The service left a lot to desire, without taking anything away from a fast food, at a restaurant from a well known chef with the price you are paying for the food, the least you expect is quality service. Food was mediocre yet expensive. Music creating the ambiance did not seem to go with the tone of the restaurant (loud oldies playing all night long). Overall, after dining at some of the best restaurants around the world, this didn't even make the cut to compare with a long john silvers. Truly disappointing and would not recommend it to anyone.
Not a very good experience on a second visit to Fish. The waiter tried to rush us from the start, he wanted to charge us for bread, he disappeared when the meal came out and the fish was woefully undercooked, and he didn't know the first thing about pouring wine, reaching across the table to fill glasses. We did get comped for the fish that had to be sent back to the kitchen, but for a restaurant named Fish, it was pretty pathetic.
The service was unparalleled! Out waiter Brett was amazing, we like to take out time when dining out and we never felt rushed. He gave thoughtful recommendations. He gave us fresh silverware with each course. The manager stopped by our table to see how we were enjoying our meal and was very friendly. We were dining there for a birthday and our friend called the restaurant to send a bottle of wine to our table and the restaurant was able to accommodate him! They really went above and beyond. What a wonderful experience!! Would absolutely recommend and will return. The Cobia was amazing and honestly, the side of carrots were out of this world! Loved our experience!
Great wine. Spectacular view. Good shrimp. Slightly dry but rockfish. Skip the boardwalk fries.
You can’t go wrong with great service and wonderful food!
We had to wait for 40 minutes past our reservation time, before we were seated. It was embarrassing in front of important guests I had for that day.
Tasty Rockfish dinner. The stone crab appetizer wasn't a good value but tasted fine. We skipped dessert. Cocktail was tasty but expensive.
Loved the food and the setting. And our server was great. Sitting down was a bit chaotic though. We had a reservation and still waited some 20 minutes. There seemed to be no process and the waiting area was a bit crazy. All of this set aside by how good the food was.
Had an overall great experience once again! Came for anniversary dinner 2nd year in a row! Service was great, food came out without delay. Quality in my opinion was great, ordered from raw bar, rockfish, clams and crab cake, all delicious! Cocktails were awesome, they have the big ice cube for the whiskey/bourbon drinks so it doesn’t get watered down. Views from the restaurant were also pretty great.
FISH was outstanding food, service, and atmosphere perfect. I will definitely recommend FISH to my family and friends. Definitely going back again.
Great decor and ambiance. Food and service was okay. Avoid the beet salad! I appreciated the service but was not overwhelmed by the food or experience!
Fish by Jose Andres illustrates that you really do get what you pay for! While not inexpensive, the restaurant gave us a truly memorable meal, provided by impeccable service. I can't rate this high enough!
My wife and I had “Jose’s Way” which is the chef’s tastings option. The food was delicious and plentiful. We couldn’t finish it all. We’ll definitely do it again.
Slow service crab cakes below average
The restaurant was a bit disappointing, especiallyconsifeting
Food was excellent as always. Fish portions can be a bit bigger for the price. I will like to try the fry bar on my next visit.
Great fresh whole red snapper, tasty lobster bisque, attentive service. A great time
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is especially Cristian. He is phenomenal. The Tractor Pull (bourbon) is really good. I always get the chopped salad. The salad is so fresh and light. But what I love the most is the mac and cheese. I always say it is like no other. It is so delicious. The mashed potatoes are creamy, buttery goodness. I love the deconstructed banana pudding too. I can't wait for the summer menu. They make an amazing corn soup with hot sauce. I always enjoy Jose Andres' restaurants.
Our Server Cha-Cha was fantastic. The food is always great and an all around wonderful celebration.
We requested a view and separate checks when making the reservation and we got neither. Service started out attentive and continued to deteriorate with each course. The food was fine, but not exceptional for the price ($150 for 2, only water to drink). I don’t think Jose’s been in that kitchen for some time. As much as I admire his humanitarian efforts in places of need, don’t let me pay the price by sticking your name on an inferior product. Very disappointed.
