Mina's, sitting in the Ritz Ko'Olina, is flanked by a pool on one side, and a lagoon beach on the another. Much of the restaurant is designed as a large covered and uncovered lanai, with some open-air indoor seating. The openness and location makes for a bit of a noisy setting, but this is an acceptable trade-off for the view of the west coast of Oahu. Seafood-focused dining is not without many options for any course, including many steak options and . The menu did not mention the amazing on-the-house pita, hummus, olive tapenade, and tzatziki sauce. Servers are extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to food allergies, with recommendations and/or warnings based on menu options. Our servers omitted tzatziki and provided extra hummus and tapenade due to food allergies, which is a huge bonus! Hostesses were a bit caught off guard by the weather delaying our reservation, which is the only shortfall I could think of (a very minor 15 minute wait to be exact). The Ahi was cooked perfectly, perched on top of a crispy taro cake!

We are there on vacation. It rained unexpectedly and we were moved inside. The wait staff essentially forgot about us and a Ted like they were doing us a favor serving us the food we had ordered. It was expensive and the food was just ok. Beautifully presented but just meh in flavor. Very disappointing meal.

The service and presentation of the food was great. My wife and I did a tasting of the ahi poke, squid, crispy cauliflower, marinated avocado, lobster bisque, and black cod. The bisque and the fried rice side with the cod were a touch too salty, but overall nicely put together dishes. The poke presentation and table service was a great experience and was the best we had on the island so far. Cocktails were excellent. Definitely a great place to celebrate.

Beautiful view and top notch service. We went with family and friends. This restaurant was a great balance of fine dining cuisine with family friendly amenities such as kids menus, color crayons, and complementary watermelon for the kiddos while we waited. We showed up early for our reservation and they seated us ahead of schedule so we could take advantage of happy hour. Finished our meal just in time to walk to the beach and catch the sunset from the cove.

Best dinner on the Island so far! Highly recommend for families or couples! Best seafood, steaks and amazing deserts! Try the coconut Panama Cotta, you will not be disappointed!

The service was amazing. We were well taken care of. Our server was very thoughtful and took the time to explain and give suggestion on the menu. There was some one there to explain the fish selections and all about the different types of fish and how it was prepared. The food was very good. I enjoyed the ambiance. There was a singer there that evening. He was awesome. The drinks were just okay.

My wife and I enjoyed our dining experience there. My wife had the charbroiled seafood shellfish platter. I had the Madai half side fish. The food was great, we love seafood.

We had an excellent dinner at Mina’s. We had our toddler with us and they were accommodating to her - giving her watermelon as an appetizer. The service was excellent with so much knowledge about the food and drink. I would highly recommend.

15 minutes before anyone greeted us or brought water. Waited 45 minutes between appetizer and main course. Food was mediocre. Server was very nice and apologetic for their delays.

Wonderful experience. Tip: make reservations as there is usually a line of walk-ins waiting for a table.
I especially like that they asked about food allergies and dietary preferences repeatedly: once at the desk and again by the server. I have family members who never eat out due to allergies so will be coming back here with them.

Dinner started with complementary flat bread with 3 spreads: olive and garlic butter, traditionally spiced hummus, and yogurt w/herb. The bread was wisked away as soon as the appetizer plate arrived (we had raw petite oysters).
We enjoyed the petite grilled seafood tower which came with oysters, shrimp, lobster. Perfectly cooked grilled with a lightly applied miso-butter sauce which was also given as a dipping sauce on the side. Also had the grilled black cod (not to be confused with the usual cod species) My husband and I had casually remarked to the server that we would be sharing each dish. Much to our surprise we EACH received, at no additional charge, perfectly identical generous servings of the black cod, garnished with squid ink and served over rice.

We were seated inside where had a great view of the lagoon and ocean. Lively conversations going around but not intrusive to us. My husband is hard of hearing and still could hear well. It was raining outside, although rain usually goes away quickly on this west side of the island, we did not sit in our preferred outdoor seating. [Tip: wear sunscreen if you are going to sit outside.] Also didn’t sit under the seating which is under a retractable roof (looks like a retractable canvas but heavier and waterproof) because of a later huge event in which they were setting up. But plenty of other seating available inside and outside on the lower balcony.

Beautiful setting and good service. However, I’m not sure the food was worth the prices. I had the lobster pot pie for $95!!! It was yummy, but for that price, I wasn’t sure it was worth it. Also, the dessert menu was not tempting.

A great view and good service. The food quality was amazing but it is pricey. Waitstaff was buzzing around, meeting all our requests. Gorgeous view of the lagoon and the ambience was on point. Granted, it’s Hawaii so everything is higher priced than back East but no alcohol consumed and our party of 7 averaged over 100$ a person. It was vacation and definitely glad we got to enjoy it but it was a bunch of money for what we ate. The fish I had (90$) was underwhelming but the sashimi (25$) was awesome. The lobster Potpie (90$) was a cool presentation and was delicious. It’d be worth about 60$ or so to me but I gotta admit it was unique and delicious

Our waiter Damien was amazing. Friendly, fun, high energy very likable guy. The food was delicious and good portions. There was way too much time between appetizer/salad and the main course. Prob 30 min. The scenery was pretty but we thought we would be able to see the sun set but you can’t. Here was the biggest negative. They knew it was our anniversary and they sat us at this table that was a bench seat with one chair on the opp side. We decided to sit on the bench side together and look out at the ocean. However, the pad on the bench had to be left over from my college dorm days because it was about 3.5” thick and 20 yrs past it’s useful life. For what they charge, they could invest in a new pad that is 8” and more comfortable. Don’t let them sit you one of those tables and I’m sure your experience will be good.

Service very slow-waiter was attentive early (and apologized for delay) so probably the kitchen that was slow with our entrees. Then it took 20 minutes to get our check after we were finished-this was on waiter.

Food was good. Wine pour very stingy.

Overall experience not bad-but I would not be enthusiastic in describing to others because of the issues cited above.

What a great restaurant, but it’s at the Four Season’s, we had a great table watching the sunset, our Waimea’s very good too. The fish was melt in your mouth great also. The ambiance is perfect, the prices are reasonable for Hawaii.

Ambiance was great and our waiter was really nice. He was very attentive but forgot a few things he says he was going to being. For example, he said he was going to bring a new set of napkins. My baby accidentally spill one of the sauces, so of course, the napkins were dirty after wiping it off. He forgot to bring our duck fat fries. Not sure if he heard us order it. Our water stopped being refilled towards the end. I gotta says though, their oysters were so yummy!

We booked our dinner evening because it was the only night we were free on our stay on Oahu and, because it happened to be a special day - Valentine’s Day - we found out that dining that night had a prix fixe menu. We were a little concerned that our food choices were going to be limited but the menu and food preparations were awesome. We enjoyed the food as well as the wine pairings. And, everything else about the evening was also wonderful - excellent service and the setting (a Hawaii sunset) was memorable.
