   This was a total flop for my family and I. If you grew up eating authentic desi food, just go to your moms house and save your money. The mocktails and the dehi chaat style item were definitely delicious. Those were the first things served and so the bar was set high. Unfortunately everything after that was not great. The behl was quite dry, the kebabs were yogurt inside (no meat!) and the achar paneer—yikes. Achar is meant to be a condiment, not the primary source of flavor. And it was so strong. I added my leftover paneer on top of my leftover biryani the next day (along with a little bit more of mom’s added touch) and it was much better. And—I came with a party of 5 adults and they crammed us into a space that was realistically two single tables pushed together in a corner. We were quite cramped the entire meal, and there was a large 6 person table open behind us for the entire 2 hour duration of our meal.

   Initially very pleased, but quality of waitstaff, at least ours which was multiple people seriously declined from our previous time here. Food was excellent & and well defined when asking. Some of it was very crumbly in consistency & made the table messy. We had to ask the waiter to clean it, rather than grabbing a cloth, he seemed to use a folded piece of paper scraping the crumbs rudely across the table, which was ineffective, rude and not professional. When placing our desert order, It seemed to have been totally forgotten. They brought our teas, which were tepid at best, and after asking multiple times about the desserts, they kept saying “almost ready” 15 minutes later still had not arrived. We well over minutes for dessert, with no forewarning, they really need to have better trained waitstaff. The food was always very tasty, but the seriously poorly trained detracted from what should have been a deliciously lovely dinner.

   The food at Fitoor Restaurant was amazing, especially the Achari Paneer and Gulab Jamun Cremrole. The service was fantastic too—both the servers and the manager checked in after each course to ask how the food was.

   Beautiful interiors- gorgeous bar area. We were not as familiar with Indian cuisine so our nice waitstaff made suggestions. Delicious food!