The hostess was extreme rude and took her time seating our party. The server/waitress was very pleasant and the food was good but waiting over 30 minutes when you have a reservation is unacceptable.
The food and service were excellent! The ladies room needed some attention, however.
Excellent service & food. First class
The shimp cocktail was below standard. I had better, fresher and bigger at Red Lobster.
The lobster rolls were also below standard. Had fresher, better and more lobster meat at Coastal Flats.
I went to support Jose Andres because of the work he does but cannot recommend.
Great food and sangria with great service and beautiful surroundings
Saturday night e restaurant was very busy. Despite a reservation we had to wait 10 minutes for our table. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, but because the restaurant was so busy it too a long time to be served everything, including drinks which finally arrived after the appetizer. Quality of the food was very good, despite the kitchen being taxed. Right after 8 o’clock the restaurant was not very crowded, due primarily to people heading to the show in the nearby casino. If you go, try to avoid going on a show night or go very early or late.
Beautiful restaurant, impeccable service and delectable food!!!
Had a great birthday meal with my husband and 7 month old baby. Food was fantastic. Service was impeccable. We loved having the doors wide open to enjoy the first nice weather day of the year.
Overpriced food that was just Ok but great service
Having diner at Minibar and several other Jose Andres restaurants, it’s wild he would put his name on this. Really mediocre food, at best
Food was exceptional. Ambiance and service excellent. Oh the food, the food magnificent
Wife an I tried the tasting menu an was blown away. The shrimp an grits are insane!
We had a wonderful time and the food was great.
Service and food were fantastic, as always. Broiled lobster was removed from shell, and reassembled to make it neat and easy to eat; the accompanying buttery lobster stock was exquisite. We ordered the roasted brussels sprouts without the grapes and cranberries - they were delicious, and cooked perfectly. Delmonico potatoes were very nice, in creamy sauce. One of our party ordered the trout, which was fresh, cooked perfectly, and nearly covered the entire plate. Wine selections by the glass are outstanding. Service was impeccable. A little noisy, but vibrant and fun. There's a lot of space - the restaurant is not crammed full of tables - which gives it an open, airy feel. Kind of pricy, but overall, highly recommend.
First and foremost, the service was fabulous. We did a small family birthday dinner here, table for six. I originally booked for five, but we had one more show up and they easily accommodated us. The ambiance was also good, it was not very noisy, and at a fairly large round table we didn't have to shout to hear each other. The food was excellent, however, the portions were very small, which was disappointing as the prices were anything but small.
I would not recommend going to this restaurant hungry, unless you just hit it big in the Casino. We will likely not go there again, just because its too expensive for what you get.
Great setting. Great food and service. Never felt rushed or neglected. This will become a regular destination.
The bar staff seemed pretty stretched. We ordered 2 drinks while waiting for our table. They didn’t come prior to being seated. We were told the drinks would arrive at our table, they had to come to the table and retake the order. My drink arrived and it was wrong and had to be remade.
The waitress was mindful of our need to run to our show, so she kept the food on tasting menu coming. The first two courses were just, ok. Thankfully the food got a lot better after those two courses and were very good except for the dessert. The dessert was just ok and a flat ending to what was actually a decent and very filling meal.
Everything was delicious! A little pricey but worth it! 😋
Ordered a martini, the king crab cobb salad and oysters. The oysters were good quality, but full of shell. Martini didn't arrive until well after the oysters. The cobb salad was paltry and didn't include the king crab at first. Crab was delivered separately in a bowl and made the tiny salad look large. Salad dressing was runny and lacked seasoning. Service was very slow, despite it being a Monday night and sparsely occupied. I left hungry. Ambiance was beautiful, but the experience didn't deliver like a normal Jose Andres restaurant.
The tasting menu was outstanding and an excellent value as well.
