Firewood features American heirloom cuisine with seasonal menu rotations to incorporate the freshest regional produce. Many dishes will be prepared over open flame using chef-selected wood like cedar, cherry and maple to enhance flavor. Firewood’s custom-made open flame grill boasts five separate cooking stations that guests will be able to see, thanks to an open kitchen design.
Fantastic dining experience! Great smells, great taste, great drinks, great service
This was an outstanding find! Really exceptional food, service and unique cooking techniques! Learned so much and was allowed to meet the head Chef and a quick tour of the stunning kitchen. And, being a duck snob, I can honestly say that this was one of the very best this country can offer!
Wonderful experience. I'm sorry this is annoying having to provide a more detailed overview. I won't answer again.
Everything was perfect. Food delicious with a very innovative menù, the trout appetizer was something out of this world. Service was super they all made us feel very comfortable, super polite and attentive without feeling “ fake” . Definitely we’ll go back. A little on the expensive side but worth every penny.
One of our family's favorite spots in Park City. They continue to amaze with their exquisite food offerings and service. Always love to sit up front to watch the kitchen staff do their magic; but even the back room has great ambience. Never disappoints.
Pricey even by Park city standards, but very good food and unique flavors from the actual firewood cooking.
A bit noisy for easy conversation on the night we were there.
We loved the cocktails and the New Zealand Lamb
Was wonderful! The ambiance with the open kitchen
Gregg had great wine knowledge
I can’t say enough great things about this place. From the fantastic menu to the out of this world service. Great concept and atmosphere. It’s worth every dime, any amount of time you have to wait and any pre or post calorie counting. The surprise of the night, for me, was the smoked trout appetizer! The butternut squash and goat cheese salad was fantastic as well. Oh and I can’t forget the lamb. Kudos to the chef and his team!!!
Yet another great meal at Firewood. We were treated like royalty and the food was exceptional. The chef even sent out a mid-meal treat. Delicious.
My favorite restaurant in Park City, great food, knowledgeable service, beautiful decor
Excellent food and service. Will definitely return.
Best restaurant in Park City! Best staff! Service is exceptional and the food is different and flavorful
Fantastic meal - Chef John Murcko is a star in the Park City Culinary scene - don't miss Firewood on your next Park City trip!
Super disappointed with the food preparation. Menu descriptions sounded good, but delivery was poor. Brussel sprouts undercooked and way too hard. Same with the apple in the dessert. Broccolini was cold, and completely tasteless. However, the brisket was very good. And I like that they source from Beehive Cheese. The space is huge and loud and feels like a tourist trap. We were seated at a table that felt like it was on a hallway. Not a tranquil setting for trying to enjoy a date night.
Firewood never disappoints. Delicious food, attentive service and a great vibe. The pork belly appetizer is outstanding. Try the brisket or salmon. Two of my favorites. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our dinner: food and service were top notch. The wine was a bit on the expensive side and not as good value as some other restaurants where we have dined. We were seated in the main area-high ceilings- new/modern, attractively decorated though a bit noisy. However we enjoyed our overall dining experience and would recommend Firewood.
Fairly good food but at a very high price. Overall service was good but at the end when we were no longer ordering drinks our waiter disappeared no more incentive and the coffee's and desert came out so late I had to leave to grab the car the other guests ate my desert and I met them at the car.
Great food and service
Best food I’ve had in Park City in awhile
Absolutely a must
I’ll be back soon
Great food, wonderful service, they went above and beyond to create a fantastic experience.
Beautiful atmosphere, great service, fun for date night or group. Only complaint is that overall food is too salty
Food was fantastic! The best were the ash-potatoes. We ordered, salmon, duck and brisket. All were excellent. My husband is a big steak-eater so was surprised there weren't steak options but the brisket was good.
This was our first visit to Firewood; we were intrigued by the menu. When we went, the restaurant had been open a couple of years. All of the staff were wonderful. The restaurant was busy, even on a Wednesday night, and it was noisy. The restaurant’s main room is pretty, with a full length view of the kitchen and its fireplaces. Our problem was with the food; they told us the menu had just changed - which must have been a seasonal summer menu to a fall one. My mother ordered pork rillettes, and they were ice cold. Right out of the refrigerator. Impossible to spread on bread, and not as finely shredded as they should have been. I ordered the bavette, which was perfectly cooked. However, the reduction was like pure salt. So, overall good, but two huge mistakes that don’t belong in a high-end restaurant’s food.
Firewood is an outstanding restaurant in old town Park City. Centrally located within walking distance of shopping and nightly activities. I would recommended it.
We have eaten at Firewood several times, never been disappointed. There are interesting combinations of flavors. It is always difficult to choose what to order, everything is wonderful. The service is attentive, but not too much so. Can not wait to go back!
The food was only ok. The servers were very very attentive. I wanted the dining experience to go a little slower and they needed the table - which is good for them.
Current favorite in Park City. Creative cocktails and well prepared food. Love that they go out of their way to recognize and thank repeat customers. The Nickel Bar downstairs is cozy for winter dining.
We go as often as we can get there. Excellent food and service always in a special location in Park City.
Very impressed with the service, food selection and atmosphere!! Will definitely return.
Very loud, only going to get worse "in season"...
Great restaurant with a very relaxed and contemporary feel. Superb food and service was great.
Phil our server was fantastic
excellent food and very fresh. excellent waiter. not for every day dinner
This is now my #1 favorite restaurant in Park
City, UT! The food choices, service, and ambiance are top notch! Never had juicefruit before and loved it! John, Renee, and J’Ame make me feel SO welcome, like we’re “friends.”
Felt dining area looking into kitchen was VERY warm
We had a wonderful experience. This was our 2nd time dining and was even better. Both times the service staff were on point, they knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. Both times we had the smoked trout toast, probably the highlight of the meal. We shared the halibut and lamb, both were very tasty and fresh tasting, like it had just been grown out back or flown in that morning. Their menu is seasonal and find it really interesting that they make an effort to get the smokey flavors into everything they serve, even something as simple as the sugar that goes into their cocktails. The restaurant is pricey but so is every nice restaurant in Park City, the only difference is Firewood is worth every penny.
Excellent menu with very fresh ingredients. Awesome cocktails and good wine list too. Servers are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Love the rustic upscale decor. It's our favorite spot in Park City. We recommend it often.
I thing outstanding. Disappointed
I was in PC for 2 days, found this gem for dinner and went back the next night for more. The food OUTSTANDING, the vibe is comfortanle but definitely appropriate for a special occasion and the staff is attentive, personal and incredibly competent. Firewood is an absolute treat and I can't wait to go back!
