With only four tables back in 1989 "Don Simon" and his family; Jazmin his wife, and their three children; Charles, Simon and Gabriel opened the first Fisher's in Mexico City. With only 12 items on its menu, Fisher's became a destination in the northern area of Mexico City.

Great ambience, great service and the food was delicious. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have any items under the octopus menu which is one of my favorite go-to items. However, I was suggested to try another octopus appetizer that satisfied my craving for octopus that was seasoned with spicy seasonings. I also had the salmon habanero lime carpaccio and the coconut cream brûlée which were so good! I’ll definitely be back to try their array of seafood items!

First timers here. We were excited to try out Fishers. Service was great, appetizers solid. We ordered paella and were sorely disappointed. Our server advised us that it would take 1/2 hour to prep as they started each dish from scratch. That sounded great. Our paella arrived 10 minutes later before we had finished our appetizers. The dish was not fresh. Not made from scratch. Probably had an old plate and reheated. Not a great review but deserved. We won’t be going back.

Great food in terms of taste and selections. This is an upper level seafood spot with a Baja Mexican influence! Very different from your typical seafood spot but very much worth it in all aspects of fine dining!

We had a great experience at Fisher’s. The food was innovative, light, and delicious. I would call is ‘Mexican-Asian- fusion! Our waiter made a huge difference by making great recommendations for ‘shared’ dishes. We were able to sample about 8 different dishes- all of which we loved. The first food came quickly and the timing of the additional dishes was ideal. I can’t wait to go back to San Diego to go there.

Everyone that you speak to from the owner to the hostess, waitress,and chef all care about this business and their customers. The food is amazing. We highly recommend them and will drive from Riverside just to eat our favorite dishes.

Not impressed. I could have cooked in my own kitchen the dish I ordered. Service was slow and not on par for a restaurant that's asking the prices that they do. If you want to drop $300 on dinner for two people, go to Callie.

Like no other Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Original seafood dishes with incredible sauces. The service is 5 star as well. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. The margaritas and mezcalitas were strong and delicious. Outstanding overall.

Went in with high expectations as been a recognized Mexican Seafood restaurant from Mexico City could not be a miss. Good service but not exceptional when we were all seated and the order was taken we were told that is better is we order all the food cause they were going to get busier which we did l, never expecting all the food to come out at once and feeling rushed to eat, plus the plates barely fit in the table. The food was just OK, out of the 12 different plates we ordered nothing was good enough to come back and try it. As for the ambience, the place never got full, at the most there was about 5 tables filled. Better Mexican seafood restaurants out there or maybe a great place to spend Friday or Saturday evening drinking and just having appetizers

We unfortunately found the food to be pretty bad. The service was great, but the food felt like an interpretation of Mexican food that was also designed specifically to fit American palettes. The service was great, and people were so friendly, but the food was just not good. And it was also extremely expensive. I would gladly pay $17 for a lobster taco if it tasted amazing, but it was so salty, and there was way too much sauce/not enough lobster. The amount of rice they give you on the side is also comical. The paella too - $86! The shrimp were not deveined and all the seafood was overcooked and did not taste fresh. I also wish there was a bit of crispy rice at the bottom, but everything was just soft and a bit greasy.

Fishers came highly recommended to us. We went on a Thursday night and perhaps the sparsely filled room was a clue. The food was expensive. The waiter attentive and almost overly so with his multiple suggestions for additional drinks. The decor is very cool. There was no house specialty paella which is only available on the weekend so the waiter recommended the seafood and rice entree. It was dry and not worth the $27 price tag. The free seafood broth was flavorful and crunchy chips tasty. We also ordered octopus and fish tacos (both ok)and the seafood soup (very good).With all the restaurants to go to, we won’t be going back to this one.

Increíble Mexican style seafood. Great ambiance and superb service. Authentic recipes with lots of flavor. They have great paella on the weekends, some pasta dishes and meat cuts. Some of my favorites are the tuna tostadas, caracol sashimi (a must) and Simons fish cuts!

Best Mexican style seafood restaurant in town (by far). Authentic dishes, some of my favorites are smoked tuna cochinita tacos, caracol and Simons Fish cuts. Guacamole and the Tatemada Salsa are delicious. Service was spectacular! If you go on a weekend, order the Paella! Definitely will go back.

The good news: the service was very good. Our server was courteous and prompt. The bad news: the food was just ok. My wife had salmon and still had pin bones. Our adult daughter is allergic to all nuts and they kept forgetting that key issue when suggesting food.

It was simply incredible, if you want to experience, authentic Mexican fish, and seafood dishes you need to go to Fishers. You must try the ahi tuna tostadas, smoked tuna cochinita tacos, Simons Fish Cuts (outstanding) and Peruvian ceviche! Incredible service!

Jessie our server was great, he new the menu gave feedback if we had questions about the entrees, super friendly and attentive. We started with some shrimp tacos, very good tasting, then we ordered the salmon habanero tirado to which was delicious, the white fish tiradero I did not like it you could not taste the Yuzu, it needed more acidity it tasted like if honey had been added to it, very sweet for me. We finished with the Mediterranean octopus which was a great finally to our food, it was very tender great flavors, deliciously prepared. For dessert the taco banana was delicious, the flan also very good!

If you’ve been to the ones in Mexico, the menu is a bit reduced but still very good. Quality was good, service was good, overall it was a fun spot to have lunch with the family. Quite family friendly and the food was fairly priced. Thumbs up!
