Was disappointed with the Brisket, was Pot Roast not Brisket, service however was excellent as was ambiance.
Wonderful food and excellent service. Best choice in Park City for a great meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed Firewood. We started the meal with the Pear salad which is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. For entrees, we had the elk and the brisket. Both delicious and filling. The only negative - we felt it was a bit overpriced. Good for a special occasion
Food and service was very good. However I had added some special requests in my OpenTable booking that didn't seem to get noticed. If you have special requests you may want to call to ensure they see it.
Service was excellent - Thanks Kelli! Food was good, but by 6:45pm, they had already run out of the Kobe filet 🙁. Not to worry, though. Everything we had was very good. Not as GF friendly as I’d hoped. No GF bread options, and even the Gelato for dessert had gluten as a thickener. Only GF dessert option was a very sweet apple cider sorbet. But if your not GF, you will love this place!
The vegan entree was outstanding! The carnivores were pleased as well!
Can't wait to go back. The old fashioned cocktail was perfect crafted. The amuse bouche was just delightful and they were great at accommodating all of my allergies. The waitress was so conversational and we loved it. Great experience all around!
3rd time here and still good. Buzzing for a Sat night. Nice touch with an complimentary amuse bouche. Shared salads to start then table had elk, coriander salmon and lamb. As evidenced that nothing was left on our plates - all were great.
Truly enjoyed Firewood. The location was familiar: it used to be Cicero's, a long time favorite of our family. Price points are higher now, but the food was outstanding, as was our waiter, Benjamin. We enjoyed speaking with owner-chef John Murcko. Definitely worth considering.
Another one of our Park City favorites. The Filet and Gnocchi were excellent but the Elk was incredible! Our server was very attentive, engaging and explained the menu with knowledge and enthusiasm. Highly recommend Firewood.
Loved our table next to the window where we watched the team prep the amazing food. Our waitress, food, drink and ambiance was amazing.
Great fun at Firewood. Amazing Smoked Trout appetizer and delicious salads (compressed pear was our favorite) followed by a very satisfying brisket dinner with beets and potatoes. Service was attentive and added to the ambiance. Look forward to returning.
Everything we had at Firewood was absolutely delicious! Try the NY steak - it’s awesome! The service is great and the craft cocktails are tasty! Mia the manager came by to make sure all was great!
Wow - On a street filled with great restaurants it is difficult to stand out. Firewood does that easily. The staff is incredible - Every member well trained & friendly. Our waitress was knew the menus & specials & was able to help my ski buddy pair the right Cabernet to match his flame-cooked lamb with duck leg confit & my venison special (flame cooked rib chops). The decor is as eclectic as the food. Overhead was a large, moving windmill from a Texas farm. The tables were all hand made by the chef! Afterwards, we grabbed a couple of drinks at the bar downstairs that had a great selection of bourbon (I had the Blanton's) . Again the bar-staff was very knowledgeable. Tracey was also a collector of the Blanton's horses - All in all a terrific night.
Excellent food, excellent service! Enjoyable evening!
My husband and I ate here during a ski trip. I loved the appetizer we shared (pork belly) and my dinner (short ribs). My husband ordered the bronzini, and it had a slight fishy taste. He was not enamored of the restaurant. I liked it a lot. The waitress could not have been better. However, I did think the prices were a bit high.
This is surely the most expensive restaurant in Park City. I am sorry folks but the additional price is not worth it. There are many fine dinning opportunities in PC an this is certainly among the top ten but the service is indifferent, the food is well prepared but the price is astronomical.
Good food and service. Great ambience and a good-looking crowd.
The place was beautiful and service amazing. Food worth every penny. Will go back ASAP
Other than having to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time for a table, food and ambiance were very good. Definitely a nice addition to Main St dining and we put Firewood in our top 3 dining options in Park City. Definitely will be back. Downstairs lounge and bartender (Tracey) were highlights.
Amazing combination or ingredients! One of the best meals I’ve ever had!
My favorite restaurant on Main Street.......food is amazing!
The gnocchi appetizer and my salmon entrée were good. The smoked brisket my husband ordered was quite disappointing. It was very tough and very dry. Not at all as expected or described. It was supposed to be braised for 6 hours or so and was touted by the server as one of the house favorites. Maybe he should have sent it back but he's not comfortable doing that. I, on the other hand, would not have accepted it.
Food was awesome. The elk was delicious. My friend had the Kobe steak and loved it. Gnocchi was perfect. The only issue was that the wine did not come out in time with the dinner as we had asked our server, and he did not ask how we wanted our meat grilled (rare or medium rare). Other than that it was fabulous and we will come back
Food was really great and our server Michael was very informative regarding the locally sourced dishes. This was our second time dining at Firewood and will definitely be back for a third.
Benjamin, our server, made our dinner delightful! Attentive service, excellent recommendations and delicious food. Laid back atmosphere while providing fine dining. Fun evening.
Excellent, except our table was very drafty and cold and our requests to turn up the heat, while fulfilled, didn’t make a deference.
Love the decor and that the chef made all the tables himself. They told us his father did the amazing painting in the entrance. The food and service were equally amazing. Great cocktails & wines by the glass. We especially loved the gnocchi starter and the brisket entree. Will definitely make Firewood our first reservation on our annual return trip.
We did enjoy the meal. Service was a little off as meals arrived slower then we had expected for a 5:45 pm reservation, restaurant was only half full when we were sat. Best part of the menu was definitely the starters. Love the full view of the Kitchen very entertaining to watch the process
👍👍👍 great food, service, everything!
Fabulous service and delicious food!
It was truly terrific-
Very friendly and attentive waiter.
Food is excellent.
One thing not so good was we had to wait 20 min from our reservation time to be seated.
Great food, great wait staff; best dinner we had in Park City and we went to all the highly rated restaurants
We ordered the duck and trout appetizers both excellent! We split the brisket entree, slow cooked and melt in your mouth delicious! We are from New Orleans, we know a little bit about fine dining. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Firewood was DELICIOUS. We went for Valentine's Day and it was quite romantic and the food was wonderful. We had quite an indulgent meal, but it was worth it. Our waiter was very attentive. The wine list was also excellent and we had a great recommendation from the waiter for a wine from the Frank Family that we enjoyed.
The service as outstanding, simply the best we experienced during our week in Park City. The food was on point albeit pricey. I would highly recommend the cocktails. We had the Old Fashioned and the Fire Line. Both were top notch!
A great addition to the Park City restaurant scene! Our server, Victoria, was wonderful! I highly recommend Firewood.
