Service was lousy. Our server was plain rude, said very little didn't thank us or anything. Won't return.

Our service (server) was fantastic. We had a nice romantic dinner - appetizers, drink (great mixed drinks), main meal and dessert. The lobster was perfect and my steak was also outstanding. Both were fresh specials. The pastry chef was MIA so our dessert (lava cake) was delayed. We enjoyed the ambiance, they kept providing status on further cooking the cake. The chef came out to apologize for the delay and was honest about missing his pastry guy and that he himself wasn't a pastry chef. So what did come out was more like a pudding cake and it was one of the best desserts I've ever had. He was embarrassed when he brought it out himself, but honestly it was fabulous. They wouldn't charge us for it. I felt they handled the bobble well and even their 'mistake' cooking is outstanding. The only potential downside is the price- just be prepared for a Maui type expense dining here. I thought the meal was worth it but fair warning to others.

We loved Five Spice. Service was warm and prompt. Food was excellent as was the outdoor seating area and lake view. After dinner coffee was the best we've ever had. Dessert was just right. We highly recommend Five Spice for casual or special occasion dining.

I took an 86 year old friend for a birthday dinner. The service wasn't in your face and the noise level was low so we had a lovely get together. My friend had the trout and I had the fish stew. Both were delicious.

Five Spice is a go to place for very good food and drinks. Their fish is always fresh and the preparations are creative and delicious. The Pear Tart dessert is awesome!

Consider as a gem in Lake Oswego. Staff is very professional but relaxed and with that "touch of friendliness" that invites to come again. Food is top quality and definitely, the kitchen staff knows what they are preparing and how to prepare it.

We ordered several small plates and all were great. A chance to sample a variety of seafood. Presentation was quite nice. Good recommendation on wines. Overall a fine experience.
