Chef waiting tables
Beautiful food and friendly, professional service
Lovely meals always at this restaurant. We have been eating here for years and it never disappoints. Wait staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. For that special night out we could not recommend more highly
Friendly helpful service. Prices for meals and wines are fairly pricey. Really good coffee.
Very delicious and very aesthetic !
Highly recommended, staff are very friendly and provide a great service. The fisherman’s platter for 2 was great value and very filling.
Recommend trying fisherman’s pier for dinner!
We have been here a few times and are never disappointed. Love the food, great wine list and of course the view.
Have come here for over 35 years for special occasions but this this time was not up to past standards.
Good experience. We will visit Fisherman's Pier again in the near future.
Very enjoyable evening lovely staff nothing was too much trouble
Food and service were great, but prices are unjustifiably expensive for the dishes presented. Paid $20 for one glass of scotch and $10 for water. Meals are also way overpriced.
Good experience but wouldn't go back again any time soon.
I would highly recommend the Seafood Chowder and they have great wine choices.
Service was good,timely and friendly.
I did want a lobster/cray as it was a special occassion but it not available.
But meals served were very good.
Food was excellent. Only had one server working but he did a great job considering.
Food and Service was Spot on!
We would highly recommend.
Lobster with garlic butter was amazing, aswell as the entree squid and dessert puddings
Food was delicious staff were nice around it was a fantastic start to our night. Would highly recommend
We were looking for a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, so we selected Fisherman's Pier. We were not disappointed! Not only did the seafood dishes look mouth-watering when served, the presentation and taste were both perfect!
Had a great night food was really good, service was fantastic special thanks to our waitress, made us a fantastic amaretto sour!!
Delicious food, great view, attentive and friendly staff, plenty to choose from on the lunch menu, and a fuss made for a special birthday. Very happy.
Oysters were fantastic
We felt the lobster was over done
( little tough)
All four main meals were brought out together and all were extremely enjoyable. Possibly , a little quicker on the drinks supply would be the only thing that could improve. However , a very enjoyable day was held.
The seafood was fresh and of good quality, cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly, attentive, and professional.
Such a beautiful restaurant with incredible food and service. The lighting was a little disappointing as it lacked atmosphere and was a bit too bright & glary for intimate dining. Next time would go for lunch to enjoy the views. Food was delicious!
We were right on the water.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hot and cold platter was brilliant.
We will definitely be back.
When we arrived, there was confusion over our table. It had to be cleaned down and reset. We were then seated and forgotten about.
It took at least ten minutes to get someone's attention to take our order. My wine arrived followed by the oysters, which we finished before my daughter's cocktail arrived.
The service was haphazard.
The food was fine.
Beautiful food, excellent service and the staff all spoiled my mum for her 70th birthday. Patrons were seated away from each other which made it easy to have a private quiet lunch.
Excellent dusted squid!
Beautiful location and lovely atmosphere. The entree was amazing and the mains looked great, however, the oven baked salmon was very oily and looked and tasted pan fried. There was chili in the salad underneath, which was not mentioned in the description of the dish. The lobster ravioli was nice, if under seasoned, and there was no salt or pepper on the table.
The staff were very friendly, but not very attentive - they did not refill empty water glasses and left finished plates on the table for a long while. It was a quiet evening and there were sufficient staff.
Amazing food and service, will definitely be back!
Food was delicious and full of flavour. Chowder was to die for.
A very enjoyable night. The service staff were friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful.
As a local who hadn't been to Fishermans Pier for a very long time, we were blown away.
We will be back.
I was satisfied overall but the price was very. Especially they do not accept BYO and liquor was very expensive.
For various reasons I was extremely disappointed in my lunch yesterday. I will not be going back there anytime soon
Food was ok, service was grrat
Place looked beautiful with a nice view of the port. Food was delicious. Flash fried barramundi, pappardelle pasta and ravioli with fish and chips. Everything was beautiful and would love to come back again. Was just a bit disappointed we could not experience their lunch menu.
One of the best seafood platters in Geelong. Excellent waitresses. Great service
I am used to a more extensive dessert menu and more creative. What is online does not match what is available eg Duck breast.
My meal was supposed to have an Asian salad. The salad was so minute I ordered a side garden salad.
Service was slow to start. Waitress was inexperienced in opening wine bottle with a corkscrew. Interesting to watch. We ordered the seafood platter which was substantial but very expensive. The crab in the cold course was empty of any meat and unpleasant tasting. We were offered a lame excuse, an apology and the opportunity to have extra food! A small discount should have been the result but not offered. The hot platter quickly got cool so maybe should have been served in stages? The wine is expensive and we thought a bit limited. Nice position on the waterfront. There was a noisy group at the other end of the restaurant that reduced the intimacy of the setting. We think that it would have been better to have ordered individual items rather than the platter. Overall the evening was OK but not as special as we would have hoped for a wedding anniversary. (We noted that it was our anniversary on the booking but not acknowledged when we were there as other venues have).
They seafood pasta was perfect! Delicious food and excellent customer service. The water views and Ironman event just added to the experience. Highly recommend.
