Food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. Management extremely personable and present to ensure you are having an optimal dining experience.
Lovely dining room; service great. Jumbo fish a bit smaller than usual. Lobster tacos good.
We were here a few days before and had a decent dining experience for lunch, we came back for dinner and both our dinner entrees tasted way past their prime, we didn't make a big stink but it will probably be a while before we dine here again.
Had to go back for Lobster Taco, stuffed with lobster. Hubby enjoyed the Jumbo Flounder Fillet. Will definitely return.
Food is awful
Always a good meal. Nice that it was quiet in the off season. Great service. One of our new fave places.
Amazing food n service
Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. The food was excellent. We had an issue with the service as the food took a long time, However, the manager Jose was very professional and made right of the situation. The waiter Andrew was also professional as well.
This restaurant is so lovely right on the water. The owners are so charming and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and great value. I have never seen Moore Lobster meat into lobster tacos, and the fried fish taco was an amazing treat for the price. I have been there before and dinner entrees are equally delicious. This place is a real find.
Wonderful Sunday brunch a full array of mouth watering foods breakfast items such as an omelet station French toast and pancakes as well as a carving station and assorted lunch type items such as chicken fish soup various types of salads and veggies and a really awesome dessert selection and to top it all off an amazing view that can't be beat a really great deal and includes a cocktail as well
I love the new look at the Fisherman's Catch. I haven't been there for a couple of years, but especially liked the fact that we could book our reservation and table online. We walked in and it was smooth sailing from there. We especially like our waiter, he was very respectful. Thank you.
The manager of the fishermen catch couldn’t of been nicer very warm welcome very attentive make sure that we were happy with our food and the service we need more like this guy terrific job
Great Experience. Very Friendly Staff and Delicious Food!!
We have been here several times. Food is fabulous. The service is great...you are not rushed. The restaurant is on the bay so the view is not only pretty but peaceful.
I love this place and when it is warm out it was delightful to be out on the water. It's all so lovely to be inside at any time with a water view. The food is quite good and the lobster tacos must have two full Lobster hours in there. The owner is absolutely charming and the waitress was very nice and efficient. My only complaint was that they had not advised me when I made the reservation that there would be a wedding going on so I was a little taken aback. However they status in the bar area and it wasn't quite as noisy as it would have been and we got used to it.
Had dinner at Fisherman’s Catch yesterday (Thanksgiving). Reservation made on open table. When we arrived at 6:00 and were seated we were informed due to the holiday only a buffet was available. This was the first I was told about it - nothing on Open Table indicated it. I would not have made the reservation if I knew it was buffet only. I was then told it was $55/person. Definitely not worth the price. The service was fair at best, always looking for someone to clear the plates. We ordered a bottle of wine and not once did a server refill our glasses. Water was never refined. Had to hunt for someone to bring coffee. The icing on the cake was they added 18% gratuity (we were a party of 2). There is no way a tip of 18% was deserved. No transparency. I’d never go back.
Great Bay View from any table
Great food and staff, location and view is amazing! Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner, great for big groups too, we had about 10.
I took my sister n to lunch. Couldn’t have been better. Service was fantastic. The food was glorious. We sat by the window on this very windy day watching white caps in the bay. Mother Nature and a great chef can’t be beat.
See you soon!
Yummy Sunday Bruch. You get plenty of choices that are healthy and not so healthy. It’s a wonderful buffet.
Great food ! Service was slow but the wait staff was very pleasant .
As always, we had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious, service great & non-intrusive, just a very nice evening.
Used to be our favorite restaurant for fresh fish. Seems to have changed big time. Their was no fresh, local fish anymore, the salmon was actually farm raised, and the choices seemed to be seafood that you could get anywhere, chicken, pastas. You no longer get a salad, yet the prices are high. I never minded paying for the delicious fresh fish we were always able to get there, but now, just another seafood place. What a shame. It used to be the best.
Excellent food and service with a beautiful waterfront view
Making a reservation was painless and very much appreciated. Lobster bisque should have had lobster in it. The waitress, Amy, was not pleasant and a bit snarky. My octogenarian parents do not hear as well as they used to. The facial dissatisfaction toward my Dad, for not hearing the selections fast enough, was more than I cared to swallow. (As a suggestion, when elderly people are in the party, do not seat them closest to the bar. ) The bread delivered to the table had 5 rolls for 7 people, and 4 pats of butter. Amy seemed annoyed to have to bring more bread and butter, when we requested the items. The food was enjoyed by all, when it finally arrived. My family enjoys a good meal, and does not mind paying for one as well. The $75.00 tip, given to Amy, should have been less, as was felt by all in our party that evening. Generally, we like to give any establishment a second chance when things are not up to par. Hopefully all will be better when we return.
