When we arrived at our booked time, the restaurant was shut and had been for 2 days, we drove quite a distance to get there and were then left on Fathers day with nowhere to eat. The Restaurant was shut by the local council due to Rat infestation. WHY DIDNT THEY AT LEAST LET US KNOW, THEY HAD ALL OUR DETAILS IN THE SYSTEM

Disgusting. Never again. No wonder it is empty when the Queens Head, across the road, is full!

Waited 40mins for starter. Staff were pleasant but did not come to check if you needed any more drinks ect losing business revenue. Very pleasant setting we had a window seat and could see the water and people outside hence we waited for starter so long otherwise would have left. Food average.

Booked a table for 6 mid-week, family visiting from Canada. Table ready when we arrived, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely, fantastic chips! Didn’t have to wait too long, although it was relatively quiet in the restaurant. Sea bass, scampi and haddock meals excellent. Only downside was the catch of the day was lobster costing £40, which I thought was rather expensive and the only choice. Would definitely recommend

The food for Dinner and Breakfast was wonderful. It was tasty and so reasonably priced. Menu of great fish dishes combined with meat and other options. It was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. Generous portions. What's not to love? Friendly attentive staff. Breakfast avocado and poached eggs with home made salsa was soooo good. We will be back!

First visit with a bad experience. The food was very well cooked. Good ingredients, decent location, facilities were decent for a small pub by the sea. But was let down as we waited nearly an hour for Seabass. If the kitchen was backed up we would have appreciated the warning early on so we could decide if we were willing to wait or grab fast food elsewhere as we had to eat and run to get to our plans afterwards.

Sea food platter to share was very good lots on the plate. But could have done with small bowls of water to wash our hands after eating, especially the shelled king prawns. Also ice cream was tasteless and gloppy.
