we are there on busier nights or holidays, but this was so nice and the service from Valentino was top notch!

    We loved this place! There is practically no wait for food; once you’re seated and choose your option you can start eating immediately. Our only complaint was that the chicken was dry. All the red meat was delicious and perfect! And the salad bar had amazing options.

    For being in Bakersfield, it’s a little over priced. Doesn’t help they add a 4% fee onto your bill to offset rising cost. They have a lot of help at the front desk but only two waiters. Food is good. They have different meat options and the salad bar offers variety. Service is attentive and nice.

    Wow! My only argument is that it took me this long to finally try Flame and Fire. It was fantastic. Took my wife for our anniversary. Staff was amazing and food was fantastic. A must try for anyone looking for a great dinning experience along with delicious cuts of meat.

    The food was outstanding! The decor is excellent. The ambiance was lessened because the music was way too loud. Most of the service was fantastic, but there was one server, I didn't get his name, but he was an older gentleman, and he was absolutely rude! I'm a little hard of hearing, and with the music so loud I asked him to repeat himself a couple of times, and it seemed to anger him. Even without the hearing issue, he did not smile or greet us in a friendly manner, very unprofessional, that person does not need to be working in the service industry.
