   We had a later dinner reservation, most other people had been served in the restaurant. Our server seemed slow, but effective and polite. However, after a slow start, it went even slower. Took an hour after ordering to receive our food. Food quality didn’t hold up base on several other past visits. One entry, took an extra 15 minutes to be served, we waited for the last entry to be served, so others had cold food.

   I really enjoy eating at Five. The lounge and patio can be noisy so I usually sit in the dining room which is quieter. “Old” John and Emma provided great service. Lobster tail and desserts were superb at our pre-Easter dinner.

   Wonderful food. Friendly service. Charming restaurant. Bar is lively in the front but only somewhat noisy in the back. Well worth a visit!

   had fried calamari appetizer. calamari was so dry hard very poor in quantity with lots of carrots and vegetables for the price I won’t recommend that

   We enjoy going to the Five for celebrations and even a nice meal for just my husband and me. Quite honestly, their Zip Sauce and Truffle Fries, are my obsession. Even better than that is Johnny’s cocktails. He is the greatest mixologist! He surprises me with unique cocktails every time I go in. The staff has always been fantastic as they do everything they can to make your visit enjoyable. Management is always on top of it all, making it a point to check in with customers to welcome them and ask if service is going well and if there is anything more they can do for us. This is what service used to be like many years ago, we LOVE that The Five has continued to maintain high standards of service for all of their guests.

    Steak perfectly prepared. Clam chowder very tasty. Service fabulous. Baklava—outstanding.
