   Menu has been changed. Not a sit down restaurant. No table service. Complete horror show.

   To be fair the food might be fine, but we didn't find out because we left before ordering. Made our reservation based on my husband's family's previous great experience here several years ago, and the menu looked fantastic. When we showed up, there was no hostess, just a big sign saying to pick any open seat inside or out, and to place your order at the bar. So, immediately it was not the dining experience we were hoping for on our 5th anniversary. But, we found a seat outside by thd water (the patio is huge and gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed to enjoy it.) The menu on the table was just the small menu from the adjoining clam bar, which consists of 90% deep fried food and sandwiches. My husband went inside to ask if we could have menus for the main restaurant, and was told that they were only serving the clam bar menu. While we both enjoy fried apps and sandwiches, that's not what we'd come for and definitely not what we wanted for our anniversary dinner.

   I made a reservation with open table for 16th anniversary dinner and was greeted by no table service walk up window food plastic silverware and plates and self-service I feel that this should’ve been relayed to me prior to arrival Fishermans catch maître d’Told me they let open table know three weeks prior they were not excepting reservations I am very disappointed

   Don’t bother going until this Pandemic has passed. There are no waiters; food is ordered at the bar off of a pamphlet with a very downsized menu and then a busboy comes out with food and doesn’t know which table to bring it to even with a numerical designation at each table. When we got our crab cakes (which tasted and looked more like a veggie burger at $16 each!) I had to wait in line at the bar to get flimsy plastic utensils wrapped in plastic with a tiny napkin exactly like the ones you’d pick up in a KFC fast food restaurant and request Tartar sauce for our crab cakes. The busboy came minutes later with ONE tiny plastic side of Tartar sauce for our three crab cakes. I had to ask if they could have their own Tartar sauce. Our entrees came in a round tin you’d use for a doggy bag. It was cafeteria style eating at fine dining prices. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I understand restaurants are having a hard time now but we’ve been out to several restaurants in Long Beach to support them during this unprecedented time and ate out of REAL DISHES with REAL SILVERWARE. I’m afraid if this doesn’t change at Fisherman’s Catch, their days will be numbered and that would be sad since they’ve been a Point Lookout Staple for several years :( The only thing that kept us from walking out was the fabulous view.

   Waited 45 minutes for food. It was salmon and stuffed filet, not something fancy! Tasted ok, seafood not as fresh off the boat as suggested!

    Beautiful setting right in the water with Sunset Stacey our waitress was welcoming and made it a nice experience Food was very good! We all enjoyed!
