   This restaurant is closed. Another restaurant - a noisy bar and grill is in its location. So disappointed that we drove 40 miles to find it had CLOSED. We tried phoning and number was disconnected. Please take FIVE off your listings.

   Restaurant V has been closed for over a month. Your stupid site allowed me to make a reservation and continued to send me reminders confirming my reservation! This was a very special day with my son graduating from college and we were planning on a very nice dining experience. Only to find out the place was CLOSED. Thanks for nothing! We will never recommend or trust your site ever again.

   Ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. In addition to them having no flavor we didn’t get plates for the course. The main course wasn’t hot and didn’t have much flavor. No atmosphere whatsoever. We’ve been happy in the past but this was definitely a downer.

   Very nice place and wonderful service. We had the pork chops and the chicken. The pork chops were good but the chicken was very disappointing and the high price did not match the quality. Still, lovely folks working there made the experience a good one and we'll likely give it another chance some day.

    We have gone to the Five on many special occasions and have been delighted with both food and service On the 15th the appetizer was burnt and not edible And my steak was cold and dry. We were very disappointed. If it had been our first time we wouldn’t go back. Our server was excellent and offered to comp part of the bill. We didn’t want that. We want the restaurant to b successful.

    A teaspoon of polenta under an overcooked pork chop with a side of burnt red cabbage. The presentation on the plate was ghastly—-on par with the food. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient.

    This restaurant is working to find its identity. I booked it for a special event, and while I was glad to try it, based in this experience it won't be a favorite. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was alright, but felt like it was missing something to make it special. And the food was hit and miss - especially for the price. The burger was really tasty, but our appetizer and salad were not at all worth the prices. I wish I could give a better review, but unfortunately, our special evening together turned into a disappointment.

    We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very relaxed and pleasant. The salmon my husband had was cooked to perfection! It melted in his mouth it was so good! The apple pie was really good, would have been better with ice cream, but the whipped cream on top was delicious! The fried Brussel sprouts appetizer was different but good. We will return.

    Five was our favorite date night and celebration spot. The food was amazing when Mariel was the chef. Ever since she left the food has gone down hill. The drinks are always amazing. But this last time we missed Caleb and his bartender as they were at their new second location and it showed. The staff looked like they were making drinks for themselves. I felt a little forgotten when we we’re ready for our check. Overall I don’t recommend Five any more.

    Outstanding service and spectacular food. The bacon wrapped dates and smoked salmon dip were fantastic appetizers. The burger is one of the best I’ve ever had and the salmon is literally the best in my life. A unique twist on a spring salad and delicious lobster cakes rounded out the table. I highly recommend Five for special occasions or just a night out for some of the best meals in Manhattan.

    The ambiance both inside and out were fun. Our server was outstanding, he was engaging, knew about the beers offered and made suggestions when asked. He truly seemed to love his job. They had a good microbrew and cocktail list. The menus online is not what is currently offered, we went looking for things no longer available. Their “limited menus” is VERY limited. Steaks and burgers were great but the smoked salmon dip was not very good, it tasted leftover. We will be back!

    Great food and great atmosphere. We sat at a high top near the door. The noise was minimal but the main dining area was a bit louder. Service was very strong but we wanted to take our time and enjoy dinner and our guests. The steak and potato “cake” was fantastic but the broccolini was a little salty for my taste. Others had the salmon and the chicken. All were pleased. It was a limited menu - 4 entrees - but we had 3 of them and were not disappointed.

    Horrible. Restaurant wasn't full, we had a reservation, and we waited 30 min for someone to take our drink order and bring menus. Claimed they were out of burgers 30 min after taking our orders, yet continued to serve them to surrounding diners. Potatoes were so charred, black and salty I couldn't eat them. The steak they replaced the burgers with was terrible and cold. Multiple tables sent food back repeatedly, that we witnessed. Cesar salad had no dressing. We even told the waitress, who brought out the owner, told him too. He apologized, but was awkward, almost disengenuous. If this is a slow night, I can't imagine a typical Friday.

    Five is a nice place with good food. We’ve eaten here several times while visiting Manhattan. My only complaint is they should update their booths. The vinyl was crack and scratchy on skin if wearing a dress or shorts. Food and service is good though. We would recommend to others visiting.
