Great restaurant, needs to update their wine list. The list was missing a good selection of wine by the glass, with current trends.

All that I can say is the service was impeccable. All the little details were handled with such professionalism. All I can say is we felt loved throughout the whole experience! Food was delicious as well. Very expensive but by the end of the evening it was all worth it!

The food was good however not good enough to justify the expense. Dinner for 5 with minimal alcohol was over 800.00 dollars. Sectacular setting. Would be good for a 'WOW" event.

It was my first time after living in Co for 20 yes! Wonderful experience!
If I had one criticism, my risotto was under cooked in my duck entre. View was great and service impeccable!

As a solo attendee, I felt out of place in the dining location I was in. Since I was dining alone, I would have better appreciated to be located closer to the window for the scenic view and out of the way of the general traffic.

All in all, everything was phenomenal and spectacular, as expected from the Flagstaff House restaurant.

The food and service was excellent. I did not like being handed an iPad for the wine list. Maybe it is economical for them, and might be more up to date, but I could not navigate in it.

The Flagstaff House continues to impress every time we go there, which is now close to 40 years. First class service and an unparalled view of Boulder city lights. We'll be back.

Staff were great. From the valet parking guy & back again, everyone was attentive without being stifling. Chef catered well to dietary quirks even when it came to the mange bouche between courses - which were a delicious, unordered touch. Portions were just right & plates were all but licked clean. One member of the party declared the duck was the best he'd ever had, the monkfish & chicken dishes did not disappoint either. Great view of Boulder & beyond from our window table, could've sat there all night in their comfortable chairs.
Decor maybe a little tired but easy to overlook when everything else is pitched so well.
Thanks for a lovely evening & making us feel special.

I thought restaurant was very dated. The view is fantastic but no one was interested in showing us around on a very quite night. It was more about getting out of there. The bar was quite and to have a conversation versus the bartender slamming old refridge doors was comical. The main dish was average at best. The chefs treats where a welcome addition. The waitress was very nice but very business like for a slow night with very few tables.

It's funny. The Flagstaff House is and has been the pinnacle of Boulder dining for decades. It's a truly lovely spot with amazing views. But this is the third time we've eaten there in the last several years and the third time it was disappointing. This time, I started with some oysters, served with lime and tequila. Nice concept. But the tequila has so much sugar added, it was really a sugar syrup that completely drowned out the beautiful oysters. The salad was completely ho-hum. I had the vegetable taster for the main course. There was a lovely quinoa with basil oil. But the raw vegetable salad was dressed only in lemon juice - no oil, no balance, and an overwhelming sour taste that - wait for it - drowned out the taste of the veg. Likewise, there was a tian of zucchini and goat cheese. Hard to find the goat cheese at all, but someone decided to add an unholy amount of vinegar to it...nothing warm and cozy about this dish. The onion an mushroom pot pie had nearly raw zucchini and fennel added which again detracted from the well cooked onions and fungus. Even the dessert was ordinary.... I would recommend that Flagstaff for cocktails (which were good) and their coffee service (which is amazing).... but for $300 for two people, we won't be coming back soon....

I'd heard so much about the Flagstaff House that I was skeptical on this, our first visit, so I was so incredibly impressed by everything about our evening! We've been fortunate enough to eat at great restaurants throughout the world, and Flagstaff house may very well be the nicest restaurant we've ever been to- the setting, views, ambiance, service, and food were all phenomenal. It's pricey, but it is a true dining experience, and likely worth the price. Look forward to going there for special occasions in the future!

As always, the food was perfect and all the extra "chef goodies" were superb! My steak was cooked to perfection and they substituted the "greens" for squash. The Halibut was a large piece with shrimp alongside and both were great. The salads were delicious and the Crème Brule fabulous (as always). Love their cup of coffee with all the accompaniments!! The bread selection is great, especially the Walnut swirl. A great experience every time we dine here. AND the view is the best on the Front range!

We went for a family dining experience and all of us enjoyed ourselves. The server, Elizabeth, was experienced and helpful. The noise level was a little high but that was probably more about acoustics than anything that could be controlled. Two people ordered the coq au vin. One person was impressed but the other thought it was fine but definitely not the best she had ever had. A beautiful view, good food and time with family made it a lovely memory.
