   We were very pleased with our dinner at 5 Points Tavern. The hanger steak was delicious. The dips and flats are a great starter. We enjoyed the outdoor seating until the rain started coming and we were quickly situated inside by the staff. Speaking of the staff......Fantastic! They are attentive without being pushy and in your face. Highly recommend. I know we will be going back.

   Outdoor seating is fun for people watching, indoor seating is comfy with great artwork by Dennis Campay. Food is creative and so very tasty.

   I think this is the best overall restaurant in Jacksonville. There menu is so varied and everything is exceptional. I’ve eaten here many times and eaten many food items and never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and capable. There is a great outside space and bar if you like to eat outside. The desserts are good and this is the one place I’ve found fried oysters prepared properly, if you like those. We love this restaurant.

   Best food in Jacksonville! The specials are local, seasonal and delicious. The piquillo peppers appetizer is not to be missed. If you have room for dessert, the red velvet beet cake is outstanding. If you love food, this is the place for you.

   We love this restaurant. It’s a no frills atmosphere , but the food is always incredibly delicious. And the menu changes from time to time so there are new things to try. And, besides the food you expect at a restaurant, you can get some delicious “warm your soul” kinds of food. There is outdoor dining too which can be great when there is a river breeze coming up the street. And it’s a lot of fun watching people go by on the street. We eat here every few weeks and totally recommend it. Good drinks too !!!

   We were seated in the dining area where they housed and operated (while we were dining) the vacuum seal. Our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly, but waited a long time before entrees. When we asked our server, he said it was just plated....another seven minutes before being served, and both were cold. The manager came over and made excuses instead of an apology. Food was whisked away and was correct temperature the second time, but we were rushed by then to get to the theatre ( which the staff was aware prior). Server was good, but manager was rude and copped an attitude. Will not return or recommend. Very disappointed

    We have dined at 5 Points Tavern several times. Always consistent, always delicious, always a great dining experience. 5 Star without the stuffy atmosphere of fine dining in days past. Go!!!
