Beautiful night out. The service, ambience and food were all very good.
Even though there was only 10 allowed the service was good and the food beautiful.
I know lock down and all but the mussels served were disgusting they were frozen left overs that were stringy with no bulk, the seafood bisque was way below par with tiny scallops and prawns again frozen. Sorry for the price I won’t sugar coat it should be all fresh the fresh seafood market is just in town and the mussel boat is right next door no excuse. The waitress however on the night was fantastic.
Thank you for a wonderful evening. Service was perfect, wonderful ambience, food, drinks all delicious!
I’ve wanted to dine with you for many years and can honestly say I was not disappointed. Everything was fine except there was only 1 waitress wearing a mask, a waiter with one below his nose and the rest not wearing one at all including the waitress who attended us most of the time. I felt uncomfortable about it and wished I had said something at the time. We all live in Portarlington but were not checked so could have come from anywhere in a lockdown. Shame the current rules were not followed but that’s not to say I wouldn’t return in easier times
I was very disappointed . We were seated upstairs which I was looking forward to. Until we got to our table and noticed that the tv was on showing horse racing. Then I ordered my gin and tonic and there was a plastic straw in it. Totally unacceptable in today’s world when we should be more mindful of our environment and reducing plastics. I can go on but I won’’t . We will not be returning !
We will definitely come back again. Nice staff, very yummy food, fresh seafood.
Paying $40+ per meal that didn’t wow us. Location is lovely and has potential with more silver service experienced staff. Horse racing on a TV took the ambiance from 4-5 to 2-3, felt like we were at a bar, not a nice restaurant.
We didn’t feel like hanging around for dessert and coffee like we normally would have.
There aint much i can say about this establishment except do your self a huge favour and book a table and ENJOY.
Best meal I've had in a very long time.
Would highly recommend even for families and little kids.
My wife enjoyed her overall meal, the entree I felt was a bit too salty, my main was blain in flavour but I did enjoy the dessert and the wine.
Food and service were amazing, the environment was good as well. Definitely a decent place to go to
We love having lunch here when we visit Geelong. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is so relaxing sat overlooking the water. The staff are super friendly and I would recommend to all.
Dining experience was amazing, food was absolutely delicious and service was flawless. Thankyou for making our celebration memorable.
Lighting was horrible
Food was inedible
Service was bad but amusing as waiter told us he is a carpenter but hes done a course!!
Music was doof doof
Chef waiting tables
Beautiful food and friendly, professional service
Lovely meals always at this restaurant. We have been eating here for years and it never disappoints. Wait staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. For that special night out we could not recommend more highly
Friendly helpful service. Prices for meals and wines are fairly pricey. Really good coffee.
Very delicious and very aesthetic !
Highly recommended, staff are very friendly and provide a great service. The fisherman’s platter for 2 was great value and very filling.
Recommend trying fisherman’s pier for dinner!
We have been here a few times and are never disappointed. Love the food, great wine list and of course the view.
Have come here for over 35 years for special occasions but this this time was not up to past standards.
Good experience. We will visit Fisherman's Pier again in the near future.
Very enjoyable evening lovely staff nothing was too much trouble
Food and service were great, but prices are unjustifiably expensive for the dishes presented. Paid $20 for one glass of scotch and $10 for water. Meals are also way overpriced.
Good experience but wouldn't go back again any time soon.
I would highly recommend the Seafood Chowder and they have great wine choices.
Service was good,timely and friendly.
I did want a lobster/cray as it was a special occassion but it not available.
But meals served were very good.
Food was excellent. Only had one server working but he did a great job considering.
Food and Service was Spot on!
We would highly recommend.
Lobster with garlic butter was amazing, aswell as the entree squid and dessert puddings
Food was delicious staff were nice around it was a fantastic start to our night. Would highly recommend
We were looking for a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, so we selected Fisherman's Pier. We were not disappointed! Not only did the seafood dishes look mouth-watering when served, the presentation and taste were both perfect!
Had a great night food was really good, service was fantastic special thanks to our waitress, made us a fantastic amaretto sour!!
Delicious food, great view, attentive and friendly staff, plenty to choose from on the lunch menu, and a fuss made for a special birthday. Very happy.
Oysters were fantastic
We felt the lobster was over done
( little tough)
All four main meals were brought out together and all were extremely enjoyable. Possibly , a little quicker on the drinks supply would be the only thing that could improve. However , a very enjoyable day was held.
The seafood was fresh and of good quality, cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly, attentive, and professional.
Such a beautiful restaurant with incredible food and service. The lighting was a little disappointing as it lacked atmosphere and was a bit too bright & glary for intimate dining. Next time would go for lunch to enjoy the views. Food was delicious!
We were right on the water.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hot and cold platter was brilliant.
We will definitely be back.
When we arrived, there was confusion over our table. It had to be cleaned down and reset. We were then seated and forgotten about.
It took at least ten minutes to get someone's attention to take our order. My wine arrived followed by the oysters, which we finished before my daughter's cocktail arrived.
The service was haphazard.
The food was fine.
