Really nice food and at a reasonable price. Great service. Lovely little restaurant.
An absolutely superb seafood 🦞 restaurant great service and incredible delish food. A real gem to eat in within Clifton.
Food very good. COVID pinged staff not at work, so service was a bit slow but understandable with few staff
Loved dining at Fishers on Saturday evening, we were so impressed with the service from the minute we walked through the door, we were greeted & seated & served by a really lovely waitress, who showed great customer service skills, she was chatty & friendly & along with the food being totally delish, it all made our dining experience one to remember. The menu is fantastic, I struggled what to have because it all sounded wonderful & the food on the next table looked amazing .
Sadly the only downside is that we live too far away to make it a regular treat
Lovely fresh fish and great service
Great quality food with well balanced flavours. Staff friendly but service was quite delayed on this occasion.
Excellent service and food
Our second time here since the end of Lockdown and another lovely experience. A good selection of seafood available, nicely cooked and attentively served. What more could you want?
I was expecting better. Although I found the fish nice enough, it took a very long time to be brought to the table. I hope Fisher's improve now to become a top rated seafood restaurant which is much needed in Bristol.
We had booked dinner at Fishers outside. After some trouble finding parking we were 7 minutes late for our reservation and we’re very disappointed when we saw the staff give away our table. We ended up with a table tagged on at the end of a porch area on the street but without any of the heaters and nice chairs.
Promises to find us a better spot were made but nothing was done.
Service was very slow.
Food was ok.
We won’t come back.
Very good family run fish restaurant. Attentive staff. Menu a bit shorter than on web site BUT food fantastic
In good location for a quick stroll to the Clifton suspension bridge. Was worth the Uber (approx. £7) out of the centre of Bristol
Haven’t had such a delicious fish dinner in a very long time. I would recommend this place!
First time here. A lovely small restaurant. Food was great and the staff were helpful. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others.
Been here a few times over the years and latest visit was not so good. Bit tight on the portions. No veg served and not suggested at point of ordering so ended up with fish & potatoes! Can recommend the banana fritters for dessert, very tasty.
Although the food was lovely , we had checked the menu on Open Table and it showed special 2course lunch at £12.95. But when we placed our order we were told this was no longer offered. We spent a lot more that expected and we ordered 3 white wine spritzers and we were charged over £10 each !
Service and atmosphere excellent too
Amazing restaurant with spectacular service! Food menu was exceptional so incredibly fresh and the wine extremely reasonable
Great food and excellent service. Highly recommend a visit to Fishers.
Service quite slow but the waitress was very friendly. they had already run out of our starters at 7.30 so we chose calamari which were cold but we ate them as we had waited so long!
Sat outside and it was very pleasant.
Good food well prepared and nicely presented by very pleasant staff. Can't wait to revisit.
We had a lovely, relaxing dinner at Fisher’s! Sat inside a restaurant for the first time in over a year!
Made easy by the very pleasant seevice
Great food and great service. Very welcoming and highly recommended.
Welcoming local fish restaurant, serving the local community for twenty years… outstanding hospitality and a great menu.
The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Its not super fancy. Its a comfortable place to have have a nice meal and I will be visiting again soon.
Nice food. Not enough time between courses. Was rushed.
Great food and service- great outdoor seating too.
Birthday dinner for my Mum and left feeling disappointed. Special arrangements made for her bday forgotten about til after started looking at menus. Birthday desert for mum discussed in booking never materialised. Had to get up and ask for service such as more drinks and table to be cleared. No hand soap in the bathroom - soap bottle filled with alcohol gel. Expressed disappointment at end of meal - waiter polite but minimal effort made other than an apology to correct situation.
Great fish and seafood, good chips. Always quality food and service.
Great to be back in Clifton and be able to go to Fishers again as they get back up to speed. Lovely evening.
Great GF menu options. Yummy starter and main course. Unfortunately they’d run out of sticky toffee pudding and banana fritters so skipped desert - ice cream options were available though.
We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, however we were disappointed with the available menu. No oysters, scallops, crab or lobster. No specials. Lobster was served to another table even though it wasn’t on the daily menu. We did ask if any other dishes were available, we had checked the menu before we’d booked the table some weeks before.
I had the Thai fish cakes which were tasty, my husband had the whitebait he enjoyed it. My main - salmon with curried rice was also nice however, the salmon was over cooked. Nice meal just not amazing.
Excellent food. Lovely upstairs table with open window. Just a little pricey.
The service quality did not match the food’s. Old fashioned, dripping in butter and heavy sauces and not the best value for money. I’m sure the fish is great to buy and take home to cook yourself but this is not quality cooking... thank you again for the service but don’t think I will return unless there is a proper change in the cooking style.
Lovely Friday night out, the food was terrific, the service was good, maybe a little slow, but they were very busy, will come back, enjoyed our night.
This was a very nice restaurant, food was very good very reasonable priced. Will definitely go back
Excellent seafood - good range of options, and everything lovely and fresh.
The best mushroom sauce I've had in a while. Only issue there were bones in my pan fried sole
Loved the food and wish there was one in reading
Lovely staff! Great value for money.
The fish and chips was lovely!
I was really looking forward to coming to Fishers for the sea food platter but unfortunately they did not have it and also a very limited menu which was a bit of a shame. I got the mussels and prawn starters as a main and overall it was nice. The sticky toffee pudding is great too. Will hopefully be back when they have the platter back on.
Excellent food, service a little slow but worth waiting for.
