We had a great experience! This was our first time eating here and we will be back. For starters, the trout was amazing... And I normally do not like trout. We also had the pear and orange salads... Both great. We had the steak and the brisket for dinner. Everybody was very happy with their food. Service was excellent.
Took a long time to get the food once ordered
Limited menu due to being low season. Food was good but not exceptional.
outstanding food and service. Always a delight and fun to dine. Glad they are in Park City.
Inge was delightful and made a fabulous experience fantastic!
Great food and great decor
Our service and food were out of this world. It was our best dining experience in the Park City area, and we hit all the top-reviewed spots. The manager, Mia, went way above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening. The setting was cozy and casual, but still very nice. We all loved watching the kitchen staff do their magic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I cannot imagine how one could be disappointed. The food is truly exceptional! My aussie hubby was wowed by the lamb chops, as was my foodie cousin.
Firewood Restaurant and the Nickle Bar is my go-to restaurant in Park City UT to take friends, family and co-workers who appreciate high quality, fresh, non-processed food that's masterfully prepared and beautifully presented.
The menu is unique and inventive without being overly complex. The chef had done an amazing job creating harmonious/balanced dishes with plenty of depth and layers. In addition, each dish is masterfully prepared and artistically presented by a skilled kitchen staff.
The servers at Firewood Restaurant are all extremely knowledgeable about the menu and they do a fabulous job helping each guest navigate the menu by providing detailed explanations of the dishes and answering questions.
The entire staff works seamlessly together to provide a wonderful experience that begins the first moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the hostess staff.
I highly recommend Firewood Restaurant in Park City!
The food was spectacular and so was the wine. The servers were very attentive. The dining room is beautiful.
I had the pork tenderloin and it was amazing. My daughter had the appetizer gnocchi and she loved it. The service was attentive and warm. I plan to return to Firewood the next time I'm in town.
Great food! Great service!
Very expensive kids options but great food and service. Fun ambience
Second time at Firewood. Outstanding again and is now our favorite restaurant in all of Park City. The 3 of us had the Brisket, the Lamb Chops, and the Elk Loin. All incredible.
Best restaurant in Park City, hands down. Great food, fantastic service, only thing missing is a better assortment of mezcales
After 25 years of eating in Park City's restaurants we have found a place that actually says "welcome back. "Literally. They keep track of your reservations and greet you with that information and a warm welcome. The food is unique and delicious and the service is warm and knowledgeable. Our new favorite. Other PC restaurants need to take a big lesson from this group!
Superb! Best restaurant in Park City!
Great grilled meat over wood fire
Unusual mix of spices and flavors
Not your typical bar b que fare
This is now one of our top restaurants in Park City. The food is great, the decor is unique, and the service is excellent. There was a large party with a separate kids table (very young kids) who were a little boisterous. Staff did all they could to hasten their exit, discipline the kids (which should have been the parents' job), and reassure other diners that they'd be leaving soon -- which I found exceptionally considerate on the part of staff.
We loved everything! The cuisine is very imaginative, but not wacky. The flavors complemented each other. The salads are all great: orange salad, pear salad, etc. definitely recommended!
A repeat visit because I know the dining experience will be a good one. Staff is very eager to satisfy and congenial. A small amuse bouche to start. Shared salads; one with oranges is lively and refreshing, one with golden beets is a pleaser. Smoked brisket was very appealing on the plate, caramelized and hearty. Everyone sent a fork in that direction and was not disappointed. The lamb/duck combo is unique and also pleasing, but on this second visit the lamb is still way too pink for my tastes. I opted for the pork dish, classically paired with apples and cabbage and a smattering of gnocchi. A dish like this leaves you feeling warm and cozy, the Malbec might have helped as well!
Look forward to returning in the near future.
We had an excellent dinner with 8 people. Delicious, creative food, warm, rustic atmosphere, prompt, friendly service, and a great vibe. The roast gnocchi was particularly unusual and tasty.
Firewood has a neat atmosphere with the kitchen in view. The wood burning ovens are nice to see. The Smoked Trout appetizer was great. We had Salmon which had a Coriander flavor that was more like a clove flavor...not to my liking. It was a nice piece of Salmon, perfectly prepared, just not a flavor I cared for. Some may enjoy that tho. My husband's Lamb Chops had a different flavor as well that he did not care for. They were nice sized but just flavors we are not used to. Service was excellent and all were very attentive.
always an outstanding meal. Best restaurant in Park City!
We are in town for our annual ski trip and had heard rave reviews on Firewood. We only dined there once thus far and we would definitely return to try other menu items. My husband had the beet salad and the Elk. Both were incredible . The beets are fire roasted and are delicious. He also ordered the pork back appetizer that was amazing as well. He could have ordered several more of those and had them for an entree they were so good. I had the duck appetizer which is duck breast on salad and that too is a must have. It was delicious!
You could order 2 as an entree and be perfectly happy. I had the salmon which was fine. It just wasn’t a wow. It was perfectly cooked but wasn’t savory or delicious it was just good.
I would really give the restaurant 4 1/2 stars on food since almost everything was amazing. Definitely a great restaurant .
Great service! We had the chicken, steak beef brisket all were amazing!
Simply a great restaurant, with excellent food and service. Very creative cooking that complements the Main Street of Park City.
Terrific on all levels sssssdddddddddddddddddddddddd
Was disappointed with the Brisket, was Pot Roast not Brisket, service however was excellent as was ambiance.
Wonderful food and excellent service. Best choice in Park City for a great meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed Firewood. We started the meal with the Pear salad which is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. For entrees, we had the elk and the brisket. Both delicious and filling. The only negative - we felt it was a bit overpriced. Good for a special occasion
Food and service was very good. However I had added some special requests in my OpenTable booking that didn't seem to get noticed. If you have special requests you may want to call to ensure they see it.
Service was excellent - Thanks Kelli! Food was good, but by 6:45pm, they had already run out of the Kobe filet 🙁. Not to worry, though. Everything we had was very good. Not as GF friendly as I’d hoped. No GF bread options, and even the Gelato for dessert had gluten as a thickener. Only GF dessert option was a very sweet apple cider sorbet. But if your not GF, you will love this place!
The vegan entree was outstanding! The carnivores were pleased as well!
Can't wait to go back. The old fashioned cocktail was perfect crafted. The amuse bouche was just delightful and they were great at accommodating all of my allergies. The waitress was so conversational and we loved it. Great experience all around!
3rd time here and still good. Buzzing for a Sat night. Nice touch with an complimentary amuse bouche. Shared salads to start then table had elk, coriander salmon and lamb. As evidenced that nothing was left on our plates - all were great.
Truly enjoyed Firewood. The location was familiar: it used to be Cicero's, a long time favorite of our family. Price points are higher now, but the food was outstanding, as was our waiter, Benjamin. We enjoyed speaking with owner-chef John Murcko. Definitely worth considering.
Another one of our Park City favorites. The Filet and Gnocchi were excellent but the Elk was incredible! Our server was very attentive, engaging and explained the menu with knowledge and enthusiasm. Highly recommend Firewood.
Loved our table next to the window where we watched the team prep the amazing food. Our waitress, food, drink and ambiance was amazing.
