Service was terrible- food took forever- waited 45 mins from time of ordering. Food was mediocre at best. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Visiting area for one night. Needed a place for dinner, chose Fish Camp. It was extremely busy that night so service was slow. We were seated right next to the bar, so at one point I just got up and got us drinks. It was not the waitresses fault she had to take a table of 24 men golfers and so that consumed her just to get their drink order. I timed it perfectly and got to the bar and ordered us drinks before she took the big order to the bartender. The food was ok,again very busy kitchen. I am thinking on a different day, it would have been a different experience.

First - they didn’t have a record of our reservation. We got seated at a high top table. The waitress was wonderful. The food was pretty tasteless. My friend & I had the shrimp & grits - the shrimp were small & the whole meal lacked flavor. We both wound up adding some hot sauce. My husband a a combo that was just okay. Our friend had the fish tacos which he said were unremarkable. We won’t be returning

Great location. Bad night for the waitress. Disappeared and no one could find her. Owner took our order.Food was average but main entrees were good and dessert was delish.

We sat outside by the water. The food was average. The cole slaw was chunky and flat (no spice) with way too much mayonnaise. Avoid it. The green beans needed some bacon or something to pick them up. The server insisted I changed my order from fried fish (which fit the setting) to what he claimed was a spectacular Grade A strip steak. Reluctantly I took the “special”. It wasn’t. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well. It was a scraggly strip steak -thin and tasteless. The restaurant is a casual, understated waterside watering hole which probably does a better job with fried fish and French fries. I believe a “special” should be a special and was sad to have missed my opportunity to try their fried fare. Sadly, a leopard cannot change its spots!

Reservations were not necessary on a Monday night. Very casual. I had a pound of peel and eat shrimp doused with old bay and my date had a crab cake which she raved about perhaps due to the key lime martinis...

Although this fish camp is "on the water" it is also located on a very busy intersection. Traffic noise was a big distraction to an otherwise decent lunch meal.

Best food and service around. Everything is fresh, cooke well,and many items are sustainable. They also have gluten free items. Jim is a hands on ,personable, and generous owner.
