Very nice place food was great but on the costly side to many additional taxes but the experience was very nice.
It was excellent, would surely come again
My second time visiting. And I’ve just booked my third visit. I think I’ve found my new hang out. Once again the service was exceptional. The food was delicious. Nevis was still in the background. I’ll give my overall experience 100%. Literally the best restaurant on the island.
Lovely environment. Nice drinks.
Pleasant staff. Comforting and relaxing. Definitely a place to unwind.
My expectation wasn’t met I had the stake was too salt my girl had the fish was way to soft the shrimp pineapple was amazing the conch had way to much batter and way to crunchy
Can't go wrong choosing Fisherman's Village. Food and service was awesome!.
The food at Fisherman's Village was fresh and very tasty.
Such a wonderful venue. With the picturesque Nevis view. Definitely worth every penny spent. The team were so polite and helpful and gentle. Such an amazing experience.
Restaurant followed COVID-19 protocols. They good and ambiance were great. Service outstanding even though with the limitations that imposed the COVID -19 protocols
Great experience! A must try! Really enjoyed the food, the steak was fantastic!
The restaurant was marketed as open but did not have any of its normal menu items and the regular chef wasn’t even working. For what we paid it wasn’t worth it at all.
Dear Kristen, Thanks so much for your valued feedback. As we are reopening Fisherman's Village in a slightly different format, our guest's feedback is essential. As a result, we are now offering daily Chef's specials in addition to our existing menu. We have also expanded our cocktails list and revised the pricing based on comments received. Finally, we are launching a Loyalty Program with many perks like complimentary food & beverage and discounts on your total check. With warm regards, AN
Fisherman’s Village just reopened after closing because of the pandemic. The protocols in place were excellent. We wore face masks as did the staff. The wait staff also wore disposable gloves. We were asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering and our temperatures were taken before being seated. Tables are well spaced. All drinks were served with plastic coverings that the staff removed with tongs. The only drawback was that the menu was limited but our waitress explained that this was their first weekend open and management would expand the menu going forward. The food was very good and the service was superb. The menus were sanitized when we returned them to our waitress. We were offered hand sanitizer before leaving our table. There are numerous hand sanitizer stations around the property.
Dear Patricia, We are thrilled to be welcoming our valued guests again and even more excited to see you enjoyed your experience. While we have a modified menu at the moment, we are also offering daily specials. They are created daily by our culinary team following Hyatt's philosophy of Food Thoughtfully Sourced, Carefully Served. We will also be launching a very interesting loyalty program in the next weeks. Stay tuned for more information! Looking forward to welcoming you back soon. - AN
This was probably my favorite meal while on the island. The ceviche was incredible!!!!! I still think about it. Service was on point and the view was gorgeous.
The Hyatt is a beautiful facility. Fisherman's Village sits over the Caribbean and has a world class view of it. The food was very good but not James Beard award winning. We were there in the evening, 7:30, and found that it seems to be the Hyatt's family dinning restaurant, meaning there were a lot of very young children there. They were well behaved so it was not an issue.
In summary, it you have the money, go and enjoy. If you are looking to splurge one time, there are better places to blow the budget for that one special night out.
Something to consider, when you dine out to overlook the Caribbean, eat early so you can enjoy the view while there is still some light.
My wife, daughter and I ate at Fisherman’s Village on New Year’s Eve, celebrating our 25th anniversary. Location is great, with views of Nevis across the channel. We shared the crab dip as an appetizer, which was excellent. My daughter and I each had the shrimp curry, which was very good, and my wife had the cioppino, which also was very good. Definitely would return next time in St Kitts or Nevis.
I would absolutely recommend requesting the Gazebo if you have a small party of 8-10 people.
Absolutely amazing meal, and I’m not a huge fan of buffets. They had enough choices, but not overwhelming amounts of food. The people are so kind, ambience is relaxing and enjoyable. Looking forward to a return visit.
Love the vibes at the Fisherman's village, its actually one of my favourites out of the three restaurants at Park Hyatt. Laid back
Everything was perfect. The food was fresh and tasty
This is my favourite restaurant at Park Hyatt. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting.
The food is outstanding along with the service. We enjoy sitting at the bar with Glen and Chantal. They are fabulous.
Food was incredible. Went for the bbq and it was 5 stars. The band was just very loud and you couldn’t hold a conversation. It was at the point of ear piercing
They have a beautiful presentation, as well as an eye to detail. A must when you stay at the Park Hyatt.
A must go if you're in St. Kitts. The experience was satisfying on so many levels. I think the best time to go to this restaurant is before the season gets started.
Food and service was excellent, and they were great about modifying the seafood pasta dish for a vegetarian. I had the spiny lobster poached. This restaurant is all outdoors and on the water. The view is lovely and they have a very nice bar. The weather was perfect for our meal, but I can imagine dining could be a bit uncomfortable in high heat or heavy rain.
Eautiful fresh fish, expertly prepared and served with a smile right on the water. What could be better?
The setting is nice although there are better views to be had... there is no sunset view. The staff are pleasant although somewhat casual in demeanor. The different entree items we had were just OK. Lobster was way overcooked and tough in both meals. Without appetizers, desserts or any alcoholic beverages, the meal still came in at $140 US... which in my estimation is at least double what it should have been given the quality and taste.
We had a nice visit and meal at fisherman grill. We celebrated our 20th anniversary and they were aware of it and wished us a happy anniversary too. The carrot orange soup was fabulous. The scallop app was good. The risotto was amazing!! Chantal the bar tender makes some good drinks!!
We truly experienced 1st class service here. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. They ensured that every need was taken care of.
The food was also excellent. The portions were sufficient and tasted fantastic. We had a thoroughly enjoyable night and wish to commend the staff and management for their magnificent service.
Wonderful service and outstanding food! If you are local or staying at the Park Hyatt it is a definite recommend!
I found the decor pleasing and the service to be excellent. I was there for the father's day special so I do not know if it applies across the board but the menu is not extensive enough for the picky eater. The menu is skewed to persons who enjoy crustaceans and shellfish. I am not a crustacean or shellfish lover neither is my husband so the options for us were very limited on the menu. We prefer fish, many varieties, but that was not an option on the menu. What I would suggest therefore is to include more fish even in promotions this would allow you to cater to a wider variety of clientele.
Servers were very respectful and accommodating. Food was wonderful.
Our server was wonderful. I left an additional tip for her but my credit card was charged the original amount (additional tip was not included).
Service friendly , probably over staffed, but as yet untrained and therefore very slow. Kitchen was not busy but unable to deliver food in a reasonable time.
It was our second time dining here. We came back for new items we wanted to try. The manager, Stan, was so experienced and helpful and his enthusiasm for his job just increased our pleasure. Nice job.
Delicious food with friendly service and fun atmosphere. Wine was reasonably priced and food prices were fair. We enjoyed it very much.
Could be nice but for a party of 2 the tables are oddly set up in favor of large group tables that literally take over the room. Service was nice..food very good but the ambiance was disappointing.
Amazing magical ambiance, stellar staff, memorable delicious impeccable meal!
A lovely evening at the newly-opened Fisherman’s Village. The decor and staff were lovely, and the food was fresh and delicious. It was a wonderful option after a long day of travel from the States. Great bar for sunsets, with excellent cocktails.
