Churrasco has three centuries of tradition in the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil. Gauchos would prepare a feast for their family and friends by slow roasting various cuts of meat from each of their herd over an open flame pit. They offered to each family and friend, the best of the Gaucho’s herd, where they carved the meats at each table in a show of skill and gift giving.

Located in Bakersfield’s Southwest neighborhood, Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse is a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio style of carved meats table side, along with our exquisite market table. This is the third restaurant to Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse, with two other locations in Roseville and Folsom California. Established in Roseville in 2014, we are proud to share with you the culture of great food and warm hospitality.

Terrible! The waiter only came to our table once all night. The meat was extremely salty and overcooked! The drink took 10 minutes to arrive, and the water was never refilled. We waited more than 10 minutes for the bill, and we asked 3 employees for it until we decided to get up and wait at front door . I left hungry. The restaurant wasn't full! I don't recommend it!

Gauchos were very slow in making their rounds. Very friendly people, definitely wasn't the issue, but in their travels the meat was cool to warm but never hot. The servings at other Brazilian Steakhouses is typically enough for around three bites. At this restaurant, the serving sizes were in the one to two bite range. Considering that they were on the slow side, my party would eat a bite or two and sit for several minutes before the next one or two bites. Now add in that you definitely do not want every meat that was offered, we were as long as 8 to 10 minutes between bites. It started to get a bit comical. Not at all up to their larger city peers.

Too dark iinside,we went at 1:30 for Easter brunch. I'm older and the darkened room made it difficult to see the food. People eat with their eyes first. The food I ate was tasty, the rate the servers came around with the meats was astounding, I would have liked a bit slower pace. My daughter's lobster was a bit overdone. If you're looking for a cozy spot this is the place.

We were set outside where we were hardly serviced. We were not given an option to even be seated inside. We had to wait around 10 minutes each time for something to come out.

We decided to go for the 1st time. We will need to pace ourselves next time. Very friendly ! We enjoyed all of it! The meats were amazing, very tender and seasoned just right. I’m a sauce on my meat kind of gal, but not on these meats! The owner comes around and greets you. It is a little expensive, but we knew that and it was a DATE night🥰 We sat in the small room and that was perfect for noise!
