Was ok. We were there for Mother's Day so it was busy. The waitress greeted my mom with a bold "Welcome back!" - an interesting choice seeing as we'd never been there before. The mains were decent - fish n chips and smoked salmon Benedict. They didn't have a printed desert menu. That way you can't see how much they cost! The pistachio cheesecake was NOT worth $12. Again: the pistachio cheesecake was NOT worth $12. Not even close. Density of plutonium, taste most closely resembled something that had been congealed, and I got the general sense that it'd been sitting for a while. Was ok overall, but I wouldn't rush back there any time soon.

Disappointing. Mussels dry and rubbery. Paella not enough saffron and also dry. Hot pot had almost no fish. Wine selection very weird. Would avoid this place.

Our server Leah was fantastic! We would go back just for that reason alone.

The food was also outstanding! Fresh Halibut and fresh ahi tuna dinners were exceptional. Overall, a must try in White Rock. We’ll definitely be back.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Would have liked to have a window seat like requested a week in advance as the occassion was a first wedding anniversary but the service was pleasant and the food was amazing. Will definitely go back.

It’s our 2nd visit and we are still amazed by how fresh and tasty everything was on our table. Their staffs are so friendly and know so well about their food. Some dishes might seem expensive but for the quality and taste, I definitely think they are worth it.

We enjoyed our experience with Five Kitchen & Oyster Bar. My husband had their March feature of Filet Mignon & Lobster and found it exceptional in both taste and presentation. The crabcakes were also delicious. The service was prompt and our server was friendly and attentive. Although we did find it rather pricey. The construction fences for the pier and promenade improvements by the city were up, but once completed, the view would be lovely, especially at sunset.

Great service, great food and lovely location! Very accommodating as they were very happy to adjust for any food allergies (shellfish & dairy), which was much appreciated. Food tasted so fresh, which is why I'm sure they can adjust for allergies (usually cheese is mixed into everything already, but they were able to do all the dishes we ordered with no cheese!).

Food was fantastic, had the 5 course meal and I was amazed. The raw scallops were thinly cut and tasted phenomenal. Did not expect such high food based upon the restaurant front. Servers were perfect, coming to us when needed and let us enjoy our meal. Highly recommend.

Great food. I made a reservation a week or so ago and said it was for a 50th Birthday and wanted a cozy booth. Got there no booths available except half booth. 🙄. A little disappointed. The owner didn’t seem to care. Anyways the server was fantastic!!!!! She really catered to us as she did with other tables. The food was delicious as always.

Food tasted good but service was so poor our food was cold when we actually got it. Took forever to get our drink orders. Considering the menu prices I would expect better service and hot food when served. It was really disappointing as we had a party of 10 and we were very neglected.

Awesome anniversary evening by candlelight! The electricity went out on the entire beachfront but all went on almost as usual. The staff worked well together to make it a memorable evening for all! Food and service was great. We will be back for sure. Kudos👍🏼
