Our central location in Borough Market means that London’s best produce is right on our doorstep. We are proud to say that we source most of our produce from Borough Market itself, and our fish is delivered daily from our very own fishmonger, Jarvis, which is renowned for its extensive range of the freshest fish and seafood. We're also winners at the National Fish & Chip awards too!
Thai fish cakes for starter were not good and did not taste fresh. Fish mains were good but nothing special. Desserts were also good but overpriced.
Lovely restaurant and great service! Lovely staff xx
Great service waiters bent over backwards to please and very friendly..Food and presentation 8 of 10
Excellent food and service. It is very lively and can get a bit boisterous, so this is not a place for quiet conversation.
Great place to eat fish. We had cod cheeks with samphire and cockles with local market fresh bread. Delicious and perfect portions for lunch. We liked the building and the high roof meant noise levels were low even though it was quite busy. Would recommend and hope to be back there soon.
Good food, good service and good environment. Bell ringing practice was on Wed evening at Southwark Cathedral so eating outside was a little noisy!
Really good seafood and fish. We were lucky enough to get great weather and a space in the outside covered area.
The fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had in my life. So crunchy, tasty, absolutely phenomenal. Would recommend based on the food alone.
5 stars as always!! Love it here
Good food, nice environment.
Hadn't been to Fish! for a very long time - but now it's back on my go-to list around London Bridge. Really fresh fish, cooked in a variety of ways - I had swordfish, delicious. We started with cockle and mussel popcorn which was a little underwhelming. It was a very hot day, and the zircon didn't really make it to window tables - perhaps the waiting staff could alert people to that?
I am a regular here. It’s convenient. The food and service are good but it is expensive.
5 of us had dinner and 4 of us had the skate wing which was delicious.
Birthday meal that was everything I expected 👍🏻
Great cooked fish worth the trip up from Chelmsford
Grilled Swordfish w/ garlic butter.
I am a Tour Guide. My customers wanted to go to Fish because 5 years ago they had a very good meal there but at this time all of us were disappointed.
The whole dove sole was not proper cooked, the squid was with a lot of pepper and the waitress not friendly.
Consistently good fish at Fish! (As you’d imagine). A fun, vibrant environment. Worth a visit but you’ll probably need to book!
The food was absolutely lovely (especially the lobster).. the service was brilliant with your wine glass topped up by waiters when running low and a very short wait time for food to arrive 10/10
Brought a friend visiting from Australia who requested seafood. Our waiter was very attentive and good humoured. And the food was delicious. The space inside the Borough Market by the Cathedral is also a nice spot.
My fish came over cooked and the outside skin was all burnt
We were recommended Fish! by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and a lovely restaurant to spend the evening in. We shared sardines and calamari which were both excellent, then had brill and smoked haddock for mains. Beautiful fish and great portion sizes, will definitely come back.
It was amazing in many ways. I was with friends who had never been to London and so chose fish as a known place of great cuisine, service and ambiance.
It didn’t fail to impress !
We hade oyster for starters with prosecco. Just perfect! Both my friend and I had fish as mains and it was cooked very well. Lovely waitress!
Great food and good service. Portions are good and everything we had was tasty!
We have visited Fish several times and are always pleased by the service and the food. Although it can get quite busy, it never seems to feel that way. I am not sure background sounds are needed - the hum of good conversation should be enough.
Food was OK, but I was disappointed with only getting a single fillet of sea bream for c. £18. The wine I chose was really poor quality for £30 - we didn't drink it and got £10 knocked off, but it spoiled the meal, as wine should have been a part of the experience. No idea how that wine ( a Spanish white) made it onto the list, and certainly not at that price
Lovely evening spent with my husband ...first time for him ! We decided to go for turbot on special ... slightly disappointing as portion size small & no overall flavour .. but we enjoyed a great bottle of wine & all other elements to meal were perfect ! I would definitely recommend & visit again.
The fish was as good as ever - the glass of prawns the freshest I have had since I have been to you before.
An interesting location in Borough Market, a lovely, busy, good quality, excellent value and enjoyable. You don’t get battered Hake in that many places !
Beautiful produce cooked to perfection. Perfect venue
A very enjoyable birthday meal. The food was absolutely beautiful. The waiting staff were lovely and I can’t wait to come back!
Buzzing atmosphere, really relaxed and friendly, service was fantastic, food amazing, we weren’t rushed at all, staff all very polite and helpful - couldn’t have had a better time! Thank you Fish.. we will be returning!
Fresh delicious fish, quick and pleasant service . It was very noisy though
Very average overpriced food. We asked for a wine recommendation and the waitress pointed us to the most expensive bottle on the menu. Found an automatic charity donation added to our bill - a pretty sneaky way to get customers to donate to fish’s charity of choice. I’ll choose which charity I donate to thanks. Locations great though and it’s a lovely big airy space.
I have been coming to Fish for years, the food was fine, service was good, but we were charged just over £50 for a 1/2 carafe of chardonnay which seemed really steep for the quality of the wine. I have just checked their website and the 1/2 carafe should have been around £30.
If you like fish and especially fish and chips, this is the “plaice” for you. Fish! Is convenient to London Bridge in the heart of Borough Market. It has a good variety of fish, good service, a decent selection of wine and cocktails and even food for non/fish eaters. Unless you arrive before 6 pm, it’s probably a good idea to book, especially on Fridays.
Good food enjoyed at a pre theatre lunch. Efficient staff but our waitress was somewhat unsmiling. Fair Value for money for London, but portions of some main courses rather small, we felt, especially the fishcake which could have had more vegetables offered with it. Noisy once the restaurant was full.
The service and food were very good, particularly the fish cakes and sticky toffee pudding. The restaurant could not be in a better location. My only slight issue being that Fish is a little on the pricey side. That aside I will definitely return.
The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
