Firewood features American heirloom cuisine with seasonal menu rotations to incorporate the freshest regional produce. Many dishes will be prepared over open flame using chef-selected wood like cedar, cherry and maple to enhance flavor. Firewood’s custom-made open flame grill boasts five separate cooking stations that guests will be able to see, thanks to an open kitchen design.
We always enjoy our evenings at Firewood’s.
One of my favorite restaurants in park City.....food is awesome
Best restaurant in park city, hands down. Every single dish was fabulous. The pork belly was a stand out, the oxtail raclette was lovely and rich. My duck was heavenly, perfectly balanced with figs. The brisket was also delightful and hearty. We even splurged for dessert, and the Black Forest cake was the perfect treat to top it off. This was not our first time, and we will certainly be back.
Brian did a great job as our server. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly.
Greg the manager stopped by and we had a good conversation. Firewood is a well run establishment and a gem in Park City a town with many great establishments.
Overall grade C+
Food was bland, uninteresting and forgettable
Service was competent
No reason to recommend or return
We to this day have no idea who the strange woman was who came up to us mid bite and asked how the food was
second visit for us, first with a group of 8 and recently just my wife and I....wonderful, great taste and service.....
Have been here many times any it never disappoints. Great service, great atmosphere, great food! We are always treated well. Try the Elk!
Great dining experience!! The duck was amazing and every course was delicious. Our party of 6 said it was the best meal we had in Park City.
Food and service was amazing. One of my new favorite restaurants. I would recommend the Elk.
Awesome place, should be packed, much better than the Spanish place down the street. We'll be back next year.
beautiful seating in front room with view of kitchen, well prepared interesting food, great service, pricey.
Great! Interior is wonderful. Just wish the carrots were warm and the bread was a little better.
Had a wonderful table downstairs near the bar. Menu offered unique options. Food and service were wonderful.
Firewood is our new favorite restaurant in Park City. The service was exceptional and the menu unique and delicious.
The menu, service and wine list was excellent. We sat in the back part of the restaurant. The reason I mention, the middle of the restaurant has a view of the kitchen. If you enjoy watching your food being prepared make sure you ask to be seated in that area. A must visit.
The service was very attentive. They were very accommodating to some unique requests and to vegan diner. The staff were courteous and the food was spectacular !!!
Scores are lower based on experience of dinner that was served in a rushed manner. Needed more leisure between courses. Servers are challenged by size of tables and lack of adequate space between tables, in that they have to reach over outside diner to put plates down for inside diner. Otherwise we liked the space and food was very good.
Excellent food, a little pricey, nice environment
Loved the food, atmosphere and the whole vibe! Our favorite place no matter the occasion. Of course, Rene the manager is simply the best!
Esther was a terrific server. Excellent recommendations. I got a last minute reservation in the bar, and it was fantastic.
Food was outstanding! We will be back next Sundance!
The food was absolutely fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the concept of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend.
The best in Park City!
Even with so many great options in PC I'd return for sure.
The front of house staff were less friendly and less organized than they should be for a restaurant of this caliber. However, the waitstaff were impeccable and accommodating and really made the evening. The food was good but not worth the price tag. I’ve had better meals for half the price in more expensive cities.
We had amazing service that really was exceptional.
Looking to relocate to Park City and Firewood is one more reason to come! Wow spectacular offerings and service. Really loved everything we ate and the attentive service. Will be back
We have dined at Firewood several times now & have had wonderful experiences across the board! We all be returning in a few weeks too!
First time there.it was outstanding
The appetizers were the best part for the vegetarian in the group. Amuse Bouche was great!
This was by far the best fine dining restaurant we experience during our four days in Park city. The service was excellent, the wine list superb and the food was very well prepared. We both started with lobster bisque which was outstanding. One of us had the swordfish which was cooked to perfection, very moist and well appointed with an olive tapenade. My wife had the duck it was cooked very professionally. We definitely look forward to going here again upon our return to Park City.
Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience at Firewood this evening. The food was satisfactory, but it was not the food. It was the disappointing service. When we spoke with the manager this evening to share our frustration about the service (we waited over an hour for our entree) and to ask how much longer for our food to arrive, his response was extremely defensive and he continued through the rest of dinner to behave rudely and really horribly. It was definitely not a service oriented experience and a disappointment since it was recommended by our hotel.
Loved the food, service, ambiance. We ordered almost all the specials and they were fantastic. Flavors went well together. We will definitely be back!
We ate at Firewood last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The menu was very gluten-free friendly, which is really important to both of us. The food was amazing, I cannot rate the New York steak high enough. So GOOD!
My husband and I went to Firewood a few times when it first opened two years ago and really loved it. Also we went a few times last winter. We enjoy good food and don't mind paying for it when its provided.
Our latest outing to Firewood over this weekend when friends were visiting from out of town was really disappointing due to the INCREDIBLY SMALL portions sizes (two slices of NY Strip steak (I estimate 2-3 oz) and 4 oz of Salmon at $49/plate each.) The service was also very inattentive.
The other thing that has seemed to change is that the menu is so convoluted.
Firewood has so much detail of the obscure, minimal unknown accent ingredients that it is hard to determine what might actually show up in front of you. We suspect the chef and management is trying to present an "elevated" menu to justify their unjustifiable prices. Skip it.
Very enjoyable meal with great service. Generous servings
Family meal while on vacation
What a great and find
Had a relaxing and enjoyable evening with excellent serve and cuisine. The duck was amazing, as was the pork belly and elk, not to mention the cocktails. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.