Excellent Sunday Brunch. Great view and value. Will definitely go again.
Terrible service. Appetizers took twenty five minutes and when done another 55 minutes before main course. Restaurant was not that busy and no staff or manager came by to inform us of what the delay was about. Additionally, waitress never asked if we wanted another drink until main corse served.
I eat at this restaurant because of the awesome view from the deck and the pier, the friendly service and the tasty food.
Had a great lunch overlooking the water. Service was great as was the food. I have been here a number of times but this was my best experience. Gets very crowded most weekends. Would definitely return for lunch.
Food and service was excellent, menu was limited and way too pricey.
Very pretty restaurant but understaffed. Service was poor. Had to wait 35 minutes for the salad, and then another 35 minutes for the etnrees. The salmon was overcooked and dry, the shrimp were under seasoned and overcooked. The restaurant was not really crowded. Manager did reduce the bill by giving us free drinks, but it did not makeup for the time spent waiting and the poor quality food
Food was good but it was 45 minuets after our soup before we received our main course.
First time at the Fisherman’s Catch and last ! . Couldn’t tell you how the food was because dinner never came !!!. Could be better during the week but stay clear on a weekend . We had a 8pm reservation and they sat us around 8:30. We ordered drinks , appitizers and dinner at the same time . Drinks came , appitzers came . Shrimp cocktail was soggy and mussels were okay. After serval apologies by the waiter and couple of free soups by 10pm our food never
Came . We told the kitchen was busy . By 10 pm the resturaunt was already empty so we asked them to cancel the food and give us check. That prompted a visit from a manger
Who asked us why we couldn’t wait the Food ,it was coming . Lost appetites and anger
Got the best of us so they billed us only for the drinks . The “ manager” looked us like we were wrong . Just a terrible experience .
Went there specifically because I had purchased a groupon only to find out after getting my 150$ check that they don’t accept Groupons on Friday’s. Only Monday to Wednesday. Hopefully I may be able to stop by on a mon day for lunch. If not I just got screwed
We have frequented this restaurant for at least ten years if not longer. We were there a year ago only to find that the ownership had taken on a younger partner who made changes to the menu for the worse. We decided that we would give it another chance this August since we had loved it in earlier years. The service is poor, the staff is poorly trained, and are not welcoming. The server brought a dish of crab cakes to be shared and just put it down at the table without providing each of us with separate plates. The waitress had an attitude. The food was poorly prepared and certainly not worth their prices (in earlier years you got tasty food worth the money). In the middle of our meal they started rearranging the tables next to us for no apparent reason. Very rude and distracting to a quiet meal. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants - we will not be returning.
Food was good but took a long time to arrive. Service was good. The place was a bit too noisy (mainly due to loud music from close by restaurant).
This is the second time we’ve been to fisherman’s catch and we’re not sure if it’s worth going back. The food is decent, nothing spectacular. The servers were very busy, and as a result, hard to find when needed. The view of the water is nice.
Absolutely awful. The kitchen was so backed up that we did not get our entrees until after 1 hour and a half after ordering them. Server was great, manager was terrible. Didn’t even come out to apologize to the tables instead he had his server, Anthony, take the brunt of everyone’s anger and apologize for him. The manager should truly be ashamed of himself and in my opinion is not fit to manage a restaurant. Food was cold and came out less than appetizing, which displays poor culinary skills on behalf of the restaurant. All in all the restaurant has a great product... right by the water, peaceful setting, lively as well as romantic, but poor managerial and culinary skills. Both of which are imperative to the success of a restaurant. Most likely will not be back...
Poor service okay food 1950 wine glasses with 2018 prices. Old stale restaurant will not return. Great view
I went to this restaurant using a Groupon, which I would recommend as the prices are moderate. Every summer my friend and I try to find a seafood restaurant to celebrate our birthdays. This place is beautiful and easy to get to. I had the lobster tails, which were large, however, I suspect frozen prior. They were broiled and a bit overdone. My friend had "The Fisherman's Catch" which she enjoyed thoroughly. The only issue we had was that as the sun went down the gnats came out. It actually became so intolerable, that we had to leave the table, rather than waiting there for the check, and pay inside. I didn't notice any citronella torches on the pier we were sitting on, maybe that would have helped. I would go back and try the place again, perhaps at a different time, or in the fall when it may be too cool for the gnats.
