   Five is a nice place with good food. We’ve eaten here several times while visiting Manhattan. My only complaint is they should update their booths. The vinyl was crack and scratchy on skin if wearing a dress or shorts. Food and service is good though. We would recommend to others visiting.

   The food was amazing!! The chef personalized our entrees to us due to one person in our party having a food allergy. He came and spoke with us and made us something totally off menu…it was delicious! The drinks were great too. Can’t wait to go back.

    There were only four entrées on the menu and they were out of one of them. The brussels sprouts appetizer they served did not even have any brussels sprouts in it except for maybe two. They did not have the wine that I initially ordered but it came in while we were having dinner.

    Excellent food, quiet, understated. The only TVs were by the bar, which my wife and I both appreciate - we go out to be with each other, not watch TV. Our main server was very good, very professional. All the service was good. The only complaint is a bit of a nitpick - while I appreciate being asked if everything is going well and if we need anything, I think it was slightly overdone - at one point we felt like we were being interrupted every five minutes. I would just suggest to them that they don't need to check quite that often. However the overall experience was excellent. We liked that there is a small menu - that generally indicates a sign of good quality since the kitchen can really focus on making a few outstanding dishes, rather than a bunch of OK ones. My wife got the bistro steak and I go the lamb bolognese - both were delicious. Our server's recommended wine pairings were both well-chosen. For dessert I got the cheesecake; my wife is gluten-free and while they did not have an official dessert that she could have, they got here vanilla ice-cream with their homemade caramel sauce; it was all very good. We will definitely go back some time. Note - the menu for this restaurant on OpenTable is outdated from when this was della Voce. The new menu is on their website.

    DON’T MISS OUT. It’s my go to restaurant when I am visiting from out of town. Food quality is amazing, elevating comfort foods to a creative and most delicious and enjoyable meal. Outstanding service, drinks are really great and very unique.

    From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious! The service was amazing and we will be back the next time we are in town. Definitely on par with restaurants in NYC and San Francisco. The absolutely best burger I have ever had!!

    I love this place! They always meet you with a warm smile and do everything to make you feel loved. l love their new menu and specials. They offer great variety of food, suitable for people with different tastes. Cocktails are terrific! Although there are many wonderful places to eat in Manhattan, I, personally, prefer to go to Five lately.

    Absolutely wonderful! The entire staff who worked on Sunday January 30th was so awesome! I had a larger group and they paid great attention to us and had the best customer service. I have never had a bad experience here. Great food, great drinks and great staff!

    This is always a great place. The staff is ALWAYS phenomenal. It has never mattered the time of day, busy or not...they are just wonderful. I think the menu is always interesting and the food is good. Really, eating here is an experience that is fun and elegant without being pretentious.

    You might think I'm biased because I personally know the people that work here but I can unequivocally say that I am not one to mince words if food isn't up to par regardless of who is serving it and last night the food was on point. I had the Fall Salad and the Lamb Bolognese and I have not had fresh handmade pasta that perfect since I left Seattle - and I don't say that lightly, pasta is one of those foods that when done right can create perfect contentment and feel like love but when done wrong can leave you feeling heavy and dissatisfied - this pasta was perfect. The complexity of flavors and proper portions made it probably one of my top five meals in the last six months. It was also clear that the salad had multiple house-made ingredients - pickled pears, roasted honey dressing and sugared peanuts created the perfect balance of tart and sweet over the fresh greens and currants. The continuous thread in everything I tried (I also had bites of a pureed green bean soup and nibbles of steak tacos on duck fat fried tortillas) were the subtle and complex flavor profiles that underscored each dish - bringing out the flavors of the ingredients, complimenting them without overpowering them. I seek food I can't easily make myself when I'm going out for a fancy meal and if you do too I highly suggest getting over to this restaurant. The menu changes with the seasons so there is also always something new to try. Enjoy.

    Much better than expected. Have eaten at a lot of restaurants locally. And despite Five’s relatively newness; the food was delicious and prompt. Service wasn’t too bad, and neither were the drinks. Would recommend and look forward to returning.
